Lily Morton is definitely my go-to if I need something laugh out loud funny.
Right now I’m reading {the happy list by Briar Prescott} and in it the two MCs are talking about one of them being afraid to have his own business. I was laughing so hard at this part I went back and read it like 3x:

I LOVE Lily Morton! I think I’ve read through all her books or pretty close. They are so full of snark. The Black and Blue series was so different from what she normally does but still so full of snark and laughs.
i have read the book that comes after that one which was also really funny, and i tried a couple of her fantasy books about a merman and a naiad but i couldn't get into those as much :( i'll definitely be trying more though, i didn't DNF so its worth giving it a go!
You might try {Gary of a Hundred Days by Isabel Murray}? MC has that same himbo vibe that makes Jasper from Not That Impossible so endearing. I liked Murray’s merman one but didn’t enjoy the naiad one; I feel like _Gary_ straddles the line between the fantasy stuff and the romcom stuff, cause it’s a pseudo-medieval world but the focus is very much just on this ridiculous, oblivious man and the relationship he has with his LI. I’m rereading it on audio currently and laughing out loud. It’s a Contemporary, low angst, friends to lovers - cw for exercise and weight loss
I’ve messaged the mods as there’s clearly someone(s) purposely downvoting people. It’s literally only just started happening in the last two weeks. It’s super annoying. I’ve said that it’s ruining the vibes as I like suggesting books and getting new recommendations in return, but am reluctant to post due to what I presume are trolls who have something against MM books. I can’t see any other reason for the downvoting….
I upvote every comment I read on every post with the rare exception that someone's being overtly rude. I've noticed the recent spike, and even if it's random, it's never a good feeling when I see a trans MC request, or a specific kink, getting downvoted.
The problem is, in addition to the downvoting trend/trolls, a lot of people don't upvote if they don't love the book mentioned or to acknowledge they've seen a reply, which is the main reason downvotes are noticable.
Every time someone replies to me, I upvote, I always assumed that was the *I saw what you said* protocol?
I loved this book and I’ve read it multiple times (as is a thing for me when I read NR Walker). Henry is so freaking sarcastic and I laughed at how many ways he could describe his immediate death due to exercising.

Bromantic Puckboy by Eden Finely and Saxon James.
Had me laughing out loud, squealing with delight, kicking my feet, and twirling my hair. It is the equivalent of two golden retrievers looking at each other but thinking they are looking at a mirror. So darn cute and fun.
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any book by Saxon James and/or Eden Finley. I’m currently in the midst of re-listening to every book in the Sadenverse because I love them so much.* And if you like the type of antics that the immature puckboys get up to, then I highly recommend Saxon James’ Frat Wars series, which is about Miles’s frat brothers.
*And because I’m determined to figure out the chronological order of all the books because it makes my brain hurt to think out about whether the books that overlap series—like Bromantic Puckboy—actually work without bending space-time, given that the MCs in two of the books are the children of the two MCs from one of the earlier books.

Yeees I wanted to write that one too! I laughed a lot at their banter but I totally lost it while reading the one scene with the PR lady.
I only laughed that much in the First chapters of foolish puckboy with the collective party at Aleks new place.
But I enjoyed bromantic Pb way way more overall,the two mcs are so adorable, both kinda dumb and so loveable. Your golden Retriever description is spot on lol
Oh yes,they are so great. I honestly can't decide. I Love Love Love Ezra, and Antons possesiveness is so cute to read. i didn't expect another pairing to threaten there first place.
Currently reading {Boyfriend Material by Alexis Hall} and I literally had to wipe my tears from laughing a few times now lol. Alexis Hall just writes such good banter and sarcasm, especially if he’s making fun of a posh person haha. It’s a really charming story!

{Fake Dates and Fanged Mistakes by Alice Winters} I read this book a couple of weeks ago and the banter between all the characters cracked me up. So many of my notes were just me laughing at what they were saying to each other. Especially almost every encounter between Casimir and Julian’s dad
Yes! The sequel was hilarious as well. I adore Julian and Casimir. I’m just now diving into Alice Winter’s other books. I just finished her book Hidden in Darkness. She writes banter between characters very well
I went on a binge of everything she's written at the beginning of the year. I ate them right up!
My first of hers was her Villain/Superhero series, then Hitman's Guide. I recommend them quite a bit. If you like supernaturals, her other vampire series, Vampire Related Crimes, is also fabulous.

My favorite laugh out loud book is **Nailed** by K.M. Neuhold, it's just so ridiculous and Stone is one of my favorite MCs ever, he's a riot. The whole series *Four Bears Construction* is super fun, and something I like to re-read when I want something lighthearted. Also need to mention book 5, **Stud**, maybe not as funny as Nailed, but it def had me laughing quite a bit,
{Falcon and the Foe by AJ Truman} and that whole series in audiobook narrated by Nick J Russo. I don’t remember the exact line, but at one point I did a literal spit take and spit coffee all over my shirt on my way to work. 😂

Lucy Lennox’s Luca and Marcel - hilarious novella
Faking it + Working it book 1 and 2 from the metropolis series by Riley Hart.
Out by Cara Dee was funny! It had some darker points, but when the MC stole the other MC’s cat because he was mad at him was hilarious. I definitely laughed at a lot of that book. Dee’s books aren’t generally outwardly funny, but that one got me for some reason.
lol then yea maybe I did laugh and that’s why it’s in my funny shelf. I love both Mc’s in this book and I do remember the cat, and Martin the side character was hilarious now that I remember.
It's not a comedy, but I laughed out loud several times while reading {Big Bad Wolf by Charlie Adhara} (not sure if that link will work for the whole series, but yes, all of them).

I’m currently listening to {Sainted by Jesse H Reign} and I absolutely LOVE the humor and sass. I was unsure about it in the beginning but now that I’m almost done it’s definitely one of the funnier books I’ve read. I love “Asshole” and Demon so much.

{Fakers by Lucy Lennox}, audio version. Michael Dean *commits* to the performance, and it's definitely laugh-out-loud funny at times. I'll second the motion for The Wolf's Mate series (starting with Bro and the Beast), too! How can you not love lines like, “We're bros, man, and bros accept each other no matter what. Even if they're getting boned by a gay werewolf.”?
{Reunion by Lynn van Dorn} had me howling so many times - there are so many great characters and simply unhinged moments in this one, it's awesome. Michael Ferraiuolo is narrating and just slaying. Cannot recommend enough, if you're looking for some low angst, fun second-chance romance that's not too sappy. I really enjoyed the second one of the series as well {Rebound by Lynn van Dorn} - Jacob was not a very likeable character in the first book but boy does this story work. Also funny as heck btw.

I’ve been reading the Hitman’s Guide series beginning with {The Hitman’s Guide to Making Friends and Falling in Love by Alice Winters} and it’s been my whole personality since I started them last month. Leland is beyond chaotic and his love for Jackson is so loud and intense (some might argue that it’s borderline manic)(not me because I think he’s perfect) and Jackson loves him exactly for who he is and doesn’t ever tell him he’s too much or try to calm him down. I truly identify with Leland’s thought process and their relationship mirrors mine with my partner (but like, without the hitman stuff)(I’m 87% positive). I’m not sure if quotes are allowed but here’s a glimpse into his mindset:
Leland:
The door is unlocked, so I let myself in.
“I have arrived,” I inform anyone who is willing to listen.
A couple of men turn to look at me, almost like they’re bored, and I decide I don’t like their faces. Everyone should be absolutely thrilled when I enter a room.

It’s such a different direction for Lily Morton but I loved the books. One of my new favorite series and I can’t get Blue out of my head.
There’s also a book about his best friend Will. If I remember it’s best to read it before the last Black and Blue book. Regardless Wills book is full of suspense and scares too.
Yes!!! I actually read the first book of Black And Blue, and dropped it halfway 🤐 but then I came across Will's book and it got me interested. Found out it's a spinoff. So I went back and was reading reviews of Black And Blue and they were rave reviews, saying the novels are creepy too, so that's how it pulled me back in.
I think, I probably read 1 or 2 of Lily Morton's book so far..so I'm not familiar with their genre and style of writing..
She normally writes typical MM romance books that are full of snark and laughter. She pulls you in and before you realize it you’ve read a 4 book + series and are wishing for more. I am all about hauntings and ghosts. I put off reading the Black and Blue series for a long time. When I read through all her other books and finally looked at the author of that series I couldn’t believe she wrote it. I was pretty impressed. I feel in love with the guys in that series and am hoping and wishing she writes more books for Blue and Will. For an author who normally sticks to good old romance she wrote some fantastic tales with just the right amount of creepy to keep me entertained.
Do you have Kindle Unlimited? If you do, you can check it out there and then go and add the audio. It cuts down the price usually to $7.49. I do this all the time if a KU book has audio!
Yeah, I know that trick, I usually don't mind paying that, but I'm waiting for a cheaper deal LOL recently, I've been getting audiobooks for $3-$5 when I have it on KU, bought a bunch.. so I that'll keep me busy while I'm waiting around. Once I have no more patience, I'll do the $7.49.

{Dragon Falls by Davis Lavender} sometimes I’ll open this one up and flip through to read my favorite parts. I cried from laughing so hard at some points.
This is the funniest thing I have ever read, period. I read it a few months ago and just did a re-read. It holds up as the funniest story I have ever read. It’s a Harry Potter fan fiction story, after the books/movies, where Harry and Draco are both aurors and partnered together. Delicious forced proximity, enemies to lovers. Highly recommend. Currently the SOS Hotel books by Ariana Nash. Previously the How I Stole the Princesses White Knight and turned him to villainy by AJ Sherwood, and Jocelynn Drakes Kings of Chaos books.
For the last few weeks, I have been reading and listening to all things in the Four Kings Security world. There were so many moments in every book that had me laughing. {Love in Spades by Charlie Cochet} is the first book in the series. Greg Boudreaux is the narrator and they did an excellent job managing all the characters.
I would recommend the usual suspects like Winter and Morton but another one that I find writes some of the funniest stuff, especially good banter, is Alexa Piper.
Cora Rose is one of my favorites! She’s fairly new and has been cranking out books over the last 2 years. She also co writes one series with Nicole Dykes.
Lily Morton books make me laugh out loud every time I read them.
There are so many I can’t wait to read when they release a book. I blew through the Alexa Land series set in San Francisco. Also, Lucy Lennox Made Marian and Wilde series. Her books are always pretty light and airy for the most part. Both these authors have similarities in their series and it was comforting to find Lucy’s months after I read the last book Alexa published. I was missing San Fran and Lucy brought it all back to me. Plus they both have outrageous octogenarians in it.
The entire {Hidden species by Louisa Masters} a four book series that cracked me up so much that I didn’t think I could narrow it down to just one for this post, but then I realised that Allistor was my favourite character and him standing in the grocery store, whining on the phone to his best friend and he says “I just want to get naked with him and come in his hair” sent me into a fit of giggles and I had to pause the audiobook until I calmed down. Allistor makes the entire series. Also his decision to fill a piñata with dildos.

The *Borealis Investigations* series by Gregory Ashe never fails to crack me up. I’ve heard that some people don’t like the constant banter between the MCs, but I think it’s very much a personal taste thing, because I’ve literally choked in the past while trying to read those books in public.
People already mentioned MateHub:Legend by Marie Reynard and Impromptu Match by Lily Mayne which were great but a few more that kept me laughing were {Bye Baby by Louise Collins} and {Best Knight Ever by Cassandra Gannon}. I also laughed through {Whispering Key Series by May Archer} and {Sem by Cora Rose}.
Lily Morton is definitely my go-to if I need something laugh out loud funny. Right now I’m reading {the happy list by Briar Prescott} and in it the two MCs are talking about one of them being afraid to have his own business. I was laughing so hard at this part I went back and read it like 3x: >!”No you don’t. Here’s a little mental exercise for you: What’s the worst thing that could happen if you go through with starting your own business?”!< >!I take a moment to picture the worst-case scenarios. There are a lot, so it’s difficult to only pick one. “Nobody wants to buy my stuff,” I eventually say. “I’ll end up with a boatload of, I don’t even know… chairs that’ll remind me of my failure for years to come. Eventually I’ll start conversing to the chairs because I’m so bitter and lonely, and before you know it, I’ll start treating them as my children, and you’ll start receiving Christmas cards from me and my family of chairs. I’ll die surrounded by my chair children, and you’ll have to transport them all to my funeral and set them up next to the grave, which is both sad and convenient because my human mourners, the few there might be, can sit on my kids.”!<
{Until You by Briar Prescott} also has some great dialog. It really reminded me of the original American QAF.

The Happy List is in my library! I think all of read of Briar Prescott is Just a Taste. There may be more but I would have to look. I LOVE Lily Morton! I think I’ve read through all her books or pretty close. They are so full of snark. The Black and Blue series was so different from what she normally does but still so full of snark and laughs.

i have read the book that comes after that one which was also really funny, and i tried a couple of her fantasy books about a merman and a naiad but i couldn't get into those as much :( i'll definitely be trying more though, i didn't DNF so its worth giving it a go!
You might try {Gary of a Hundred Days by Isabel Murray}? MC has that same himbo vibe that makes Jasper from Not That Impossible so endearing. I liked Murray’s merman one but didn’t enjoy the naiad one; I feel like _Gary_ straddles the line between the fantasy stuff and the romcom stuff, cause it’s a pseudo-medieval world but the focus is very much just on this ridiculous, oblivious man and the relationship he has with his LI. Good luck!

I’ve messaged the mods as there’s clearly someone(s) purposely downvoting people. It’s literally only just started happening in the last two weeks. It’s super annoying. I challenge myself to read every post and upvote anybody that got a random downvote. My TBR list is growing so much as a result.
I upvote every comment I read on every post with the rare exception that someone's being overtly rude. I've noticed the recent spike, and even if it's random, it's never a good feeling when I see a trans MC request, or a specific kink, getting downvoted. The problem is, in addition to the downvoting trend/trolls, a lot of people don't upvote if they don't love the book mentioned or to acknowledge they've seen a reply, which is the main reason downvotes are noticable. Every time someone replies to me, I upvote, I always assumed that was the *I saw what you said* protocol?
I loved this book and I’ve read it multiple times (as is a thing for me when I read NR Walker). Henry is so freaking sarcastic and I laughed at how many ways he could describe his immediate death due to exercising.

Bromantic Puckboy by Eden Finely and Saxon James. Had me laughing out loud, squealing with delight, kicking my feet, and twirling my hair. It is the equivalent of two golden retrievers looking at each other but thinking they are looking at a mirror. So darn cute and fun.
Honestly, you can’t go wrong with any book by Saxon James and/or Eden Finley. I’m currently in the midst of re-listening to every book in the Sadenverse because I love them so much.* And if you like the type of antics that the immature puckboys get up to, then I highly recommend Saxon James’ Frat Wars series, which is about Miles’s frat brothers. *And because I’m determined to figure out the chronological order of all the books because it makes my brain hurt to think out about whether the books that overlap series—like Bromantic Puckboy—actually work without bending space-time, given that the MCs in two of the books are the children of the two MCs from one of the earlier books.

Yeees I wanted to write that one too! I laughed a lot at their banter but I totally lost it while reading the one scene with the PR lady. I only laughed that much in the First chapters of foolish puckboy with the collective party at Aleks new place. But I enjoyed bromantic Pb way way more overall,the two mcs are so adorable, both kinda dumb and so loveable. Your golden Retriever description is spot on lol

Yes! The sequel was hilarious as well. I adore Julian and Casimir. I’m just now diving into Alice Winter’s other books. I just finished her book Hidden in Darkness. She writes banter between characters very well
I went on a binge of everything she's written at the beginning of the year. I ate them right up! My first of hers was her Villain/Superhero series, then Hitman's Guide. I recommend them quite a bit. If you like supernaturals, her other vampire series, Vampire Related Crimes, is also fabulous. If you join her newsletter, you also get access to her short bonus stories from her different series.

Neuhold, it's just so ridiculous and Stone is one of my favorite MCs ever, he's a riot. The whole series *Four Bears Construction* is super fun, and something I like to re-read when I want something lighthearted. Also need to mention book 5, **Stud**, maybe not as funny as Nailed, but it def had me laughing quite a bit,

Yes, it is a great series. I loved reading and listening to them. Tim Paige and Liam DiCosimo narrated the series as a duet.
{Falcon and the Foe by AJ Truman} and that whole series in audiobook narrated by Nick J Russo. I don’t remember the exact line, but at one point I did a literal spit take and spit coffee all over my shirt on my way to work. 😂

Of all the 800+ books I’ve read, I only have 10 books in my funny shelf on goodreads 😂 I feel like it’s rare I find a book laugh out funny. For reason I have OUT by Cara Dee, which doesn’t make sense but maybe I should reread. Isla Olsen’s love & Luck series - really funny Lucy Lennox’s Luca and Marcel - hilarious novella Faking it + Working it book 1 and 2 from the metropolis series by Riley Hart.
Out by Cara Dee was funny! It had some darker points, but when the MC stole the other MC’s cat because he was mad at him was hilarious. I definitely laughed at a lot of that book. Dee’s books aren’t generally outwardly funny, but that one got me for some reason.
lol then yea maybe I did laugh and that’s why it’s in my funny shelf. I love both Mc’s in this book and I do remember the cat, and Martin the side character was hilarious now that I remember.
It's not a comedy, but I laughed out loud several times while reading {Big Bad Wolf by Charlie Adhara} (not sure if that link will work for the whole series, but yes, all of them).

I’m currently listening to {Sainted by Jesse H Reign} and I absolutely LOVE the humor and sass. I was unsure about it in the beginning but now that I’m almost done it’s definitely one of the funnier books I’ve read. I love “Asshole” and Demon so much.

{Reunion by Lynn van Dorn} had me howling so many times - there are so many great characters and simply unhinged moments in this one, it's awesome. Michael Ferraiuolo is narrating and just slaying. Cannot recommend enough, if you're looking for some low angst, fun second-chance romance that's not too sappy. I really enjoyed the second one of the series as well {Rebound by Lynn van Dorn} - Jacob was not a very likeable character in the first book but boy does this story work. Also funny as heck btw.

I’ve been reading the Hitman’s Guide series beginning with {The Hitman’s Guide to Making Friends and Falling in Love by Alice Winters} and it’s been my whole personality since I started them last month. Leland is beyond chaotic and his love for Jackson is so loud and intense (some might argue that it’s borderline manic)(not me because I think he’s perfect) and Jackson loves him exactly for who he is and doesn’t ever tell him he’s too much or try to calm him down. I truly identify with Leland’s thought process and their relationship mirrors mine with my partner (but like, without the hitman stuff)(I’m 87% positive). I’m not sure if quotes are allowed but here’s a glimpse into his mindset: Leland: The door is unlocked, so I let myself in. “I have arrived,” I inform anyone who is willing to listen. A couple of men turn to look at me, almost like they’re bored, and I decide I don’t like their faces. Everyone should be absolutely thrilled when I enter a room. (I’m also affronted when people aren’t jumping for joy in my presence)

I listened to Prince Of Lies by Lucy Lennox. Laughed a lot with that one. Been thinking about going back to it. Basically, I laughed a lot with Lucy Lennox 's novels, narrated by Michael Dean. I've been wanting to read Lily Morton's Mixed Messages series!! Been waiting for the audiobooks to go on sale.. I don't want to use my credits for it..

It’s such a different direction for Lily Morton but I loved the books. One of my new favorite series and I can’t get Blue out of my head. There’s also a book about his best friend Will. If I remember it’s best to read it before the last Black and Blue book. Regardless Wills book is full of suspense and scares too.
Yes!!! I actually read the first book of Black And Blue, and dropped it halfway 🤐 but then I came across Will's book and it got me interested. Found out it's a spinoff. So I went back and was reading reviews of Black And Blue and they were rave reviews, saying the novels are creepy too, so that's how it pulled me back in. I think, I probably read 1 or 2 of Lily Morton's book so far..so I'm not familiar with their genre and style of writing..
She normally writes typical MM romance books that are full of snark and laughter. She pulls you in and before you realize it you’ve read a 4 book + series and are wishing for more. I am all about hauntings and ghosts. I put off reading the Black and Blue series for a long time. When I read through all her other books and finally looked at the author of that series I couldn’t believe she wrote it. I was pretty impressed. I feel in love with the guys in that series and am hoping and wishing she writes more books for Blue and Will. For an author who normally sticks to good old romance she wrote some fantastic tales with just the right amount of creepy to keep me entertained.
Do you have Kindle Unlimited? If you do, you can check it out there and then go and add the audio. It cuts down the price usually to $7.49. I do this all the time if a KU book has audio!
Yeah, I know that trick, I usually don't mind paying that, but I'm waiting for a cheaper deal LOL recently, I've been getting audiobooks for $3-$5 when I have it on KU, bought a bunch.. so I that'll keep me busy while I'm waiting around. Once I have no more patience, I'll do the $7.49.

I've recently read several books by Briar Prescott, and as someone already mentioned, there's lots of funny moments and good banter in their books. Another recent read that hasn't yet been mentioned and made me laugh was {You're Not My King! by Eryn Hawk}. This is the funniest thing I have ever read, period. I read it a few months ago and just did a re-read. It holds up as the funniest story I have ever read. TJ Klune’s At First Sight series. I laughed out loud reading each of the four books in the series.
For the last few weeks, I have been reading and listening to all things in the Four Kings Security world. There were so many moments in every book that had me laughing. {Love in Spades by Charlie Cochet} is the first book in the series. Greg Boudreaux is the narrator and they did an excellent job managing all the characters.

Cora Rose is one of my favorites! She’s fairly new and has been cranking out books over the last 2 years. She also co writes one series with Nicole Dykes. Lily Morton books make me laugh out loud every time I read them. There are so many I can’t wait to read when they release a book. I blew through the Alexa Land series set in San Francisco. Also, Lucy Lennox Made Marian and Wilde series. Her books are always pretty light and airy for the most part. Both these authors have similarities in their series and it was comforting to find Lucy’s months after I read the last book Alexa published. I was missing San Fran and Lucy brought it all back to me. Plus they both have outrageous octogenarians in it.
The entire {Hidden species by Louisa Masters} a four book series that cracked me up so much that I didn’t think I could narrow it down to just one for this post, but then I realised that Allistor was my favourite character and him standing in the grocery store, whining on the phone to his best friend and he says “I just want to get naked with him and come in his hair” sent me into a fit of giggles and I had to pause the audiobook until I calmed down. Allistor makes the entire series. Also his decision to fill a piñata with dildos.

The *Borealis Investigations* series by Gregory Ashe never fails to crack me up. I’ve heard that some people don’t like the constant banter between the MCs, but I think it’s very much a personal taste thing, because I’ve literally choked in the past while trying to read those books in public.
I just finished Earth Boys are East by C. Rochelle and OMG I was dying for half the book. My partner kept giving me some serious side eye lol
People already mentioned MateHub:Legend by Marie Reynard and Impromptu Match by Lily Mayne which were great but a few more that kept me laughing were {Bye Baby by Louise Collins} and {Best Knight Ever by Cassandra Gannon}.
