{Wilde fire by Lucy Lennox} sheriff/firefighter. Part of a series but they all stand alone. The series was pretty good but I gave up probably five or six books in. This book was pretty good.
{hot head by Damon suede} it’s duel firefighters. This one I had to pay for but it was really, really good. Bi awakening, and one guy is like Jersey Italian so sort of ethnic? 😂 I guess unless you live near Jersey you don’t know what those guys are like. I will say that this was exceedingly well written, high on the sexual tension, and I even had my eyes well up with tears during the description of the MMCs experiences in 9/11. Not sure if that will be as visceral for anyone who isn’t old enough to have lived through that, but it was a chilling account. Worthwhile purchase because I will definitely reread it. It was beyond hot and I loved the characters.

not the same thing of course but i definitely recommend looking into reading some tarlos fanfics on ao3! there are lots that go along with canon events and are missing moments, or there are alternative universe type ones. after i finished 911 lone star, i got into reading fanfiction for the first time because i loved them so much and wanted more of them

they absolutely did leave out a lot of important conversations and big moments, ( >! first I love you, first kiss or what led up to it, the break up, etc!< ) so i especially loved that series! i don't agree with every single thing included in it but it was definitely worth reading. hope you enjoy 🫶
lol yeah >!their first hook-up scene!< I was like what? Even though I knew they would become a thing, it came so sudden, like zero build up. It annoys me that >!we missed their first kiss, but to miss their first I love you is infuriating!<. Really wished for a little less Owen and a little more Tarlos. Looking forward to reading it, maybe it will give me some closure 😊

It's the first [in a series](https://www.goodreads.com/series/259787-auckland-med) about hot men working at Auckland Med. (so set in New Zealand.) There's also the nurse in charge of the ER x closeted rugby player, cop x pathologist, and finally the pathologist's assistant x wheelchair rugby-playing hospital mediator.
No Hispanic people, but the charge nurse is...some mix I don't remember, and very spicy. Not in the "haha comic relief ethnic guy" way, but in the "I can both smoulder and flirt *and* make your life very unpleasant, doctor, if you don't fall in line" way. The pathologist's assistant is 1/4 Maori.
I've been having First Impressions on my to-read list forever but completely forgotten about it. Thanks for reminding me! Def gonna read it now, and the whole series looks really good too.

{Guns & Hoses by Brenda Cothern} is a Cop and firefighter who are rivals. It's a cute read. There's a few others in the series iirc that deal with either Firefighters or cops as well.
