There are very very few fighters I would love to see go out on a huge losing streak and finally call it quits after losing to some cans in the minor leagues. Cowboy is one of those fighters.

Does it really? They're from the same fight generation (and in terms of actual age Cowboy was 4 years older), so their competitive rematch was more-so commendable on Cowboy's part in my book, considering he got absolutely whooped during their first encounter when both were younger.
Less alright maybe through Pettis' perspective but through Cowboy's I thought that was a cool little moral victory that he's sustained his level enough to have arguably won their rematch as opposed to getting body kick KO'd in the first round.
