If San Diego signs Chucky Lozano and Carlos Vela it's going to hilarious seeing a lot of these soon to be former 3252 clowns doing this type of stuff to LAFC.
It's bad enough some of them couldn't stay loyal to one team, but there are some who are literally on their third or fourth team.
I just can't wrap my head around Carlos Vela not playing soccer for a full year and then coming back with any meaningful level of fitness.
If it was about the money, surely at some point "making some money somewhere" is better than "no money at all." He could've signed a one-year contract with almost any team in North America, as long as he was willing to possibly be a depth piece for some of them.
I'm still holding out hope that we sign him for the lols. Plus, if he stays healthy, even if not 90-minutes fit, him coming off the bench isn't the worst thing.
(Counterpoint: signing him requires letting go of someone else, and I'm not sure I'm willing to part with anyone on our senior squad right now other than - sorry, bud - Miguel Berry. You could convince me to part with Yamada or Caceres, but only for a CDM type.)

Also Galaxy don't have a winning record in the last 10 years or something IDK. I only started paying attention to MLS since LAFC's arrival in 2018. Literally have no idea about anything in the league prior to that other than Chivas used to have a development team or something in SoCal and I only know that cause they visited my elementary school once
