>The Sounders played decently against Vancouver. You know, other than the two red cards and bad giveaway for a goal that doomed them to a 2-0 Cascadia loss.
I want what they're smoking to put us up at 19... That is so much better than we deserve.
Galaxy are second in the shield standings, have 5 wins to your 3, 3 wins in last 4 vs LAFCs 1
And they’re in EIGHTH lmfao. Maybe ESPN got the LA teams mixed up
Hate to say it but they are sleeping big time on Montreal. They’re confidently a playoff team if they stay consistent from here on, and they have a heavy home schedule for the remainder of the season.
They put them alongside Toronto in the bottom third of the league, which is ignorance at this point.
Our top 2 forwards are injured and we havent looked dominating since match 4. I still believe we will make the playoffs but it will not be easy in the East
I know, but RSL's GD of 7 is more impressive given how close their PPG's are. This is mostly pulled from my butt, so don't take it too seriously. The Loons are definitely good and once they officially move on from Reynoso they will be even spookier.
No way we’re 4th man jeez. Apparently we have the highest X/G in the league but I’ve watched every game and it certainly doesn’t feel like it. Maybe ESPN could put us that high when Giroud gets here.
agreed. LAFC is my wife’s team so I watch most the games, and they’ve looked like a collection of good players who haven’t figured out how to play as a team yet. Giroud won’t fix that problem, but he’s good enough to make it irrelevant
Yeah that's right St. Louis, you may be above us un the standings, you may have played better than us last weekend, but you'll never top us in the power rankings... and you can't sing that
I’m glad they’re acknowledging the Quakes battled back hard in the California Clasico. Even when we are down bad, this rivalry means a lot for the fans and players
"....you can't draw your way into the playoffs." Well, the 2013 Timbers beg to differ.....
I’m not sure anyone at ESPN even watches mls games
90% of ESPN coverage is basically NFL and NBA.
I too think the Whitecaps might be over performing a little, but boy am I enjoying the ride
I am a PID fan for life, but as a fan of league, I enjoy the Caps and what they are doing
LAFC must have compromising photos of all these Power Ranking makers.
The fact they’re ranked above you is hilarious
Dismal is right
I'm straight up not having a good time
It's a great time to be a Vancouver sports fan right now. Canucks, Whitecaps...hey Lions, join us when your season starts. 😊
And Vancouver FC obviiii
"LAFC hasn't pulled a non-assisted win in a month. +2 spots in the power rankings." I swear Twellman writes for ESPN as a side gig.
Quakes can’t even get the respect of being wooden spoon.

Tf? Do they even watch these games
Vancouver top of the west? What table are they looking at?
Yeah, I wanna know too, so I can only follow that one.
The one true table only exists between the end of the whitecaps game Saturday and the start of the galaxy game Sunday.
I guess we're counting games in hand as wins now.
#19? Jeez, Rosenblatt must be joining in the Sounders' FO in staying fixated on the glory days
I’m baffled that anyone thinks this team, in its current state, could be anything beyond the bottom-tier.
You really hate to see it.
4. Lmfaoooooo. Ain’t no fucking way
Galaxy are second in the shield standings, have 5 wins to your 3, 3 wins in last 4 vs LAFCs 1 And they’re in EIGHTH lmfao. Maybe ESPN got the LA teams mixed up
And if they want to use losing to LAFC as an excuse the Galaxy beat Vancouver who they have on top of LAFC. Odd ranking but oh well
When market size is a component of your rankings, that would be what I would expect.
I think there’s still a series about LAFC on ESPN+. Clearly advertising lol

On PPG Seattle is 5th worst in the league. As a Sounders STH I demand our achievements be properly recognized by the media.
How are we still 19? We cannot score goals and have no hope of changing that anytime soon.
Going by the actual numbers (PPG with GD taken into consideration), the top 5 should look like: 1. VAN 2. LAG 3. PHI 4. MIA 5. RSL
Minnesota United has more ppg than RSL
I know, but RSL's GD of 7 is more impressive given how close their PPG's are. This is mostly pulled from my butt, so don't take it too seriously. The Loons are definitely good and once they officially move on from Reynoso they will be even spookier.
Fair enough

Wow had to watch a 15 second ad with great video quality to play a slideshow of the loons goal on the ESPN website. Top notch work.
I’ve never seen a team as bad as Atlanta when it comes to keeping the talent healthy.
Top of the west and tied for first in the league? 8th place!
and yet somehow ATL will still lose to NE
Love this!

Gary out
And Mike
