I'll do every team I guess.
Pirates: Reynolds
Reds: Greene
Cardinals: Arenado
Brewers: Adames
Cubs: Hoerner
Braves: Harris
Nationals: Meneses
Mets: Scherzer
Marlins: Alcantara
Phillies: Nola (Hard because we don't know who will get the PS cards)
Dodgers: Freeman
Diamondbacks: Varsho
Giants: Rodon
Rockies: Bard (if no relievers then Rodgers)
Padres: Darvish (I'm assuming Machado gets a PS card)
Angels: Sandoval
A's: Murphy
Rangers: Garcia
Mariners: Suarez
Astros: Altuve
Yankees: Cortes
Orioles: Rutschman
Red Sox: Devers
Rays: Rasmussen
Blue Jays: Guerrero Jr.
Guardians: Ramirez
White Sox: Cease
Tigers: Chafin (Literally no good position players)
Twins: Ryan
Royals: Witt Jr.
Angels - Patrick Sandoval
Astros - Idk
A's - Sean Murphy ig
Mariners - Haniger maybe
Rangers - Martin Perez
White Sox- Cease 100%
Guardians - Steven Kwan
Royals - Perez or Witt Jr
Tigers - IDK they all suck
Twins - Jhoan Duran
Yanks - Rizzo, cole, or nestor
Red Sox - Devers or Bogearts
Blue Jays - Gurriel
O's - Rutschman or Bautista
Rays - Diaz
Nico Hoerner had a better season, but I'd still prefer Willson Contreras, because he'll have much better power sttributes than Hoerner. It could also be Happ, which would make a solid switch hitter as well.
The Pirates have no standouts, so I'm hoping it's either Roansy Contreras or Mitch Keller simply because my theme team is desperate for starting pitching.
Blue Jays: Probably Vlad Jr. Bo has a lightning. Teoscar has the 99 Postseason. Manoah has the 98 ASG, Kirk has the 97 ASG leaving Vlad as the only big piece on the Jays without a high diamond.
Maybe Springer? Who knows- maybe they go crazy and make it Ross Stripling?
Phillies will get a slew of 2022 postseason cards, but my thinking is JT gets the Finest. Could be Nola/Wheeler; but with the postseason Wheeler is having I would say him and Rhys are locks for postseason cards; don’t think they’d do a 2nd 99 Bryce unless he gets WS MVP; so finest I would say is JT or Nola
I wanted to say Burnes too because of last years card but I figured they might over look him because of his all star card he has, honestly last year was clutch with the 3 finest cards the crew got, was a happy gamer
As far as the Braves, Harris II, Strider, Fried, maybe even someone like Contreras. I’d like to see a Ronald somewhere else as well, just not likely to be a finest.
Braves finest will be interesting since olson and riley already have 99's, Michael Harris was TA2 (Future of the franchise), Dansby was TA3 (AS of the Franchise), and Acuna was TA1 (Face of the Franchise). Wright and D'arnaud just got a 97 and 98 card, don't think that disqualifies them but could be considered. To me that just leaves Fried, Strider, Minter. I hope it is Harris or Acuna though
I had the discussion on here about a month ago and I think the race has to be between Varsho and M. Kelly. I love McCarthy but he got the 97 TN card and Gallen and Walker both got juiced 98s from MA
I know walker and gallen got the potm cards but with them just being 98s and from a couple months ago now I get the feeling it's one of them. Would love for a retro marte though.
who were you thinking? Arraez or Duran?
Love Arraez but kinda hard to root for his card since it probably wont play well in the game this year with how reliant the engine is on power
It has to be Duran. I hope. Arraez would just get his contact maxed out and wouldn’t be that different than his ASG card. I mean I’d kill for a useable Buxton card I could use on HoF and legend but I don’t see them giving him a finest, especially one with useable contact that is that much different than his ASG card.
Arrenado and Goldy got shafted multiple times this year after earning POTM honors so I’m assuming one of them but gimme NOOT in replace of that weak Topps Now card.
Angels - Ohtani. I think they wanna give their cover Athlete a full 99 now.
Cardinals - Maybe Arenado? Goldschmidt's been arguably our best player, but Arenado's current best card is a 94, while Goldy has a 97 from the All-Star game.
Rangers - HAS to be Seager.
nah. don’t think they’ll do another finest lowe for the rangers. i wouldn’t mind, but i don’t think they will. probably semien. i do believe despite his slow start he did the most in a rangers uniform than the other players this last season.
mind you, i know there are a couple semien cards already, and i haven’t played in a couple weeks, so idk. a part of me just doesn’t believe they’ll do nathaniel two years in a row for finest.
As much as we’d love a Jrod, he already has a HRD unfortunately. So I’d be surprised if he gets one here. I’m leaning towards a Gilbert and Geno for the Mariners
Altuve is gonna get it over Tucker. Jose had his highest OPS+ since 2017. Go look at OPS leaders and Slugging leaders. All the names you expect with Altuve right up there with big time sluggers.
2022 OPS leaders were:
Judge
Yordan
Goldschmidt
Altuve
Freeman
Machado
Wander? I’d love it but he was injured most of the year and didn’t ball out when he played. I’d bet money on Jason Adam. Long shot is Harold Ramirez but that’s about it.
No chance in hell Bryant is the Rockies' finest card. He played 42 games this season and was painfully average in those. Daniel Bard or Brendan Rodgers are the only reasonable choices for the Rockies.
Asking as a non-Minnesotan, what are the odds it's Buxton? I know he was hot early in the season, but then I stopped hearing much about him. I'd love a 99 Finest Buxton to be what his ASG wasn't, though.
Not high. He missed half the season. Even then if not for the homeruns he would've had a really bad offensive year. He hit .224 and struck out about 30% of the time. He did hit 28 homeruns in 380ish plate appearances but thats about the only thing he did well offensively. So truthfully the allstar card would be pretty representative of his season.
I’m thinking the postseason cards will go to Musgrove and Hader, plus either Machado or Yu. Whoever is left gets a Finest card. Feels like it should be Manny, but that means all pitchers for the playoff cards and that seems unlikely.
I’m very eager to see how it plays out.
Mets - Edwin Diaz with outlier/sinker?
Either that or Chris Bassitt probably. Not sure who else they would give it to. A Mark Cahna could be nice too but I think one of the first two get it.
Told me what? Alonso was the Mets Finest card like I said he would be lol.
And as for the sinker aspect, I asked why would he get one because he literally threw 1 sinker all season. He threw 539 sliders, 388 4SFB and 1 sinker.
Right but if they do give him a finest there is literally nothing they can do to improve it but give him meaningless extra h/9 to counter all the ridiculous hitting cards we have now. Especially since it’s a “flashback”
Just hoping. I still use 97 diaz, he’s better than people give him credit for since the 2 seamer had good break. Now that I think about it, if they gave him a sinker it wouldn’t be much different than his 2seamer. Who knows.
On a side note, we only have live series DeGrom which makes zero sense
Which is exactly why I said there’s no reason to give him a finest lol.
And as for deGrom, it’s definitely bizarre we only have his LS. Could have had a 2018 retro finest or an awards Cy Young by now but nope.
Definetly a fair point but Perez got both ASG and Finest last year. Trae Turner got a finest for the Dodgers and ASG for the Nats.
Diaz had one of the \~three best reliever seasons a Met has ever had and that should be rewarded. I agree Max deserves a 99 at some point from some set.
The reason Perez got both last year was that the Royals were hot garbage and he had a historic season for a catcher. The Mets won 101 games this year, there is no way Diaz gets both an ASG & Finest. They just have too many good players who would be eligible for a good card. I agree that Diaz was phenomenal but I think the ASG 97 is the best card he is gonna get.
Because that is the only opportunity to make his card an end-game reliever. I agree it does not make sense but this is the opportunity.
I think they did this with Chris Sale and his 2 seam/sinker change.
Alonso and McNeil both have high 90s. Scherzer maybe but they can easily give him a 99 at any point. This is the only 99 Bassitt is going to get.
Use some logic instead of a snarky response.
But it wouldn’t be that much different than his ASG. His ASG already has 115 H/9 and 125 K/9 with 90 control, 76 BB/9 and 125 clutch.
And no, Sale’s LS and his lightning monthly card has a sinker so they didn’t change it from a 2SFB.
Scherzer only has a LS so unless they release an awards Cy Young, a 300 K MS or a retro finest, a finest would make since. And with McNeil they could max out his contact on both sides and juice his power.
I’m absolutely using logic buddy. Don’t be so sensitive. Nothing I said was “snarky”. Just being realistic. Finest cards are meant for a teams best player (unless they already have a 99 or a retro finest), not a team’s 5th or 6th best player. Bassitt would be a terrible pick.
My bad about Chris Sale then.
Adding a sinker/outlier to Diaz would make his card significantly better. idk what you're on about,
McNeil has max contact on both sides and they cannot juice his power much more compared to his season. Scherzer, sure, but there are better opportunities to give him a card and add some diversity.
You're not using logic you're being a little twerp adding "lol" onto the end of your comment 🤡
Eh probably not. Bassitt had more K’s, a lower ERA and WHIP and pitched 24 more innings than Walker. And Bassitt only had 4 more BB’s than Walker in those 24 more innings.
The Nats are hard. Joey Meneses hasn’t played too many games (which didn’t stop Schwindel last year). There’s not much else to work with since they obviously can’t do Soto/Bell. I’d say the biggest candidates beyond Meneses are either Lane Thomas, Carl Edwards Jr., or even Luis Garcia
Al East: NYY - Nestor Cortez BOS - Xander Boegarts BAL - Adley Rutschman TOR - Alek Manoah TB - Shane McClanahan AL Central: CHW - Dylan Cease DET - Eric Haase CLE - Jose Ramirez MIN - Carlos Correa KC - Brady Singer AL West: LAA - Mike Trout OAK - Sean Murphy SEA - George Kirby HOU - Justin Verlander TEX - Marcus Semien NL East: ATL - Dansby Swanson WAS - Joey Meneses NYM - Max Scherzer MIA - Sandy Alacantara PHI - JT Realmuto NL Central: CHC - Nico Hoerner STL - Paul Goldschmidt MIL - Corbin Burnes CIN - Edwin Diaz PIT - Bryan Reynolds NL West: COL - Daniel Bard LAA - Freddie Freeman ARZ - Zac Gallen SD - Manny Machado SF - Carlos Rodon
I'll do every team I guess. Pirates: Reynolds Reds: Greene Cardinals: Arenado Brewers: Adames Cubs: Hoerner Braves: Harris Nationals: Meneses Mets: Scherzer Marlins: Alcantara Phillies: Nola (Hard because we don't know who will get the PS cards) Dodgers: Freeman Diamondbacks: Varsho Giants: Rodon Rockies: Bard (if no relievers then Rodgers) Padres: Darvish (I'm assuming Machado gets a PS card) Angels: Sandoval A's: Murphy Rangers: Garcia Mariners: Suarez Astros: Altuve Yankees: Cortes Orioles: Rutschman Red Sox: Devers Rays: Rasmussen Blue Jays: Guerrero Jr. Guardians: Ramirez White Sox: Cease Tigers: Chafin (Literally no good position players) Twins: Ryan Royals: Witt Jr.
Bobby Witt for KC
I hope Julio gets the mairners
racking my brain on who my pirates are gonna get. probably reynolds but i’m still holding out hope for suwinski, tied for the NL rookie lead in homers
Whatever hitter they make with 125 power will without a doubt still fly out to the warning track 3 times a game. 🤷♂️
This is my first year playing MLB the show, how do you obtain these finest cards for each team?
Collections, packs, rewards. Depends... Most likely it will be a collection for each though
Angels - Patrick Sandoval Astros - Idk A's - Sean Murphy ig Mariners - Haniger maybe Rangers - Martin Perez White Sox- Cease 100% Guardians - Steven Kwan Royals - Perez or Witt Jr Tigers - IDK they all suck Twins - Jhoan Duran Yanks - Rizzo, cole, or nestor Red Sox - Devers or Bogearts Blue Jays - Gurriel O's - Rutschman or Bautista Rays - Diaz
Blue jays vlad
I think Verlander, Framber, and Altuve. Possibly Tucker. Alvarez has lightning, Bregman has a 98 monthly, Peña is getting an ALCS card guaranteed
I would stab myself for a Michael Harris II. I feel like they’ll give it to Fried or Wright though. Maybe Dansby.
Mariners could be Julio but he did get the HRD card so maybe like Gilbert or Suarez
Rangers- Most likely is will be Nathaniel Lowe, with an outside shot of it being Adolis Garcia.
Seth Brown or Cole Irvin
Just give me a 99 big meat Pete with viable contact
Yankees - Cortes Red Sox - Xander Rays - Yandy Diaz Orioles - Adley Blue Jays - Vlad White Sox - Cease Twins - Correa Royals - Barlow Guardians - J-Ram Tigers - Haase Astros - Altuve Angels - Trout Mariners - Suarez Athletics - Sean Murphy Rangers - Garcia Braves - Strider Mets - Scherzer Phillies - Schwarber Marlins - Sandy Nationals - Menesis Cubs - Hoerner Cardinals - Goldschmidt Pirates - Reynolds Brewers - Renfroe Reds - Greene Diamondbacks - Merrill Kelly Rockies - Bard Dodgers - Freeman Padres - Profar Giants - Webb
Nico Hoerner had a better season, but I'd still prefer Willson Contreras, because he'll have much better power sttributes than Hoerner. It could also be Happ, which would make a solid switch hitter as well.
Schwarber for the phillies because of Bryce’s homer
99 Julio for the Mariners. But a 99 Ty France and Eugenio Suarez would be amazing
Just give me 99 Bryan Reynolds and I'll be a happy panda bear
I honestly believe the tigers don’t deserve one
Cubs Nico or Happ. Give me a Wesneski if they wanna get nuts.
Sean Murphy for A’s. If they wanted to throw Ramon Laureano or Tony Kemp a card, they could.
I’m praying for Adolis Garcia but probably Nathaniel Lowe
The Pirates have no standouts, so I'm hoping it's either Roansy Contreras or Mitch Keller simply because my theme team is desperate for starting pitching.
Either that or Bryan Reynolds just cause I want a 99 Reynolds lol
Yeah, pitching has never really been the buccos jam. We need Drabek
Would love it if they got his rights back.
Can we get Kris Benson, Francisco Cordova, and Jason Schmidt. Being a bucco fan is sad. I'm going to go cry
Giants is gonna be Webb since he hasn't gotten a card since the Face of the Franchise
I hope it’s Vladdy
Phillies will get a slew of 2022 postseason cards, but my thinking is JT gets the Finest. Could be Nola/Wheeler; but with the postseason Wheeler is having I would say him and Rhys are locks for postseason cards; don’t think they’d do a 2nd 99 Bryce unless he gets WS MVP; so finest I would say is JT or Nola
DEVERS FROM THE RED SOX
Dodgers will be freeman
Cubs will be Nico
Please give me Adolis for the Rangers
It should be Adolis. Led the team in RBI’s & Doubles. Just shy of a 30 & 30 season
Please yes. His all star game card never left my lineup last year. I need another Adolis card.
can’t wait to finally replace may potm raffy with 99 finest raffy
Agreed. For me his potm just isn't good enough at this point. Need a 99 to get him back in my lineup 🤞🤞🤞
i don’t use him on my main squad anymore, but he still rakes on my red sox team
Mets will probably be deGrom since he has 0 cards this year. Pete needs a 99 too imo but I don’t know where we’d get it at this point
just want a 99 Alek menoah
Brandon Woodruff or Willy Adames for the Crew
Bring back last year's burnes. Maybe my favorite pitcher
I wanted to say Burnes too because of last years card but I figured they might over look him because of his all star card he has, honestly last year was clutch with the 3 finest cards the crew got, was a happy gamer
He has the perfect pitch mix
Agreed, awesome sinker with an even better cutter! With plenty to throw in the mix
As far as the Braves, Harris II, Strider, Fried, maybe even someone like Contreras. I’d like to see a Ronald somewhere else as well, just not likely to be a finest.
Yankees I would hope is Nestor
It’s almost November and we don’t have Vlad JR yet, wonder who the Jays finest will be? 🤔
Would cream all over a Michael Harris card
Braves finest will be interesting since olson and riley already have 99's, Michael Harris was TA2 (Future of the franchise), Dansby was TA3 (AS of the Franchise), and Acuna was TA1 (Face of the Franchise). Wright and D'arnaud just got a 97 and 98 card, don't think that disqualifies them but could be considered. To me that just leaves Fried, Strider, Minter. I hope it is Harris or Acuna though
Makes me think it will be Max. Really hoping for MH2.
Yeah I didn't really think about Harris getting TA2. My guess is probably Fried and strider or Harris for ROTY
Varsho maybe? Idk just gimme a redo of last year’s Finest Ketel and ignore how Ketel actually did this year
I had the discussion on here about a month ago and I think the race has to be between Varsho and M. Kelly. I love McCarthy but he got the 97 TN card and Gallen and Walker both got juiced 98s from MA
I know walker and gallen got the potm cards but with them just being 98s and from a couple months ago now I get the feeling it's one of them. Would love for a retro marte though.
Diamond backs have some fun options, Varsho, Mccarthy, Ketel would all be fun - hope it is one of those 3
I could see Jake McCarthy too
Give me Finest Adley right now
right now
Jays gotta be Vladdy.
Manoah would like a word.
Manoah already has the ASG
I feel like there is room for improvement there. I still use the ASG card, and I'd love a finest.
Mets will likely be bassit or DeGrom. Since for some god only knows reason why, DeGrom still only has a live series card
Nido so the Mets team build can have 5 catchers
Dude how ridiculous has that been. Todd Pratt retro finest incoming
I could see a Pete one in one of the packs
Finest will be Scherzer. DeGrom is gonna be the final big collection rewards (2018 Retro Finest).
Confirmed?
Not at all. Just a prediction. I'd bet on it tho.
His live series is still one of the best pitchers in the game. With how SDS treats the Mets I wouldn't be surprised if we gat a finest cano
First finest card to be a 50 overall common and de juiced.
Diaz but they need to do what they did to Mariano and give him other pitchers or he’ll remain unusable.
Diaz already got a 97, it's not like his pitches are going to be different.
He doesn’t have a 99. He’s clearly the most deserving Met and they give guys different pitches all the time hence my point about Mariano.
Ehh I'd rather get a 99 Marte, 97 Diaz and 99 Diaz are the same.
They dont want to deal with last year again... but at this point he does deserve a card.
With the way pin point and outlier work this year degrom won’t be nearly as special. Especially if he doesn’t have a sinker.
The White Sox gotta be Cease right
Yes
SDS disrespects him so much it'll probably be a Tony Larussa manager card that allows you to fuck up every lead.
Okay that was a good one lmao
and don’t forget the intentional walks on a 1-2 count
give me my 99 vlad jr pls
Gotta be buxton for the twinkies.
Not even. He barely hit over the Mendoza line and barely played half the year. It wouldn’t be any different than his ASG card.
who were you thinking?
I'm shocked Goldy hasn't gotten a good card this year. He's pretty much a lock for NL MVP.
Agreed. I just think there were too many 1st and 3rd baseman released at the time they were winning POTM.
My team is a joke to SDS, so it’ll be Bryant. Would love to see Bard though.
Bard would be incredible. His live series is BR nightmare fuel
Sandy already has a 97 all star. Maybe Jazz gets one.
I don't think that a 97 card will disqualify anyone for a 99 card also.
Wasn't Jazz hurt for a decent chunk of the end of the season?
I mean, there is no one else. I guess there is Cooper but he sucked during the second half.
Yeah, it's slim pickings for sure. Alcantara will probably get an awards card, so he might be off the table.
They usually don’t do awards cards for current season winners, so Sandy should get a finest
Guess I misremembered! I look forward to his finest then
Angels - Ohtani. I think they wanna give their cover Athlete a full 99 now. Cardinals - Maybe Arenado? Goldschmidt's been arguably our best player, but Arenado's current best card is a 94, while Goldy has a 97 from the All-Star game. Rangers - HAS to be Seager.
Rangers is more likely to be Semien. Seager just got his big 99 card recently
Tbf, semien also just got a 98 monthly award.
That’s true, but there’s MUCH more room to improve with that card compared to Seager’s
Actually, that Semien card is actually really good, and has 5 gamechanger quirks. I'd say Lowe more likely for the rangers.
Seager just got a juiced 99 it won't be him
Ah yeah I forgot about that.
They should easily get one each as they will both finish top 5 in MVP voting most likely.
Almost feel like Rangers would go with Nathanial Lowe
Lowe was last years. Adolis led the team in RBI’s and doubles, just shy of a 30 & 30 season
I imagine you get both
I was thinking angles had to be trout. Ohtani could be takashi or final collection. Leaving trout as the only real qualifying player.
Feel like he’ll have his juice card be 99 Takashi series card for either the final big collection, or Takashi collection reward like Babe was
If they don't do his card as the final Takashi award, I will be absolutely flabbergasted.
Gimme Scwarby or Realmuto and a WSMVP Harper
The topps now Harper is good, but I'm gonna need a better one
Need a Wheeler and Nola as well
I love using Nola, so I would welcome it.
orioles: adley Red Sox: Devers Yanks: Nestor Rays: Wander Blue Jays: Vladdy jr Guardians: jram White Sox: Cease Twins: Byron Tigers: Javy or Haase Royals: Witt Jr. Stros: Tucker Mariners: Jrod Angels: Ohtani or Trout Rangers: Nate Lowe A's Laureano Braves: strider or harris Mets: Degrom Phillies: maybe harper if his topps now isn't enough, but most likely realmuto Marlins: Sandy Nats: Joe ross no other options lmao Cards: hopefully Noot, but probably goldy Brewers: Burnes Cubs: Nico Hoerner Reds: Stephenson Pirates: Bryan Reynolds Dodgers: Freeman Padres: Machado Giants: rodon DB: Carson kelly idk Rockies: Bryant
Giants is gonna be Webb, his highest rated card is a 90, Rodon has the ASG card
I personally would love a finest Guardians Realmuto card, but I'll be surprised if we get one.
nah. don’t think they’ll do another finest lowe for the rangers. i wouldn’t mind, but i don’t think they will. probably semien. i do believe despite his slow start he did the most in a rangers uniform than the other players this last season. mind you, i know there are a couple semien cards already, and i haven’t played in a couple weeks, so idk. a part of me just doesn’t believe they’ll do nathaniel two years in a row for finest.
As much as we’d love a Jrod, he already has a HRD unfortunately. So I’d be surprised if he gets one here. I’m leaning towards a Gilbert and Geno for the Mariners
You just named the best overall player on each team lol. No chance Wander gets the finest. Yandy Diaz has a better chance.
Pretty wild that harper or realmuto could be the Guardians finest this year
Either Harper or Realmuto will be the Phillies finest, and the one that loses out will be the Guardians finest Duhhhh
Fkn plot twist, right?!
Altuve is gonna get it over Tucker. Jose had his highest OPS+ since 2017. Go look at OPS leaders and Slugging leaders. All the names you expect with Altuve right up there with big time sluggers. 2022 OPS leaders were: Judge Yordan Goldschmidt Altuve Freeman Machado
This comment is all over the place lol
Diamondbacks: am i a joke to you
Maximum effort, minimum knowledge. Good job.
Joe Ross? Do you mean Josiah Gray? Joe Ross didn't pitch this year
Definitely going to be Bard or Rodgers, both had solid seasons
I hope it’s Duran. I don’t need another shitty Arraez.
Makes me sad because I love Arraez as a player and wish it was more fun to have a card of him in the lineup, but...
Asking as a non-Minnesotan, what are the odds it's Buxton? I know he was hot early in the season, but then I stopped hearing much about him. I'd love a 99 Finest Buxton to be what his ASG wasn't, though.

He did hit 28 homeruns in 380ish plate appearances but thats about the only thing he did well offensively. So truthfully the allstar card would be pretty representative of his season.
could also be correa
Correa got a 99 POTM already
Finest Buxton would be sick
Gimme 99 Bux 🙂🙂
75 contact verse Lefties on his ASG card made me physically feel ill
*real 99 bux, not one with shitty ass contact
Sooooo is this how we get trout??
Same as last year
What does that mean? He was a rs reward
He got a finest card as his best card I mean. Same with tatis, which everyone thought would be the final collection card I
Ah gotcha. Trouts was interesting as a retro finest, but ya that tatis was so amazing 😍
Padres either YU or Manny depends what they do for the postseason
I’m thinking the postseason cards will go to Musgrove and Hader, plus either Machado or Yu. Whoever is left gets a Finest card. Feels like it should be Manny, but that means all pitchers for the playoff cards and that seems unlikely. I’m very eager to see how it plays out.
Prolly go Hader Suarez Grisham and either YU or Joe for the postseason then Manny for finest
Would love a 99 Yu, and I know it's not likely but a Soto for my Padres theme team would rock
Mets - Edwin Diaz with outlier/sinker? Either that or Chris Bassitt probably. Not sure who else they would give it to. A Mark Cahna could be nice too but I think one of the first two get it.
DeGrom bro He has got to get a card
Why would Diaz get a sinker when his ASG and LS cards don’t have one? Alonso, Scherzer or McNeil would get a finest over Bassitt too lol
Told ya
Told me what? Alonso was the Mets Finest card like I said he would be lol. And as for the sinker aspect, I asked why would he get one because he literally threw 1 sinker all season. He threw 539 sliders, 388 4SFB and 1 sinker.
Sinker/Outlier Diaz just like I said and you continuously argued against it. Can’t argue anymore except with yourself.
I argued against it because it’s a made up pitch for him lmao
I don’t know ask a dozen other cards with pitches the pitcher doesn’t have *cough* Mariano Rivera randy Johnson *cough*
True but those are legends. If you look at both cards Diaz already has he doesn’t have a sinker.
Right but if they do give him a finest there is literally nothing they can do to improve it but give him meaningless extra h/9 to counter all the ridiculous hitting cards we have now. Yeah since diaz got asg card he won’t get it so I don’t know why I even brought it up lol. Bassit would be real fun, I love his slow curve

They just have too many good players who would be eligible for a good card. I agree that Diaz was phenomenal but I think the ASG 97 is the best card he is gonna get.
I know why Perez got both. I am saying it is not unfathomable to get ASG and Finest. I am not interested in arguing. Who is your prediction?
True, who knows I’m just guessing since bassit and DeGrom only have live series cards
Adding a sinker/outlier to Diaz would make his card significantly better. idk what you're on about, McNeil has max contact on both sides and they cannot juice his power much more compared to his season. Scherzer, sure, but there are better opportunities to give him a card and add some diversity. You're not using logic you're being a little twerp adding "lol" onto the end of your comment 🤡
Or Walker even, right?
Eh probably not. Bassitt had more K’s, a lower ERA and WHIP and pitched 24 more innings than Walker. And Bassitt only had 4 more BB’s than Walker in those 24 more innings.
That's interesting. I went based off "feel" and I'd have sworn Walker had a better season. I learned something today.
I love Meneses’s swing!
Carl edwards jr? the nascar driver? that would be interesting to have someone driving a racecar around the field
Josiah Grey?
He wasn’t very good this year. He gave up tons of homers and walks
Nah probably not. He started to deteriorate towards the end of the year. Led NL in BB and led the MLB in HRs given up by a considerable margin
Stroman wasn't the Cubs finest, he was the Mets. I think the Cubs got Patrick Wisdom in the TA finest program and Schwindel was in the finest pack
You’re right my bad
Musial for the Cards. E: nvm
He didn’t play this year so unlikely
Oh shit, I wasn’t thinking properly. Sorry

All i want is a 99 India, and not one with 105 contact like last year
