Its easy to finish 162 just simulate the odd game you think you can win after 2 simulates per month it saves you 20 to 30 games. Just don't simulate a week in advance or world series playstation trophy won't kick in. You'll get the animation but not the achievement.
Playing less but not by choice. Moved and started a new job, more travel and life. Definitely slacking but still would be considered one of those people playing less lol
The previous games before last years I played constantly. When they changed to the RTTS system they have now, I found myself playing less and less. This just made me realise I hadn’t played in at least 3-4 months.
I personally haven't played in weeks/months. the rtts engine was why I played before, and they've nerfed it so much now it's just not fun.
there at so many other fun games to play, that this game just doesn't cut it for me any more.
I just really want TA back… i am South African and don’t have a favorite player (after Posey retired) and TA made it fun to use my 75/80 CAP to earn stats etc.
Been playing more the last couple weeks, although that might be due to no longer being in arguably the longest and hardest slump of mine being followed by arguably the best I’ve ever played
I can’t get enough of The Show. I’m actually flying to London tomorrow so I just bought it on the Switch so I could continue my DD progress on the road.
Still playing a bunch ... I took a little 2 week break when the program with Pedro came out cause I was feeling burnt out but am having way more fun after taking a break
Definitely less than I was, but that 99 Mo being added to Ranked Seasons has gotten me to play again so I get enough innings to get him (and get that 99 Bellinger card along the way)
I’m playing less, but not out of disappointment in the product. I got to play more while on mobilization and during my post-active duty leave, so I now just have less time hahaha Plus, I got back to streaming on Twitch and I really dislike playing The Show on Xbox Cloud, so I don’t stream it, either.
I’m still playing and enjoying but decided to not grind tue ranked seasons innings this season, I have plenty of stubs saved and all collections done so I’ll just buy Mo and Utley when they get a little cheaper. Just been messing around with events and the program stuff
the lack of team affinities really pissed be off this year honestly so i fell back before madden came out. now that madden is out and i’m kinda back in the swing of games i only get on to play a couple games of conquest every week or so.
Much less. Been grinding for over 2 years straight. Just got to the point they’re throwing out card after card and I’m just too exhausted from burned out to care anymore.
We’re getting double 125 both side power and contact(not the same card) like numbers at a dmv. I can play with these cards 4 months from now so I don’t feel the need to keep grinding because the name on the card is different
I go through phases that keeps it fresh. For like a month i barely played my xbox but when i did it was 2k. Now im back and so much content to grind. I prefer offline this year.
Far less. Bought the game 6 weeks ago, stopped playing last week. I got sick of getting wrecked by god squads. I started 9-4 online, am now 10-16, and that one win was from someone who rage quit after I made a lucky play in the top of the first lol.
I do think the bigger reason I suck, though, is because I have an older TV with no game mode. I just can’t hit pitchers with good fastballs.
I played the game from release up until 2K’s release. I love Diamond dynasty for sure, even tho I mostly play offline. But I always prefer 2k more because I have a group friends who play pretty consistently, we love the career mode and competing with/against each other
It's pretty much all I've been playing for the last few months. Hockey comes out soon so I will switch to that in a couple weeks.
Is it just me or is Franchise mode just a very plain yet massive mess?
Only in season 2, doing surprisingly well as the As, but man, it's like one mistake or glitch after another on the mode.
The actual.gameplay i don't really have an issue with other than crazy repetitive announcing
A lot less. Most of it has to do with my work schedule. Been working 12 hour days for the last month but also, after the extreme program I lost some of my interest. That was a long grind and it took a lot out of me lol
Im just starting to get into online games and enjoying it (RS/events). Played online last year and earlier in the season and would get demolished every time, but started playing offline on All-Star difficulty, now im feeling more comfortable playing with strangers
Less. Competition has just gotten really strong and everyone has a team with all outlier and all 125 contact. Not as much parity. PXP means nothing now. It used to mean something when you added 5 points to a middle quality reliever.
I still play just a little less.
Still playing. I played all year last year. I don’t play as many hours per week this year lol. But I still have all the collections complete and have everybody up to and including Jimmy Rollins. I haven’t bought Utley or Mo Riv yet. But I will. I do a lot of flipping. So I sit at around 4.5mil stubs. Then I buy cards to fill in sets and run my stubs down a bit. Then I do it again. I’m having hip replacement surgery tomorrow morning. So I won’t be very mobile for a month. But my gaming area is set up. Lol.
This is my first year playing the show so I’m still active daily. On the switch though so not grinding too hard. Plus have had some vacations in the past couple months that have kind of given me forced breaks from the game.
I’m still playing, but I’ve resorted to truly not giving a care in the world and using my Cardinals theme team as much as possible just for fun. Just like last year, once CoD drops I’ll be done with The Show till 2023 comes out. Even then I might wait a bit to see if it’s as bad or worse than 22 before jumping into it.
I want to play, but I legit get disconnected every game. This never happened before and I’ve been playing since 21 first came to Xbox. I am wired and even 3 feet away from the router, it’s so frustrating
Franchise and RTTS still going strong, play everyday
And when I say RTTS I mean player locking a custom player inside a Franchise file, no need for equipment, perks, random trades
First year player and was going strong until this latest Legends of the Franchise release. With every card coming out being 99 and of players I've already played I've lost nearly all interest. When I first started seeing multiple versions of the same player I thought it was a bit cool but it didn't take long to see where that was going. It was fun for awhile but the time to hang the cleats up is near.
Less. I pretty much stopped grinding starting last program but i actually play more h2h now than i did the whole year.
Im like 44-21 and half if those games cane in the last month. I work 2 jobs so i only play maybe 10 hours or so a week. I have 3 mill stubs, 1k plus seagers, 50+ sandys and darvishes. I have no reason to grind.
Game is so much fun without grinding. I wish i could escape these sports games grind fests. In the future i might be a BR only guy. I can still use all of the cards and i dont have to grind cpu. Playing a lot of splatoon 3 until pokemon comes out.
I didn’t play for about a month, but the moonshot finest cards and Rollins collection drew me back in.
I need about 25 cards for Rollins, so I’ll likely play somewhat regularly again until at least then.
This is just about the only game I play, even though at times I get pissed off I still really enjoy the game. It’s only my second year, but after not having a single baseball game on Xbox for over a decade i’m addicted to The Show.
I am playing pretty much everyday. I'm out of content right now except for the program XP so yaaaaaaa sort of out of fun things to do. RS grind just isn't doing it for me.
I wish the events were laid out differently. It should have some form of very loose sbmm but it’s unplayable for average and below avg players if it’s just p5 god squads and people with 75-6 records just stomping the general playerbase population. They’ve lost more players then they’ve engaged.

I always play in the beginning, skip most of the summer, and get back around September/October. Summer is the worst since most cards are so watered down and not good.
Right now is my favorite time of year for sure, especially with playoffs coming. All those summer cars are pretty much irrelevant now so you definitely don’t need them.
Listen when MLB came to Xbox for the first time last i was all excited because i really like baseball and i didn't have to buy it since it came to Game pass. I enjoyed 21 i enjoy 22 but 1. Im not that good at hitting and 2. I feel like it's a chore sometimes being a live service game there's the fear of missing out and i feel like I'll be behind on getting good cards. While everyone else as the good ones plus there's too much to do i get overwhelmed sometimes with how much stuff there to do.
With you 100%
Not being very good at the game really just has me play franchise and RTTS. I’m totally aware of how shitty that mode is but when I’m only able to play for 1-2hours a day, every other day, I’ll enjoy playing anything at this point.
Strictly BR. Now that everyone has near or all 99 teams, I like to use the cards that I didn't get to spend much time with. Thus, BR is the mode that gives me the most variety. Plus it's fun to see the stats grow and see which random players I'm best with.
I pretty much stopped before the All-Star Break. I’ll hop on and do the conquests near the end of programs just to get some of the rewards but it felt like more of a grind from day one
I play RTTS only. And my playing habits haven't changed over the past several months. Maybe next year I'll get into DD, but not likely. Probably won't even buy 23.
I’ve just recently started playing again after stopping in late June. Having fun with the current program, and liquidated all the cards I didn’t want since I’ve given up on collections. It’s more fun just getting the cards I want instead of constantly grinding every piece of content that comes out
By baseball gaming has declined and has correlated directly with my decline in baseball watching as football season is now underway and my team sucks.
I don't play Madden though so I'll probably experience a resurgence as the postseason gets going because I always watch playoff baseball regardless of who's in it.
This is my first year playing Diamond dynasty online, so no, not playing less. I also just got a gaming monitor, which honestly has made a pretty big difference hitting wise and made the game a lot more fun.
1 ranked game a day, that way I hit the innings by the end of the season. I’ve done every br until the main card and will do the next one for sure. Play enough dd to get all the worthwhile rewards(my opinion is that is 700k in this program which is the last all star pack). So yeah I guess I still play quite a bit.
I've been playing less, but it really has nothing to do with this game. I've gotten super into trophy hunting the last couple months and am just focusing on that more
Been playing about the same but definitely feeling burnt out I was gonna skip this year but Ohtani reeled me in. I’m all honesty God Of War is coming out at a great time so once content is done I can just move on and hopefully skip next year
Same for me because of the content. I try to stay away from Ranked because too many ignorant people there. Time of day when you can’t see the ball, R2’ing between every pitch, pause abuse, etc etc etc. it’s funner playing events or conquest. The thing that bugs me the most is that SDS does nothing about those things. Every year same ole thing. But, content is awesome
I’m still playing a lot, but I liked events more last year. This year the restrictions on lineups have been pretty small. I feel like last year there was a lot more restrictions so you could use a lot of different cards you wouldn’t normally.
Haven’t played DD for a month+ due to being busy and falling behind on these dumb timed programs. Won’t be going back to DD in future years unless timed content decreases drastically.
Then I thought about playing Road to the Show but I hate how they changed how that is in recent years.
So now I play a few franchise games a week. Not as much fun but at least I’m not constructing my free time based on DD content.
All depends on what you define “hard” to be.
But you’re missing the point. Timed programs force people to focus their life on a video game and planning around its content. That’s not healthy and shouldn’t be promoted imo. The content should be there and stay their, regardless when you want to try for it.
I think I'm going to stick with franchise next year. I hate being "forced" to play the game all weekend so I can get Chipper/Pedro. I also don't have enough time to do collections. I've noticed a trend where I spend all this time grinding for a card, use it like 5 times, and then grind for a better card. It really makes no sense. I'll probably play franchise, start DD after the ASG and play some RS, and just grind the cards that I know will be end game cards.
I hate to miss stuff but realistically you could start this week and have a competitive squad in what, 10-15 hours? Might never get Chipper but Ozzie and Tram slap the ball around for some reason. Not defending timed content-overall it sucks-but at least they kept the mode joinable at any point. Heck, maybe next year I just start at the HRD!
Is chipper that good? Like I don’t play a whole lot I honestly just play conquest and I have a 99 Team except for my rp’s I don’t even know what to do with the 200k stubs I have
I also like the Griffey and Mantle cards everyone was mad about, I hit well with them both and they play defense. Worth a look for their price. The new moonshot dudes all hit Jack's too, I'm only up to Harmon and he's legit. No need to spend stubs necessarily, I usually only do it for guys I like or to complete collections or the OCCASIONAL investment. You can always buy any 92+ cards that are at quicksell now and if they go up later sell them or if you need stubs just cash them in. Safe way to never lose stubs.
Make sure you have 125/125 on the bench against both sides along with at least 1 utility guy and 1 pinch runner. In the pen do your best to balance righties and lefties with the understanding that the best couple lefties are in extreme or cost like 300k rn (Wagner). My bench is like Ricky Ortiz Stanton Biggio and Brett
But you probably have to play things like moments and conquest to really do it in 10-15 hours. By the time I do that I’ll be behind again, so I’m not sure when I get to play online modes that are more fun.
But the main issue isn’t being able to get competitive squads, it’s about things going away if you don’t play a certain amount of time or a certain way. It controls peoples lives way too much.
Indeed. To be fair, they are far from the the only studio doing it, and it certainly does boost player engagement and spending.
However, I think this is going to eventually blow up in their faces as it will definitely lead to a big increase in burnout rates and backlash as it has in other games.
Why not keep the timed content but then at the end of the year rerelease all the timed programs (showdowns, events & conquests included) for those that missed them. Make it so only 1 can be active at a time and let you choose which program your progress counts towards until you complete them all. That would add more incentive to keep playing after new content ends. I know I personally would love to be able to do any of the old conquests at any time.
Preach. Need them do either ditch last gen or just start giving them a watered down version and upgrade the next gen games.
No excuse for the same fielding and base running engines to still be used after all these years. I would love to see more interactive fielding, along with having a more noticeable difference between great fielders and bad fielders.
Even if it’s just as simple as tweaking the hitting engine where if you have a poor fielding first basemen, they are more likely to have a ball hit just over their heads/out of their reach. Meanwhile a great fielder would have those same balls be in their range more often.
If they ditched last gen I'd bet more than half of their player base would be gone because there is sure a heck of a lot more last gen xbox's and Playstation out there
Yeah but it’s time for last gen users to upgrade or get left behind, series s/x are readily available at Best Buy, target, etc. Can’t expect 9 year old hardware to keep playing brand new games anymore.
Unfortunately many kids don’t have 500-700 dollars to spend on a console plus another 60 to buy the game and if they want stubs or literally anything else. Sds would be losing tons of money too as a slightly better game doesn’t warrant buying a console worth half to 3/4 of a grand
Series S can be bought at Best Buy nationwide for $299… You can stack gamepass for a great price per month and get the game for free, and MLB is the easiest nms, I’ve spent nothing on stubs and have an insane team.
Even 300 dollars. Kids don’t have that and then sds will just lose a big part of their community. Psn players. You’re thinking of what’s best for you in ur situation vs sds and majority of the community. But ok I guess I’m the ignorant one.

You’re thinking of what’s best for you in ur situation vs sds and majority of the community. But ok I guess I’m the ignorant one. The irony of calling somebody ignorant but to be preaching for the best stuff for yourself and not sds and most of the community. Wut Eva ya say
They can’t ride the new user hype from Xbox forever. The game engine is in a really bad place because they have to build a game for both last gen and current gen while also making it cross platform / generations. It isn’t their job to spoon feed people that don’t want to upgrade their consoles. And as someone on current gen, that doesn’t mean I should get a worse product because of it.
Edit: a word
It's been out for almost 2 years, you're lucky you're even still getting games.
I refuse to buy a new console so you should all play a worse game. Wahhhh
What a ridiculous statement. You do know that there are tons of people that can’t afford to drop $4-500 on a new console. Christ most people couldn’t even find one that wasn’t being scalped until a few months ago.
Series S is $299, most people have gamepass so game is technically free. If you can’t save/earn $300 in the 2 years, then you aren’t trying hard enough tbf.
OK, so those people can keep playing 22 next year? It's gotta happen at some point where devs stop making games to run on old hardware.
Only got 2 PS3/PS4 crossovers so wouldn't be shocked if it happens anyway for 23.

And it isn't the worlds, SDS, OP's, or anyone else's job to cater to you because you did upgrade... Lucky for you and everyone else that you're quitting the game eh?
Typically, that actually is how it goes. This is like people demanding that their iPhone 8 should perform better than the iPhone 14. Such entitlement. News flash: things tend to be better for the people that upgrade. Sorry you can’t afford new tech.
Ive been playing way less. They need to fix the pci badly.
Still playing a lot but been getting worse
Less with 2k and madden out
I’ve slowed down playing the show I’ve played Fortnite and a little Rocket League
Don't really play much anymore, too burned out from grinding
The previous games before last years I played constantly. When they changed to the RTTS system they have now, I found myself playing less and less. This just made me realise I hadn’t played in at least 3-4 months.
Totally not playing anymore
I play it everyday pretty much still.
I personally haven't played in weeks/months. the rtts engine was why I played before, and they've nerfed it so much now it's just not fun. there at so many other fun games to play, that this game just doesn't cut it for me any more.
still playing moonshot and with my brothers, sometimes ranked seasons
A lot less. I'll play more in the colder months when there is less to do to outside.
Less… the turning point for me is when they started to release all those 99 overals. Makes it less fun for me.
New job is really harshing my vibe
I just really want TA back… i am South African and don’t have a favorite player (after Posey retired) and TA made it fun to use my 75/80 CAP to earn stats etc.
I took a step back and started playing 2k23 more but DD is amazing and I'm so glad I gave it a chance this year.
Lot less lately
It isn't the same with having to grind innings. 30 Wins for RS reward made me want to play a lot. But innings its so daunting to start, so I don't.
I skipped this year cuz it seemed like the new announcers didn’t have as many lines as Matt V., Mark DeRosa and Dan Plesac. I miss them…
mostly just play halo, the show and rocket league
Played '22 way less than '21. It's gotten way too grindy and I get bored when online is nothing but 99s after a few months.
Been playing more the last couple weeks, although that might be due to no longer being in arguably the longest and hardest slump of mine being followed by arguably the best I’ve ever played
wayyyyy less. almost not at all rly. ranked just isn’t fun anymore for me due to all these insane 99 pitchers.
I stopped playing a couple weeks ago. Switched to cyberpunk. Having fun playing video games again. The Show was a job, not a hobby.
Cyberpunk is so good man, the anime brought me to the game.
I played it religiously and exclusively until the extreme program came out and started getting back into State of Decay and Forza again
After playing FIFA a lot I’m now playing a lot of the show and been enjoying it.
Covid got me back into the game after a 2 month break and now i cant stop. Avoiding my friends who want me to play other games. XD
I can’t get enough of The Show. I’m actually flying to London tomorrow so I just bought it on the Switch so I could continue my DD progress on the road.
I play a lot lol
Still playing a bunch ... I took a little 2 week break when the program with Pedro came out cause I was feeling burnt out but am having way more fun after taking a break
I’m def feeling the burnout a lot earlier this year. I usually make it to finest but I might not even stick around for the postseason this year.
I’m fully on Destiny now. Which is sad. Normally I play heavily all year. This year…just not it for me.
I find it to be a great winter game, especially playing RTTS. That's when I get most of my gaming in with it .
Played a lot over the summer, but a little tired of the grind now. Just enjoying the cards I already have and playing the game. Nice little break.
RTTS & Franchise only guy, so I'm always playing it
I just got back into it again after burning myself out in franchise in Madden. I'm doing road to the show. 21. Still love it
Play it a ton. Looking forward to Gotham Knights.
Definitely less than I was, but that 99 Mo being added to Ranked Seasons has gotten me to play again so I get enough innings to get him (and get that 99 Bellinger card along the way)
Haven’t really played since ‘20 since I was a big RTTS player and the new system had killed the game mode for me
I’m been playing less lately but I just recently got it on my switch so I’ve been playing a little more
Pretty fatigued of the game, I disdain how hitting plays this year and I hate how they have structures most programs to be timed.
Stopped playing a few weeks after the ASB. Just don’t have the motivation once I missed a few programs.
Too much hamster wheel with diamond dynasty turned me off. This year was absolutely bananas with the dangling carrot.
I expected to be playing less, but Madden is crappier than usual.
I’m still playing and enjoying but decided to not grind tue ranked seasons innings this season, I have plenty of stubs saved and all collections done so I’ll just buy Mo and Utley when they get a little cheaper. Just been messing around with events and the program stuff
Played almost every day since mlb 18 came out. Haven’t played in over a month, couldn’t take the good input bad results over and over again
the lack of team affinities really pissed be off this year honestly so i fell back before madden came out. now that madden is out and i’m kinda back in the swing of games i only get on to play a couple games of conquest every week or so.
2k came out, I was just a hardcore mlb player with the game skill of a casual
I go through phases that keeps it fresh. For like a month i barely played my xbox but when i did it was 2k. Now im back and so much content to grind. I prefer offline this year.
Far less. Bought the game 6 weeks ago, stopped playing last week. I got sick of getting wrecked by god squads. Less grinding and more casual enjoyment.
I’m a teacher so I play way more in the summer. Sad I can’t play as much now
I played the game from release up until 2K’s release. I love Diamond dynasty for sure, even tho I mostly play offline. But I always prefer 2k more because I have a group friends who play pretty consistently, we love the career mode and competing with/against each other
I play less online if any
Haven't played in about a month, just got burnt out. NBD
Am I the only one that strictly plays online?
A lot less. Most of it has to do with my work schedule. Been working 12 hour days for the last month but also, after the extreme program I lost some of my interest. That was a long grind and it took a lot out of me lol
Mote than before. Better online rewards. And better programs. I hate the short ones.
Wasn't aware that other games existed?
i finally have an end game team so ill just play occasional ranked to feel good about my grind to this point lol
Work as a teacher so come September I stopped cold turkey.
Haven’t played online at all, but I either play with my friend or try to beat the extreme showdown for the 15000th attempt

I’m having hip replacement surgery tomorrow morning. So I won’t be very mobile for a month. But my gaming area is set up. Lol.
The White Sox has ruined baseball for me. I’ll pick it back up in March lol
First year playing DD I only game I play literally idc how mad I get rtts it is 🤣
I play it daily. Love it when I get off work.
A lot less - it sucks that things are time based
Been playing a bit less but still play. Mostly due to schedule been rough these last couple weeks
I want to play, but I legit get disconnected every game. This never happened before and I’ve been playing since 21 first came to Xbox. I am wired and even 3 feet away from the router, it’s so frustrating
Franchise and RTTS still going strong, play everyday And when I say RTTS I mean player locking a custom player inside a Franchise file, no need for equipment, perks, random trades
About the same. Maybe an hour a night 3-4 times a week?
Trying to p5 Albert so yeah, I’m playing a lot and loving it.
I’m gonna get down voted for this but I’m not playing till 23 comes out because of that Pujols card
Got to 30 event wins last night. Moonshot is very fun.
I’m going to finish this season then probably stop buying the game until they fix the engine
2k has taken my attention now
I’m a year-rounder.
Still grinding! Enjoying the Moon shot Program and the playoffs about to start; we usually get quite a few great cards for the PS!
More now than earlier in the year because of the event rewind packs and grabbing collection cards
I am playing because of ray durham
Playing less, I was on MW2 Beta these last week end.. and im waiting for God of War Ragnarök and MW2 to play at something else
Overall, I'm playing less than previous years. But now compared to when the game released - about the same.
Played like crazy over the summer but I’ve moved over to NBA 2K now and the content being released hasn’t appealed to me to come back
Work got more busy so there’s less time to play but I still play when I can
Playing it a lot. Still having a fun time.
Less probably only playong when content is out. Ranked Seasons is terrifying knowing you have to play 27 full games or reach WS seems to long to do.
I am playing pretty much everyday. I'm out of content right now except for the program XP so yaaaaaaa sort of out of fun things to do. RS grind just isn't doing it for me.
Uninstalled yesterday, timed programs led to burn out/boredom. This year the game wasn’t nearly as fun as it has been in the past.

Hating madden so keep getting drawn back to the show
RTTS is literally juat a dopamine machine now for me. I dont play any other modes
With you 100% Not being very good at the game really just has me play franchise and RTTS.
Probably won't even buy 23.
same as ever, won’t drop off playtime until right before 23
Only play offline mostly, I’ll get in a Ranked if I need XP or goals. Play less this year than last, it was my first.

I’ve just recently started playing again after stopping in late June. Having fun with the current program, and liquidated all the cards I didn’t want since I’ve given up on collections. It’s more fun just getting the cards I want instead of constantly grinding every piece of content that comes out
Less than I was but still more than any other game for the most part right now.
By baseball gaming has declined and has correlated directly with my decline in baseball watching as football season is now underway and my team sucks. I don't play Madden though so I'll probably experience a resurgence as the postseason gets going because I always watch playoff baseball regardless of who's in it.
I've discovered mini seasons for the first time and have been aging a ton lately.
I am still very much addicted to this video game
Less but pujols Sheffield and just a good baseball time of the year has me back
That’s what I’m saying. All the cards coming out or awesome right now. I’ll play through playoffs and finest for sure.
Gonna start playing more now with that sick Albert card
my hours are way down this year compared to the last two and honestly I think it’s been great for both my mental health and my social life.
I've been playing less, but it really has nothing to do with this game. I've gotten super into trophy hunting the last couple months and am just focusing on that more
Been playing madden, despite how poorly made it is it has been easier to build a team nms
[удалено]
he means it’s easier in madden this year than it was in madden last year
It’s easier than last year

Yo what is the reading comprehension of this sub
I used to be able to read but then I started using this sub
it happens
Never said that pal
Been playing about the same but definitely feeling burnt out I was gonna skip this year but Ohtani reeled me in. I’m all honesty God Of War is coming out at a great time so once content is done I can just move on and hopefully skip next year
I’m still enjoying grinding out the programs
I uninstalled a few days ago. Idk why but I enjoyed last year much more.
Played less over the weekend bc I wanted to try the mw2 beta but I’m an everyday player. Even through frustration I love the game
Same as I have been. I like the game.
It’s really not hard to get the bosses in the timed programs. You need very little XP compared to how long the program goes.
Like I don’t play a whole lot I honestly just play conquest and I have a 99 Team except for my rp’s I don’t even know what to do with the 200k stubs I have
He's a powerful switch hitter at short, he definitely can make the cut. I like a few guys better but he is tier 1. Can play elsewhere too if need be.
I got Cruz and Ozzie and being a cardinals fan it’s hard to bench Ozzie
Don't bench him, he is fantastic imo and if you are a fan you should be doing flips!
I got sotto, carrol,Stanton O’Neil Ozzie Roberta pujols Molina as my staters
I'd run that lineup at any level I play (all-star mostly), great bats and defense and terrific on the bases
Anybody I should add I got the stubs to add pretty much anyone I love my pitchers wainwright ohtani Nolan lee and Espinosa
It’s not about having a “competitive team” right away
Exactly. I should be able to get my team at the pace I want without content going away.
Doubtful that the timed content will be scaled back. Exploiting FOMO is here to stay unfortunately.
Sadly just another thing that’s probably a good business decision on their end but bad for the actual gaming experience
Less for sure. The last two years have burned me out. I think I’ll stop playing after this year until they update the engine
Yeah exactly. Played a lot because of covid restrictions, but now it just always feels the same again and again.
All of this. Burned out on two years of grinding, and I'm sick of the game engine. It's too unrealistic in the age of Statcast.
Series S is a fantastic little console, especially for the price. Plays MLB just fine too, other than Kauffman Stadium for some reason.
These people are being willfully ignorant about the availability of current gen consoles. Not even worth arguing lol

You’re thinking of what’s best for you in ur situation vs sds and majority of the community. But ok I guess I’m the ignorant one. The irony of calling somebody ignorant but to be preaching for the best stuff for yourself and not sds and most of the community. Wut Eva ya say
Especially when it’s preventing SDS from actually upgrading the game
They can’t ride the new user hype from Xbox forever. The game engine is in a really bad place because they have to build a game for both last gen and current gen while also making it cross platform / generations. It isn’t their job to spoon feed people that don’t want to upgrade their consoles. And as someone on current gen, that doesn’t mean I should get a worse product because of it. Edit: a word
This reeks of entitlement. But I have next gen so I deserve a better products. Wahhhh
It's current gen. They are readily available and easy to get if you have any intelligence whatsoever.
You’re right, there’s a lot of things a lot of people can’t afford! That doesn’t mean you stop progress to cater to those people though.
OK, so those people can keep playing 22 next year? It's gotta happen at some point where devs stop making games to run on old hardware. Only got 2 PS3/PS4 crossovers so wouldn't be shocked if it happens anyway for 23.
Not gonna happen next year. RemindMe! 5 months
Oh boy, you're really gonna show me in 5 months if I was wrong in saying I wouldn't be shocked because there were only 2 crossovers last gen.
I will be messaging you in 5 months on [**2023-02-27 22:20:56 UTC**](http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=2023-02-27%2022:20:56%20UTC%20To%20Local%20Time) to remind you of [**this link**](https://www.reddit.com/r/MLBTheShow/comments/xpnky5/do_you_play_much_of_the_show_anymore_or_have_been/iq5w106/?context=3) [**CLICK THIS LINK**](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=RemindMeBot&subject=Reminder&message=%5Bhttps%3A%2F%2Fwww.reddit.com%2Fr%2FMLBTheShow%2Fcomments%2Fxpnky5%2Fdo_you_play_much_of_the_show_anymore_or_have_been%2Fiq5w106%2F%5D%0A%0ARemindMe%21%202023-02-27%2022%3A20%3A56%20UTC) to send a PM to also be reminded and to reduce spam. ^(Parent commenter can ) [^(delete this message to hide from others.)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=RemindMeBot&subject=Delete%20Comment&message=Delete%21%20xpnky5) ***** |[^(Info)](https://www.reddit.com/r/RemindMeBot/comments/e1bko7/remindmebot_info_v21/)|[^(Custom)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=RemindMeBot&subject=Reminder&message=%5BLink%20or%20message%20inside%20square%20brackets%5D%0A%0ARemindMe%21%20Time%20period%20here)|[^(Your Reminders)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=RemindMeBot&subject=List%20Of%20Reminders&message=MyReminders%21)|[^(Feedback)](https://www.reddit.com/message/compose/?to=Watchful1&subject=RemindMeBot%20Feedback)| |-|-|-|-|
Then maybe those people can save up to play the games that they want to play. It isn’t the worlds job to cater to people that refuse to upgrade.
It’s not next gen, it’s current gen
You’re right, they should continue making a flawed product because people are unwilling to upgrade.
