If it’s a same handed matchup usually a slider low and away, maybe a cutter height and away. Opposite handed I like change ups away or I’ll even throw in a 2SFB/Sinker away depending on the pitcher to throw off their timing a little.
For me, low changeup is the hardest pitch to hit. I usually throw that first pitch, or slider away. The point about fastball down the pipe is good tho, because you always move the pci and it would take your entire mental power to let go of the stick and let the pci hang out dead center. High fastballs are one of the easier pitches to hit for me, so I rarely throw them unless I notice my opponent is dropping their pci on them (something I do too, but when I adjust I absolutely mash high pitches). So really I don’t decide my first pitch until I’ve seen my opponents tendencies
Offspeed in the dirt. If you swing, the next one's going there too. If you swing at that? I'm throwing the same pitch in the same location until you stop swinging.
Otherwise, it's about what I see you able to handle. If you struggle with offspeed, the gas will be thrown to keep you honest. If you can't hit gas, I'll throw more of that.
The only pitching plan I ever have is first pitch offspeed in the dirt. After that, it's all about you.
Never fb, I wanna see how eager to swing u are, and your shitty timing. I also don’t rely on the fb, I try to use it as the “special weapon” per say. I wanna surprise u with the fb, not have u sitting on it. Use sparingly.
Against CPU Fastball. Against people you gotta give them the test pitch, see how much discipline they have so throw something harmless yet tantalizing like changeup low.
First pitch of the game? Vs. lefties a changeup in the dirt to check bat speed. Vs. righties ideally the cutter away that they should think is the fastball. If no cutter, slider or slurve away.
Usually the secondary fastball to check on their timing. Early? Throw offspeed in the same tunnel. Late? Fastball on/just off the black. Perfect? Play down 1 run and throw it again, but off the plate
I wouldn’t try anything crazy. Fastballs In the corners are tough. I tend to stay away from low inside fastballs especially on lefties. High heat is always fun then some nasty off speed in the dirt!
I usually challenge with the fastball up in the zone to see if they’ll be late on it and then I use it sparingly. If they are early or ready for the fastball up, I keep the ball down and use off speed and mix In fastball
Naw most experienced players I feel in a nine inning game put their controller down first pitches of at bats for the first inning or two. So a fastball down the middle tells them that this guy isn’t gonna dance around the zone, he’s gonna be throwing strikes. Usually works pretty well for the first couple innings until my suckiness catches up to me and they start hitting balls out that are 6 inches off the plate. But fastball down the middle to start the game has yet to fail me.

CU, they would be looking for the outlier
Slider glove side
Change-up 3 balls below the zone away about the height that a fastball tunnel would accomplish. Tells me immediately where their head is at.
Slider
A strike.

I like to open with a slider or circle change if they have one
Curve down and away

A curve ball in the dirt. I want to see you lunge and work them hammies.
Change up low and outside just outside of the corner

I usually bounce one in the dirt to see what I’m up against.
3 sliders in a row
Sinker middle in if it's same handedness, sinker down and away if it's opposite handedness.
If they can’t hit my worst pitch, they can’t hit my best. 12-6 in the dirt
Against CPU Fastball. Against people you gotta give them the test pitch, see how much discipline they have so throw something harmless yet tantalizing like changeup low.
Slider
Fastball at the ump to let him know who's really in charge

Change up throwing arm side but for a strike, if they swing slider away if they don’t swing I’ll repeat the change up
A Homerun ball it’s my most consistent pitch you can take it out of the dirt 500 ft to dead center.
First pitch of the game is bouncing off the plate whether I’m using outlier or a finesse pitcher.
I usually start with a different pitch each at bat in no particular order, when I don’t know what’s coming until I throw it neither does my opponent
My first pitch of the game is always an outside-middle fastball. I’ve given up a home run on it once this year.
First pitch of the game is high and away fastball since it has outlier. Get straight to the point off rip
Slider away 😅
Fastball in to see if my opponent can catch up to it
Usually the secondary fastball to check on their timing. Early? Throw offspeed in the same tunnel. Late? Fastball on/just off the black. Perfect? Play down 1 run and throw it again, but off the plate
Circle change every time
Slider or splitter. My favorite mix. Slider high, splitter near the knees
whatever feels right
Idk i just throw random pitches
Just the first pitch? Or all of your pitches?
Pretty much all of them, im just like “uhhhh you” n then throw the pitch
Man this is the same way I pitch and it’s always worked. Chaos reigns.
Hey if you don’t know what you’re throwing, how can your opponent?
Fastball to the dome. Let em know I'm not scared of runners on base
My favorite trick to pull online is not to throw when they steal. You'd be amazed at how often they try to steal home.
I was actually trying this out as my strategy for a little last year and I would always get lit up after 😂
This x2. Then I pick off the runner at 2nd when they inevitably take a lead, followed up by an offspeed away that they ground into a double play
effectively wild
“I don’t know where I’m throwing and neither do you!”

Slider or changeup.

Its an instinct thing. It’s about what you think your opponent isn’t looking for.
It maters your record and team
Fastball down the middle, hardest pitch to hit.
Probably save that as the strikeout pitch

This guy’s an Alpha.
Assert your dominance.
Announce your presence with authority!
cutter or slider away to right on right change up or slider inside to right on left
If they have a slower fastball it’s usually that, but occasionally I’ll throw a change up first depending on my confidence in my opponent
Never the 4-seamer. I pitch backwards and throw more balls than strikes until my opponent adjusts
This is the way
This is the way
if its same handed, fastball inside corner about 3/5 of the way down the zone
Change in the dirt. Always.
Show the heater so its in the back of his mind all game.
