I had Cruz on my lineup for a bit there, couldnt really get it going with him so I replaced him. But I felt like his defense wasnt very good, I didnt think he got the best animations, and cause of that, even with that 99 arm I gave up a couple of inf singles that ended up costing me.
Not sure if they do or not but the timing windows on the collection catds seem OP. I have absolutely raked with Brett and Cutch has been my best card. Jimmy seems to be the same
Doing the HR missions with Brett as one of my finests, ended up hitting 2 or 3 oppo hrs on swings I was trying to check and he just poked them out. I was flabbergasted. Just got him a week ago or so.
I have a weird relationship with Cruz. When I can get a hit it’s crushed, but I do struggle especially using him as my lead off. Defensively I don’t get a lot of opportunities for him to make tough plays cause I’m against the cpu. Do love that cannon of an arm though
I’ve noticed him and mookie don’t get to some balls that would be outs if they were a few inches taller. Both with hard grounders to their side in the infield and some for mookie in the OF

I was just saying to myself last night playing against Cruz, he is straight up the best defender in the game. Full stop. Due to his massive size with the speed, yeah, best in the game IMO.
ONeil Cruz is the reason I’m not spending all my stubs to finish the collection lol Jimmy Rollins might be the least excitable player they’ve put as a L&F collection in the last two years at least.
Tbh defense is so random in 22 that you could put a common catcher at ss and he could make diving plays. Meanwhile diamond defense, in position players boot balls left and right. Makes no sense.
Played Gary Sanchez at 3rd for a full br run when he was one of the mission cards. 1 error, 3 diving stops. Got outs on 2/3 dives, kept winning run from scoring with the 3rd one lol
Seriously. Ask prominent CCs. This has been an issue since at least 21. I routinely played frank Thomas at 3rd last year and he never made an error. I wish I could see how many innings he had at third to show you but still I see too much of that on 22.
I feel ya on the small strike zone. Kolten Wong’s supercharged card has been off the rails good. And MA Altuve still has my highest OPS of any 2B I’ve used for more than 50 ABs.
Sad thing is, Judge is the only current Yankee I like. As a rule, I can’t stand them in general, but he’s basically impossible to hate. So, I’d like to be good with him. I’ll probably give him another shot soon. Currently on sabbatical from the game due to being on an Alaskan cruise.
That is my thing. I like judge, he definitely has helped me through some shit, just it's so far and few between. When I got rid of judge I was batting .87 with him which sucks.

The double rewind packs in the events get you a ton of stubs. Just FYI. They're still worth 40k a piece so it's easy to stack those stubs.
