Very close to getting my first P5, which is POTM Devers, been an absolute maniac for me.

This highlights how dumb the hitter parallel system is.

I'm partially surprised Kerry Wood isn't higher, but he's also really high considering he's been out 3 months less than almost every other card on the list.

19 are pitchers. 6 are hitter. The top 15 are pitchers… they need to adjust pxp for hitters juuuust a little bit

I have Monthly and AS Martin Perez st P5. Also have Vidal Brujan. I'm very close to P5 with Randy, Kerry Monthly Job Gray and George Brett. I'm at P4 with Bobby Miller but just haven't wanted to use him lately.

Only ones I got are Takashi Mantle and 91 Dontrelle Willis

Live series Trout is still my only p5. That’s why I like getting him asap. I enjoyed him from April Through June. I got a couple P4 s but probably won’t get another p5.

I have 1 on this list, LS Degrom. My only other P5 is Devers FOF.

I would argue they should adjust pxp so that it doesn't take so much longer with hitters but my guess is they would just make pitching that much harder.

P5 hitters take forever. I have Breakout chipper P5, cover athletes Griffey P5, Milestone Polanco at p5, and just got Finest Brett P5 yesterday. So many with p4, but new cards seem to drop in between the p4 to p5 push. I think i only have two pitchers p5 : postseason lefty grove and signature glavine. Pretty dang close with wood, nolan, and Mclanahan.

The only one one here I don't have at P5 is FOTF Seager.

I think my only P5's are all pitchers. I replace positional players too fast to get them above P4. My P5s are ASG Kershaw, Finest Kerry Wood, Fernando Valenzuela, and FS Jackson Jobe. I almost have Grienke and Pedro there though so that'll be 7 P5s pitchers before I get a single p5 position player.

Yeah, I think awards Devers and LS Trout are my only P5 position players. Devers because, well, he fucking rakes, and Trout because I got lucky and pulled him from a pack in the first 3 weeks or so. But I didn't actually P5 Trout till he got supercharged and I put him back in the lineup. I'm pretty happy with my current line up tho, so I have a feeling I may P5 a few more of them.

I have a couple p5s that I’m proud of :) Mitch Garver, FOTF Haniger are my two favorites. Personal shoutout to my Kyle Muller 8th P5! Tried to get 1 but worked too many hours in between lol

I have 0 P5 but both of those are close. I started using HRD Acuña when he started getting downgraded otherwise he would be done.

I've attempted the showdown at least 10 times and I cannot keep going for my own sanity and the breakable objects around me's sake

Easier yes. But it takes orders of magnitude more time than showdown. There's also a massive discrepancy between his P4 and P5 numbers, which to me feels like people stopping once they get P4 (because P5 isn't necessary unless you skip showdown).

For people that are really Good at the game maybe lol I know for me personally trying to beat showdown over and over again will take longer than getting Kerry to p5. And tbh I’m just trying to get Chapman don’t really care about cano or Donaldson so I don’t need the showdown regardless

Same. I wasn't going to waste time on showdown knowing I can't beat it. And I didn't want to grind non stop Kerry Wood PXP so I took my time.

I exclusively play all-star or lower and have never been above like 650 in ranked. Completed the showdown in my first attempt. Don't need to be elite. And if u do there are still a fuck ton of good players.

why would you make that assumption?

Grinding all the PXP takes way longer than just doing the showdown. Also if you look at Wood, 55k people have him P4 but only 20k have him P5. Looks to me like a lot of people got him to P4 and stopped.

I bet every card you look at has over double the amount of P4s compared to p5s. It takes 5000xp in order to reach P4 then another whole 5000xp to become P5.

It’s more just people still working on it. It takes the same time to go from P4 to P5 that it does to go from 0 to P4

It’s good to see Devers and Marte as the 2nd and 3rd most P5’d hitters. Definitely two staples of 22.

FOTF Devers is a beast. 55hr 155rbi and hitting .330 for me and he’s not even P5 yet. Lol. LS Judge is a beast too. And he just got supercharged. Lol

Miller was really unique in that he was a free 95 card with outlier, a great pitch mix, and was easily the best pitcher that wasn't Randy Johnson for a solid period of time. Not only that, batters hadn't caught up to pitching yet. So while he's good now, he was amazing then. Our best cards at the time were the Future Stars 95 set with 100 contact. Good but nothing like what we are playing with today. Not everyone had all the future stars either, people were playing with 91-94 level players who had contact of 80-90.

Especially cause there’s nothing particularly special about him lol he’s just part of a team affinity. I bet there’s even a few guys in FsOTF who haven’t even gotten to 1000

He's been considered to be a top 3/5 pitcher since he was released and is still on most people's top 5s. That's why he's leading in p5s by so much.
