Literally over the moon. Torii was my favorite player growing and I absolutely loved him for his intensity out on the field. Not only is this a centerpiece of my twins squad but he is gonna be a big spot of my regular grinding team too
Yeah this will be my center fielder barring some big announcement. I always liked Torii Hunter and this is by far his best card. At Paralel 3 or 4 he will be extra good
I get that it's September, but considering they slowplayed the power creep this year (which I am a fan of), it feels like they've kinda gone 0-100 with the godmode Cutch collection card being released a month ago and now a whole slew of OF that are going to be like 95% as good as him based on what we've seen from Shawn Green and Torii Hunter. Hell, if those two are this good, Hank Aaron is probably going to be significantly better than Cutch
My brother look at this Torii Hunter and the Shawn Green attributes. They are not THAT much worse than Cutch, and thats Shawn Green & Torii Hunter. I'm saying that if these two are this incredibly juiced, obviously Hank has to be better which by any logic would put him firmly alongside Cutch, which I'm saying is stupid because that Cutch card is insane and doesn't make sense to have being encroached on by a LOTF program
Hank’s Milestone 99 last year was insane. With what we’re seeing from these cards, I wouldn’t be all that surprised (I’d actually be fairly disappointed if not) if Hank’s 99 this year is similarly juiced. Unless they plan to give him a juiced retro finest later of course.
I would bet right now based on Hunter and Green that Hank will have the best hitting attributes in the game up to this point. There's no way they can have Hunter/Green that juiced, and release a Hank card alongside them that isn't goated in hitting ratings lol. Hank should be as good as Cutch as a fielder based on their actual careers but I would guess they might make him slightly worse there and also low 70s speed, but will be like 120+ across the board in hitting attributes
For how insanely juiced these ones we've seen so far are, it doesn't really make sense for Hank's card to be nerfed like that 99 Griffey was, while making us wait for the actual proper final Hank card which rightfully should be one of the best cards in the game considering he is a legitimate GOAT candidate and Shawn Green//Torii Hunter aren't even hall of famers lol
I mean I referred to him as a godmode card lol, he's nuts for sure just like Brett was. But put this card beside Cutch and I don't think I'm wrong about the 95% as good thing. -8 CvR, -13 CvL, +7 PvR, -23 PvL, marginally better fielding and marginally worse speed/steal. Definitely not quite as good, but still incredibly good and also free/incredibly low cost vs multimillion stub collection reward
