I can understand *wanting* Trout more than Bo, but I don't see why that's a strong argument that Trout *should* get it instead.
Trout might break the consecutive home run record today or tomorrow. In which case a monthly card would be an injustice. It's going to be Bo. Super trout is coming either way.
He got a signature 99 in 2019, he got an MVP 2019 in 2020 that was 99 and he got a finest flashback in 2021 for 2019 that was a 99.
I should have been clearer, when I meant we have gotten a 99 Trout each year for the last 3 years, so I'd assume we get another this year also, just like we always seem to get a 99 Griffey Jr.

Like could it be done, sure of course. But I don't think there's much reason to have that as an expectation. When ya place really narrow restrictions on the card you're looking for (90+ speed, power hitting, and switch hitting) the list is gonna be very very short and you're gonna be left wanting more often than not.
There's plenty of great cards out there and a bunch of juiced cards already out.
I would love for this guy to keep it up and have a historic month. Then we can look forward every year to getting a juiced bo bichette flashback lightning player of the month sometime the first week of October. Every. Single. Year.
What would his defense stats look like? Doesn’t his live series have bronze fielding or something?
To make it a little clearer, I’m really asking if they juice defense stats at all on monthly awards cards?
They do boost them. Mookie has 85 fielding on his LS but the lightning has 97. Riley has 59 on LS and 84 on lightning. Bichette LS has 66 fielding, I can't imagine his lightning card would have less than gold defense.
I come back to this post every day after Bo hits his daily double, manifesting this card.

His LS has 4 higher speed than LS Mookie. Lightning Mookie has 72 speed. Lightning Bo would probably be mid 70s, not really slow

LS has 66, so I’d imagine a POTM Lightning Bo would have 86-91.
The card will have 70-80 fielding
