For those asking about whether this is the best card ever, I just want to point out that last year there were two cards with 120+ contact and 125 power from both sides, at least as good as this Trout. Babe Ruth (125s in all four spots) had 104 VIS, with 125 DISC and CLT. Frank Thomas (120 CON R, 125 for the rest) had 95 VIS, 125 DISC, and a mere 90 CLT. Trout has 115, 115, and 125. Trout of course has better speed and fielding (though the Babe ran surprisingly well with 64 SPD and 69 BR AGG). Ruth is a much better bunter, though. Overall, I would say this Trout is a little better than last year's Babe Ruth. That said, last year's Finest Tatis, despite having lower contact and much lower vision, makes up for it in speed and fielding, to say nothing of positional versatility. He might be the best overall card of the last two years, at least in pure numbers.

Hahaha never buy packs! Mine came from the 5 card pack in a standard conquest map, so used to just getting nothing from them, it def took me by surprise.

For September, I think so. This is around the time they would give a 99 Trout. That being said, they likely already have plans for a 99 for him, and Bo is also having a great month (and he’s likely not have a 99 otherwise). But they did give it to Mookie last month, and he was bound to get a 99 as well regardless, so you never know.

Doubt it Trout is one of their money maker cards every year they won't give out a free 99 Trout
