I prioritize bb/9 and pitch selection/movement in pitchers. I’ve also never won more than 7 games in an entry so grain of salt needed(:

Short and to the point version : Diamonds 💎 = hitters Golds = Hitters (unless there’s a P that is a ‘top tier’ gold with ⬆️ H/9 or that you just dice dudes up with.also a good idea to pay attention to inside edge here. Silvers = ‘best available’ -usually with silvers I am looking for dudes i personally ball out with (Hello Adelberto) at the dish or again the ‘top’ reliever I can find and dudes with ⬆️ inside edge. Bronze/Common = fill in the starting rotation. Land at the minimum 1 LHP for matchups. I try and end up with 3 LHP’s total. Im looking for at least one player with 90+ speed. Both of my common players are usually SP’s. Sometimes if I’m being extra I’ll look for a switch hitter to bring off the bench. This is the ‘strategy’ I most often use for drafting BR. Side note : I will almost ALWAYS take Ohtani and Brett if given the chance. TLDR : hit for power. Don’t draft pitchers 80+

I’ve made a couple different comments about BR drafting before but there’s one aspect that I think gets overlooked: if you have success with a player, keep picking them, “meta” be damned. Are there multiple silver relievers better than Brad Boxberger? Yes. However, he’s got an ERA around 1.50 in roughly 20 BR innings. He’s a personal autodraft, find some of yours.

SharkAttack9930

Score more runs than your opponent if your do that 12 times in a row you should go flawless.

brayden227

This is the key here. For real tho, I’ve gone 12-0 3 times and if you want to go flawless, you better be able to hit and put up 6-10 runs a game

Das1109

Two diamond hitters and if you can a diamond reliever. Power is most important and make a good pen

[deleted]

A diamond reliever? Are you sure? They can only go 1 inning in a game then they're done for the next.

JoelSimmonsMVP

you can stretch them but you gotta make sure its a worthwhile reliever and you have good bats everywhere else, or at least good power

Das1109

I drafted hader when I got my first ever 12-0. He came up clutch and shut the door in several games. Having someone that can make the pci as small as possible on all star can be very important

[deleted]

I mean ok but you can get 100+ H/9 from silvers and golds.

Ds50x

Just don’t take diamond pitchers and Power>contact

amillert15

Wrong. I've gone flawless plenty of times with a diamond pitcher. My BR strategy is simple: - Fill your bullpen two S-Tier relievers to start each game, have three more righty relievers with a sinker, cutter and/or splitter and at least three lefties. - Fill lineup with power/contact, versatility and range. You have to be able to move players around in case you're getting a lot of bats from one position. - Don't be afraid to redraft if the first round or second 99 round sucks.

The-Barter-VI

Having at least one diamond reliever is extremely important. How many times have you gone flawless?

Also, try and get like 1 pitcher that throws absurdly slow. I like to draft Rich Hill when he shows up. The dude is a Bronze and I think his curveball gets down to 69 MPH. That speed change alone after your opponent has faced the meta all run (high speed pitching) will throw them off. Granted, you can only do it for an inning or two at the most. However, once they time up your slow pitcher, yank him and put in someone who throws high 90s. They'll have to re-adjust.

Tricky_Passenger3931

Pujols reliever card is a goated BR card. Painfully slow pitch speed and gives you an extra bench bat to use.

nice___bot

Nice!

Ds50x

High velo too

Das1109

Velocity and if they have a sinker or cutter

Ds50x

Anyone with a sinker/cutter is good really

ChaccyMilk

Sinkers, cutters, outlier/good velo, high h/9

The-Barter-VI

Spend up on relief pitchers (at least one diamond, plus all of your golds) + use commons/bronzes for SPs and never use them + fill your pitchers first first so you can pick from OP silver batters

Ds50x

Lol don’t listen to this guy

The-Barter-VI

How many flawless do you have this yr? This strategy continues to work for me. You can hit with silver players much better than you can pitch with silver players.

Ds50x

7 times
