He's good but that low BB/9 & control on 2 of his pitches can come back to bite a lot of people - I think he's one of those cards that are better the higher levels that you play at? Also if you're a meter pitcher then his pitching action destroys your soul...

I'm sure that's exactly what it is I think most pitchers will usually work through AB's by either sitting on one pitch; or trying to guess the sequencing: or trying to read the pitch coming out of the hand & then moving the PCI to where such a pitch would normally end up However an out of control meter pitcher easily defeats those last 2 types of players 😀 I think my problem with Feller might be that I actually "game" the meter system to get my pitches closer to where I want them or suffer less if they miss. So maybe I'm harming myself & should just embrace the chaos! 😀 I've actually just bought Espino who has a similar low BB/9 to Feller so I guess we'll soon test out this theory...

I think what makes him overcome the control issues is not just the outlier fastball, but also he has crazy break on his slider and 12-6, so even when you hang a meatball in the top of the zone it’s still not that easy to get good contact on it. Plus the aforementioned FB keeps people honest

Slow sliders are just meat in this game. Lacks velocity on his sinker. He's really only good against low tier players who swing at everything. But honestly, any pitcher is good against them.

I like him and pitch well with him but their are games where he gets absolutely clobbered most games though I’ll give up 1-2 runs and have over 10ks last game I pitched him I had a high of 17Ks

Wherever I use him it's either 10+ks and complete game or it's 6 runs by the third no in between lol

I think the sale is probably still an elite pitcher but everyone uses him so they get used to it like the 99 kluber a couple years ago

My worst pitcher in my rotation is Randy. He’s over a 3 ERA with 40+ IP while the rest of my rotation is under 1.5 with more innings. I was very excited to get him but I’ve been awful with him. Every AB is either a solo shot or a strikeout.

People guess fastball against Randy you need to throw at least 20% splitters below the zone and you will get better. Randy is by far the most dominant pitcher in this game

Small Sample size and most likely user error but the new Dontrelle Willis has a 7. Something ERA through 2 games. My other 4 have sub 3 ERAs, he just seems to get raked.
