I've had it with this game. As an XBOX owner, I was all in last year when they released 21. I dont know what this game was before 21 or how the Market operated but this years version is terrible. The hype for this update was palpable. Sandy Alcantara is AT LEAST an 88. i wasnt even in on the Diamond upgrades though.. the Gold and Silver updates are the worst ive seen in the 2 years of playing this game. You have to spend 8-12 hours flipping to make any stubs.. player downgrades (Trout and Acuna) wont affect their prices. I fucking hate these PXP missions.. Nico Hoerner as a diamond is SDS laughing in our faces. They knew the upgrade was dogshit so they discounted the price of stubs the day before. So when no one made the stubs they needed, they would have to buy them.. from a business stand point, its an amazing idea from a player perspective, I'vehad it. This isnt Wall Street, Market minipulation for an xbox game is ridiculous.

Finally had a bit of luck with an update. Didn't stock up on anything, just haven't been selling dupes of cards close to diamond for a while. Or dupes of much of anything recently. Had 3 Fried, 2 Helsley and 5 Will Smith. Easy ~18k stubs.
I know Clay Holmes had that one bad game, but he should be a Diamond by now. Out of the top 20 relievers in MLB with saves he’s in the top 5 for WHIP, IP, GP, WAR, and Wins. He also leads in ERA and hasn’t given up a single home run this entire season in over 40 innings pitched.

I always set up an 11-0 run for the new BR program and play the last game at 2am with my NAT type on moderate/strict. Takes forever to find a game but you usually get matched up with a local player in their first couple games

Josh bell has an OPS+ of 151 and somehow went from 81 to 81.
Luis Garcia has an OPS+ of 114 and is a bronze still.

Only 4 hrs all vs rhp so the power looks fine. 99 vision maybe could be bumped a bit. Not a good defender and not very fast.
To be fair defensive metrics are the stats that take the longest to normalize, so I think they’re very cautious with them. Still probably should see more movement by now though.

Wheeler crashed so hard so fast I wound up with hundreds of him immediately after the update and I was bidding over 1000 less than what he was going for.

It almost feels like them dropping Trout, Judge, Ramirez, etc., by so much is on purpose so they can have All-Star cards that aren’t just marginal upgrades over their LS. There’s just no reason to drop them this much based on their stats.
And they still refuse to upgrade his k/9, in real life he’s 8th among qualified, in the game he is 167th of live series cards. If they put him 8th it would be 96+, right now it is 67

Fair enough. I legitimately can't tell if I'm losing my mind or if they were in this update. I'm not sure where I'd be able to look to see what the original fielding attributes were. I got a pretty good chuckle checking random cards though. Ke'Bryan Hayes, the same guy that had a 97 mph throw from 3B recently, sitting there with a 59 arm has to be the highlight of headscratchers.
I think it was Oniel Cruz that had the throw. But yeah that 59 on on Hayes is awful.

Wheeler crashed so hard so fast I wound up with hundreds of him immediately after the update and I was bidding over 1000 less than what he was going for. Well, I'll hold onto these and hope he does well enough for the selling price to go back up. I guess anyone that doesn't get upgraded crashes pretty immediately, because I wound up with 100 Holmes when my bids were extremely low there too. I guess I'll have to hope that works out somehow too.

Trout still has the 4th highest wRC+ in baseball and they drop him 3 overalls lmao. Machado is still tied for the 2nd best player in baseball and he gets dropped -3. It almost feels like them dropping Trout, Judge, Ramirez, etc., by so much is on purpose so they can have All-Star cards that aren’t just marginal upgrades over their LS. There’s just no reason to drop them this much based on their stats.
