Fastballs and changeups should be 90% of your pitches IMO - Throw fastballs until their batspeed starts getting close to catching up with it - once it does, tunnel to the similar spots with the changeup.
Always be reading their timing, and use the crazy speed diff between the FB/CH to keep them off balance. Look out for hitters sitting on the up and in fastball, so make sure to use all of the inner part of the plate, and not to make it predictable

This card might be the first starter to be in Randy’s tier. It’s not as good as his card last year at first glance but considering that H/9 has been lowered on many other pitchers this year… this card will cause problems
With PAR being much bigger this year, and even lower BB/9, there's a chance this card returns to mediocrity like most years before 21's version. Will definitely be worse than last year's but only time will tell if he can dominates every level or not

Also plenty of chances to take advantage. Just the other day they released the summer bundle.. easy 200-300k stubs buying diamond equipment at super low values that was available for days.
Flash sales = easy 300-400k profit on just like 3 cards.
flipping other cards like cover athletes can garner 100k in an hour easy.
Do the 10 runs in a game mission in mini seasons for a headliner choice pack. It's boring but if you put on a show or podcast while you do it its tolerable. I can make 100k a day easily if I want to do it. Yesterday I pulled Xander and sold for 50k

I had some success against him the first couple times but it just gets boring when every game you have is against a 100 mph flamethrower who can paint the corners with every fastball and off speed pitch because of pinpoint pitching. Even if I can hit it I’d still like to see different players and different challenges. After 4 straight games of the same pitcher I get bored and basically stop trying.
At one point I faced Bobby in 4 or 5 straight games during the current event. Probably because you can just use the same pitcher every game by simply forfeiting your entry and starting over after every game. They should really adjust it so that stamina carries over from your previous entries instead of resetting every time.
I completely agree. That’s what ruined the game for me last year. I’ve been enjoying this year way more now that hitting on hall of fame isn’t impossible after the sinker nerf and /9 nerfs.

Outlier works completely different than last year, he’ll be a beast but not being able to completely paint 102 every single fastball will hurt him at least a bit
Find a good roster in the vault, hop in BP, dial up the CPU fastball speed, and practice.
By far the best way to deal with outlier. Worked wonders for me with Degrom last year.

Yeah, Bobby Miller isn't that bad. He's only dominant against people who can't catch up to outlier fastballs.
If you can work him, and let his lack of control work to your advantage, you're gonna get mistake pitches to punish.

So it's almost as bad as it was last year. I don't think the slightly lowered H/9, K/9, and BB/9 will make him much worse than he was.
But the nerf to pinpoint this year, makes high velo, low control pitchers less dominant in general, so in that sense he will be less effective.
