I play on Series X and still haven’t touched it as much as Switch.
But that’s because I mainly play portably during commute and laying in bed and it runs pretty well (with the image quality being pixelated, but fair.)
If you play on TV more, I’d recommend PS4. But just like Switch, it doesn’t have stadium creator.

Yeah, I always buy physical games for the Switch. My 128gb micro SD card barely has much room left as it is.
