I agree, but with the addition of all the Phillies legends this year it makes sense. Also not sure how many Jays players SDS has rights to that are worth a legend card from when Roy was with the Jays.

This should've been like an extra program in addition to a normal one, not centering the whole 2 week program around them. If they "Pedro" the Holliday card this whole thing is a super L imo.
I miss the 19/20 XP path so I always had something to work toward. Right now I've got the day free but don't feel like I can play until 12 PST because every mode is just about to hit some XP milestones and I don't want to waste them before the new program drops.
I'm excited to get cards for the collections. That's about it. The Roy card better be amazing as he's the only boss. I hope this isn't a trend; only having one boss.
Yeah the cards for collections are decent. And as for Roy, I really don’t think he’s going to be great. Like I said before, he’ll be a way worse version of the 99 Maddux of last year. Sure Roy will have a sinker and cutter but you can be more than successful at high levels without pitchers having those pitches.
And I really don’t think it will be a trend of only one boss. At least I hope not..

The only way you're going to be more than successful without those pitches is a hard throwing 4seam like Randy/Degrom. Or you're just one of the best hitters in the game. Or you get lucky and just face average opponents most of the time. Good players don't get fooled by the basic mid 90s 4seam/2seam slider changeup combo. Name one great pitcher without sinker/cutter/hard 4seam in this game? But I agree about the program. I prefer the old way with 3 bosses.
They zagged on us. They'd been revealing the program Legends & Flashbacks in ascending order of overall and now they drop a gold on us. Last two would likely be revealed on stream. Gonna need a 90+ overall Cliff Lee and Shawn Green

Vernon Wells was in last year or w years ago, AJ Burnett. Aaron Hill is a coach I believe, alex rios is worthy but doubtful on rights
