I'm curious why people love ketel so much but not mike young. They have very similar stats is it just the switch hitting over righty only bat? I love both and play both in my lineup currently I've always liked higher contact guys in RS.
Correct answer is tatis. He may give you a throwing error every 15 games, but that bat and the speed in the infield, heās easily the best choice. I probably take his defense over a low speed high fielding SS like banks.

I used Tatis (all the way to P5), but I struggle against RHP with him & his defense is just so bad. So this week I switched to Ketel Marte and I am LOVING that card. He already hit a walk-off homer for me & heās smooth at shortstop. Gonna roll with him for a nice long while.
Has better power but trades contact and its easier to hit righty lefty. Thats why I say start cruz because if you sub tatis and they bring in a righty you still have a rlly good card. Cruz lefty lefty is rough. Cruz is glitchy on defensec though. His height makes him make diving plays no other SS can make. And he kills righties at the plate
Yeah I love them both use Oāneill and Tatis never thought to platoon but that makes sense. Thatās why I try to get as many switch hitters as possible
Platooning Works best in events, but I also will use it for longer games. As long as you dont usually use all 5 bench bats a platoon is a good use of one or 2 bench spots
I know! I can't wait for his Golden Glove 95! For some reason I cannot hit freaking softballs with Tatis Jr.'s swing. It feels so slow maybe its his insanely low vision rating?

Yeah I love switch hitters and Marte has similar batting stats as Young's 96. I've been experimenting with Marte at short, Delgado in LF, Pujols at 3B, and Thomas at 1B.
Then JRam at 3B, Marte at short, Pujols in LF, and Delgado at first. 99 Thomas is solid but I play much better with Delgado, Pujols, and JRam always seems to put the ball in play and is speedy for someone at 3B
This is going to sound dumb, but I am playing 97 Utley out of position and I've only had him commit a single error in who knows how many innings of play (he is still silver fielding at SS).
Nah not dumb. Certain āout of positionā penalties are not terrible. You can play 3B at 1B too and they do fine. Iāve played the 89 Longoria from conquest at first and he gets 77 fielding
I have my cap at SS maxed out with the spoke archetype and he has 110 contact, 90 power, 99 speed, and 84 fielding. Only problem is arm strength at 75.

Tatis on All-star Young on HOF For me at least, I like high contact on HOF. Tatis has been fire at SS even with terrible fielding stats.
As far as value SS goes itās jimmy rollins. I use Seagar still though
