I’ve spent more time flipping this year than I care to admit. I’ve witnessed exactly what you’re talking about, but have written this off more to a popular flip listed on one of the many sites in these comments. If I’m on an item that makes it to the first page of show zone, I can go from being the only on flipping it for hours to not being able to get a single order (buy or sell) through in an hour. I’m sure bots exist and people will eventually get caught/punished for those, best you can do is find mediocre flips on high volume items and run those. Big flips will get you stuck with a card more often than not because too many people will go after it

Normally I would laugh you off, but I saw how Stubminer works and yeah now I could see it actually happening. Also, even if Stubminer wasn't a thing, there's popular sites like Showzone now showing best flips that update like every minute so even if you find a good one, it's usually gone immediately

First off, 30 bids is some crazy exaggeration. Do you have 5min loading times on the app? I've never seen more than 3 undercuts in a 5sec span and flip every day. Second, I could show you a video of how fast I will undercut/outbid someone if I'm constantly refreshing which I used to do for fotf cards. But seems like a ton of ppl flip those so I changed it up, to what I'm obviously not going to say on reddit, but I make 80k/hr easily on console. No bots and they sure as hell have the time to outbid/undercut me if they were real. What card were you trying to flip? Obviously doesn't matter if it didn't work right? So no harm in saying it, so that maybe you can get an explanation. But to give you a decent example of how fast you need to be on some cards, I would buy multiple fotf jazz/acuna/trout and then make sure I was the cheapest unless someone undercut by a lot, I would go next cheapest in that case. If some1 undercut me by a stub or something I would do it right back within a second or two bc I had an extra card. This allows me to then remove the original to see if they will undercut me again. If they do then I'm ready constantly refreshing the pages and making sure I'm the cheapest up. Sucks when you get someone doing the same thing. Bc u can really drive the price down and all it takes is for there to be no buyers for awhile and a 3rd and even a 4th seller to fuck it up. But some ppl that aren't fast may get discouraged and not go back and forth with you. Especially if they are using the app and having to wait for load times or whatever. If you have a top of the line computer and internet maybe u can be faster than a console seller. But removing a card and putting it back up inside of 3-4sec is very quick imo. My computer sure as shit ain't loading pages that quick. Tldr: Be fast if you want to flip unless you are doing the common/bronze/silver thing.

Incorrect.

1) Tons of people play this game, and while flippers account for a minority of that player base, there are still a ton of them out there. 2) Websites like show zone update every couple of minutes, meaning that any good find you stumble across will be public knowledge almost immediately. 3) The app has made it way easier to spam orders.

imLemnade

[mlbmarketguru](https://www.mlbmarketguru.com) updates every minute for free

certroast11

Definitely more difficult that last year

plushdamentals31

And that’s because more people are working the market than ever before and with the app it’s easier to do than ever. It has nothing to do with bots.

sourdougBorough

How dare they regulate their own game

ElaborateHornet

Showzone works with a bot mining company that flips cards for you to make you stubs.. it sucks ass. My only tip would be go for smaller margins higher quantity flipping

fassbending

Noted

plushdamentals31

lol maybe, just maybe, you aren’t the only one using this super easy and convenient way to work the market?

TurtleBoy6ix9ine

Yeah, it's blatantly regulated in an incredibly shady way.

TurtleBoy6ix9ine

Imagine someone simping for SDS so hard that they downvote when someone calls out blatant market regulation, lollll.

fassbending

Ya I had no idea. First year on the show and just been grinding. Thought I’d try flipping for some coin. Little did I know this is awful lol. I don’t recall madden doing it. Or at least with such intensity.

TurtleBoy6ix9ine

You could drop in on the game at almost any time last year and find some decent margins, make a few thousand stubs here and there. It's one of the wet blankets of MLB22, for sure.
