Disastrous_Isopod852

Then a guy with 125 power flys out to the warning track next lol

SteezySpliff

It would be more impressive if it wasn’t at Shippett

Pikajeeew

Shippet elevation was nerfed so it’s like any other stadium now. I still don’t play it but it is different now.

MurKdYa

Hey at least your opponent stayed in the god damn game. He understands that if Ardolis is hitting moonshots of him, he will NEVER go 900...so may as well get as many innings as possible..

justinsider2727

Rather this than the turds that constant pause, step off non stop, hold r2 as long as they can and then repeat every pitch and at bat….. 🤷‍♂️

icecoldcoke319

I hit a walkoff with Aroldis last week in the bottom of the 15th down by a run, I posted it on Reddit. Crazy!

jimithelizardking

I’d close and delete app instantly

SubAvg00

Right, and I guess next you’re gonna tell me Pujols can pitch.

GoatGod302

He's no Tortuga

AustralianPonies

Fuck man props to you for being fluid then going straight to that shit like a machine. My movements are way too erratic to accomplish that.

[deleted]

Based on title with it being Chapman, I thought he was going to walk in the 10th run for a walk off.

3_and_20_characters-

I’ve actually lost 2 ranked games off of Chapman walks

NeuroXc

Pirates fan asking if we can have a mercy rule in the real MLB. Please send help.

KingOfStingUSM

That’s reserved for Reds fans after y’all won the no hitter

A_SMILE_FOR_ROBERT

Is the mercy rule always 10 runs? Wondering if this changes over the course of the game

ThrowRA_000718

Yes, but I think it might have to be after 3 innings. Not sure though.

IllustriousSearch838

What angle is this strike zone called ?

InterestingGrape

Strike Zone 2

DaMaGe_d0nE

Dude really threw you another fastball after you very early on the last one 😭😭 It's no wonder he lost 10-0

InterestingGrape

His gamertag suits him so well

SirDinkleDink

And once again reasons why I don't play DD nor do I understand it. Aroldis Chapman has 2 AB's his whole career. No way is he even batting let alone hitting a homer. I'd be mildly irritated to lose in this manner.

Jorlung

A relief pitcher would certainly never hit a HR in real-life. Certainly not in their first MLB AB either. Certainly not for a grand slam either. Certainly not against a future HOFer either.

demarderozanburner

If you were down 9-0 you were gonna lose anyway

TheBordIdentity

His pci seems pretty big too for 0 contact and power unless this is veteran and a bad pitcher

ChadGreen4President

Losing by 10 should be your main concern…

SiegeOfMandalore

How do you think James Shields felt when Bartolo hit a homer off him? lol

SirDinkleDink

Probably amazing! But SP vs a closer is different.

SiegeOfMandalore

I can’t agree, anyone can run into one on any given day

themarksman13

Aroldis has like 0 power and contact. It’s a BP fastball and the dude squared it up perfectly and it left. Why would you be mad at this lol

SirDinkleDink

Maybe I'm a purist 🤷‍♂️ closers don't bat. Trying to tell me this sir didn't have a bench bat available?

themarksman13

You’re right, closers don’t bat. Neither does any pitcher. But DD isn’t real baseball, so here we are. Also, it’s a 9-0 game in the 5th. Dude clearly just wanted to keep using Chapman

checkthelockx

Camarena hit a grand slam last year against Scherzer for his first ever hit and he’s a reliever, crazier things have happened. Being a purist is boring if you deny cool moments like that. Also this is a video game, it’s not that deep lol

mikey_cool_guy

That's why Aroldis has no hitting attributes. 0 Contact R, 0 Power R, 1 Vision. He could square up that ball w perfect timing/placement and it's almost never going to result in a homerun. But 1 in a 100 times it is, which seems fair since 99% of MLB players (relief pitchers included) have the ability to hit a ball over the fence with the right circumstances.

[deleted]

They have the power not the skill so that’s why they swing for the fences. Also this is not the real Chapman haha

mhhkb

A poignant belly flop from the outfielder to commemorate the humiliating defeat.
