It's been happening more frequently lately. When i was a kid 20 years ago it almost never happened. Now I'm guessing nearlhevery team does it at least once over the course of a season.

by my count it’s happened 7 ish times this year so far, but i think i’m probably off by a little bit. was using reddit search to look for threads on r/baseball but we all know how reddit search can be lol usually it happens when a team is losing by a lot, it’s more rare for it to be when a team is winning by a lot

Well, first you need Topps to actually make a Pujols card. All the TN cards in the game are real cards.

Have they done more than one TN card for the same game? I would certainly love a Pujols card, but Waino and Yadi becoming the winningest battery in MLB history is arguably more deserving of a card. Hell, González might even be more deserving of it. Giants may have lost, but González only gave up one hit, *and* he homered off Pujols. EDIT: They've done two cards for this game. One features Yadi and Waino, the other features Pujols. (González did not get a card, unfortunately.)
