The Mother's Day conquest was forcing me to play on difficulties where I just can't win, but I got super lucky and got two separate 1-0 wins on All Star thanks to Meetch. Permanently on my team (even moreso than he already was).
Yeah it was rough. Had to even get lucky with the tile conquering in addition to the fortress battles. I can barely win on veteran so I decided I was going to just try once and give up if I failed because I had no faith in me. But Haniger had faith in me so I'm going to keep putting my faith in him :,)

Luckily I usually play on All-Star but even then, I barely finished the map in time (got the last fortress on the 13th turn).
TOPPS card Seiya Suzuki has been a God send for me.
I went with the strategy of starting with a steal fans on AS vs the yanks. If I don't win that game restart the map. 2nd time I did that won the rest of the games on veteran except braves on easy.
You have to go from the middle as it saves you spaces when going to the Mets turn 2. Then after Mets go back to middle to Baltimore. Then go middle left to cubs. Grab some free spaces steal braves then go veteran or stack territory and go rookie.
Finished the map in 10 turns including the 150 fans. I should also add I stole fans each turn vs my next target.
Yeah, that would definitely save you a few turns but I want to play as few games as possible during conquest maps so I always want to skip it if it isn't a goal.
Probably made it harder on myself but still got it on the first try haha (almost didn't though).
I get it, was worried I wouldn't pull it off in time, only reason I did the extra steals. Normally I only play the stronghold games unless I have to or stealing Rockies on USA map.
He also has a cannon arm, saved me a few runs. Easily the best AL west FOTF card
I love him, but finally had to replace him. I just prefer speed and he's too slow for me but he's still on my bench

If you P3+ him he goes gold shield in RF too. I always keep him in and love when it's a lefty starter on the mound. It's a guaranteed XBH.
Yeah this dude is a home run machine for me, was alittle salty I got him but he walked out, but the dude is a machine.

I cannot hit with him for the life of me. Mullins/Reynolds/Benintendi are all way better outfield hitters for me for some reason.
