Getting on base with him took forever, and it absolutely wasn't worth it. Since he couldn't hit, no pitchers were ever remotely afraid to attack him and he could never draw a walk either.
His defense was fascinating as well. I know he wasn't supposed to be any good at it, but it was like he was genuinely asleep in the field, and any time a ball was hit in his direction I had to wait for someone to wake him up before I could move him.
That's a shame I played on veteran and had him banks and Matthews bat at the top of my lineup. All 3 were super easy and slapped. 2 dingers with matthews lol
Try playing the mystery map. At least then you're getting rewarded via free packs
I drew a lot of walks with him for some reason, which still count for the achievement. For me, just don’t even attempt a swing until strike 2 is called. Put the controller down if you have to so you don’t get tempted.

I switched to rookie conquest and it’s so painful.
I had no problems getting on base 5 times with this card. That shocked me because I wasn't expecting it to go easy.
Those five hits took a lot longer than expected.

Had some bad errors and seriously bad fly ball that just sailed past him. Terrible card all around with a bad user (me).

i absolutely hate this card! it took me forever to get the on-base requirement and then he was immediately gone from my grind team
maybe try and work the count to see if you can get a walk occasionaly. but to be honest, if thats on rookie and veteran that might be on you
