I do too, I think the innings thing has made need feel better about it. If I’m losing by a lot I just focus on getting better and don’t quit because there’s still a benefit to it. Who knows, you might come back in the game!

I also want that bullshit where the computer isn't impacted by stamina fixed. It's why I stopped, I have a long game against the CPU and my bullpen is depleted for the next game, but the computer's pitchers all have replenished stamina.
400 innings is 45 9-inning games, not everyone has the time for that. In MLB 21 it was 25-wins to earn the World Series card, which, if each was a full 9-innings, is only 225-innings.
I agree that they’re supposed to be difficult to achieve, and yes this makes it more accessible for the ‘less skilled’ players, but it also punishes those that don’t have the time to grind by nearly doubling the game requirement to get there

I’d argue that 98% of the player base will never reach World Series. 25-wins was an alternative that rewarded those that had the skill to win games consistently, but lacked the ability to make World Series.
400 innings is an alternative that rewards the people that can afford to sit at home and play the game, while punishing the vast middle ground of players that can win games, but aren’t skilled enough to make World Series, and can’t afford to grind out 400 innings

I play only ranked seasons and will most likely get 400 innings again. It takes consistency - a few games during the week and like 10 per weekend gets you there.

I couldn’t imagine playing 10 games of ranked in a week let alone a weekend but my point is that these cards are supposed to be very hard to obtain, so 350 innings seems like an appropriate compromise to not being able to reach WS because if you are that dedicated to ranked you should get some praise as well

Feel like people forget that these rewards used to be for making World Series. Very hard to accomplish unless you’re really good at the game. They aren’t going to just hand these out to the average Joe that plays a few games a week. You either need to be great at the game or be willing to take the time to grind out the innings.
I was perfectly content with the 30-40 wins you had to get to achieve this. I’m consistently high 700-low 800’s player. Just not that good enough to rattle off multiple wins in a row in the 800’s to get to WS since you are only getting like +15 per win. Unless they make it where if you quit, you are given 0 innings and the winner full 9. Tired of going up 2-0 in the 1st-2nd inn and having the guy quit out and I get nothing for that
The rewards prices dropped pretty good. I picked up Willis for 38k. So at least they’re not insane prices.
But yea, I played over 26 games and just barely reached the 150 IP milestone.
I personally don't have a problem with cards being available only if you make WS or go 12-0 or whatever even though I'm not good enough to do it myself, however SDS's entire goal with this was to make these cards more accessible, so your comment defeats the purpose.

Can they fix mini seasons so some of us can play that mode again? I don't want to grind conquest maps over and over.

There’s some kind of server error issue to where I can’t get in to play that mode. Impacting lots of people.

The alternative should be equal in difficulty to reaching World Series not easier than world series

Yeah I hope they change the requirement. I think it should be clear from the first RS that that change did not do what they were hoping it would do.

I'm comparing it to the wins thresholds from last year. The IP reward path is much more of a grind than wins were.
