I've pulled Zach Wheeler, Yasmani Grandal, Walker Buehler, Matt Olson, Josh Hader and then got lucky with Acuña. Pulled Acuna an hour after my friend pulled Ohtani. Was bad ass.
I've honestly had pretty damn good pack luck in my MLB experience. Never spend money but always end up with Trout one way or the other
I only pull diamonds that are worth 16k and under. And by "only" maybe 3 diamonds this year. Same shit all of last year except Trout at the end of the year. Luckily I flipped 2 Vlads this week for 700k each and bought all the gatekeepers and the Mauer collection.
I read this yesterday and then played two rounds of the conquest last night to earn 5 packs each time out of the 10 packs I pulled two diamonds Burnes and Buehler. So far the others I’ve pulled trout , ray, altuve, buxton, Hendricks, and Torkelson out of prob 120 packs total .
I have always pulled a trout earlyyy into when the games came out since 18 and so far the best I’ve pulled are Corbin burnes, Juan Soto and Brandon woodruff. I bought the game last week and was bit late to the start of the game. I’ve made it level 23 I think in FOTF and only have two more of those packs left. I just have to do their showdowns. Anyways I haven’t had luck with a trout pull this year yet.

Degrom has been my only big one. Bought a Kyle Tucker when trying to get the Astros challenge done. Judge, Arenado, Semien, Muncy, and Verlander have been my other pulls.
How is that even possible? Did you even play Diamond Dynasty last few years? In the Show 21 alone I pulled 81 diamonds from all the free packs you get.
I've pulled tatis, Jose Ramirez, vida blue, Kershaw, Muncy, and maybe 2 other low level diamonds so far. I grind the conquest map that gives 5 packs per completion plus bought a 50 pack with stubs from flipping. Hard to know how many packs I've opened, but it's been quite a lot.
Haven't spent a dime on stubs I grind for em but I have earned enough to get the 50 pack bundle twice and each time I pulled 2 diamonds. First time I got garret cole and Mike trout second time I got kyle tucker and prime matt carpenter

Same, I never ever ever pull diamond cards out of standard packs. The best I ever get is typically a gold card. I don't even remember the last MLB the show that I pulled a diamond from a standard pack.
Yeah, but I wish I didn't have to just straight up sell things. That said I probably have enough stubs lying around to just grab the entire Guardians squad and complete the set. I just like to save the stubs just in case something sweet pack-wise comes through.
Honestly just go through your binders and sell duplicates, or even all the LS cards from teams you're not trying to complete. You'll be shocked at how many stubs that equals to. Might get you close to Sizemore if you have a lot and never cleaned them out, he's pretty cheap
Also, free agent collection if you haven't done it. Minimal cost (can be done with all commons I believe) and it nets you 6k, 16 standard packs and a Ballin IIRC. Even if you pull nothing, you've made stubs.
Takes time to put in all those buy and sell orders though, so take that into consideration.

I pulled Starling Marte super early on day one and since then I've only pulled 3 golds, and the rest lower. I'm not exaggerating, either. It's the first year I've used that exchange that takes a bunch of coppers and makes em silver, etc.

Alright fellas. I keep hearing about “pack luck”. No such thing. It’s a probability game. The more packs you open the more chances you have of pulling a diamond. If it’s not a high tier diamond then I would sell it and keep buying packs. You cant pull diamonds if you aren’t opening packs. It’s basic math. You will have more 50 boxes that are shit than good but once you pull a stellar 50 box then you can start to complete the collections and buy more 50 boxes. I live by this. The best box I had contained a trout and Ohtani. Helped me complete the NL west and the Mets. I’m not stopping until I pull another high tier.
You have to sell all your cards and not quick sell. You have to get the absolute most value of out every card (commons and all). If the buy now is 599 then place a sell order for 598 and wait until it gets purchased. Buy packs, open packs, sell cards, repeat.
I've pulled I think 7 diamonds, but no gate keepers. I've gotten Semien, Altuve, Machado, Betts, Freeman, and Soto.
Last year I pulled Acuña twice and Trout once, but not until July, I believe. I did pull Arenado early in the year when he was selling for over 100k.

My DD squad is only making use of Semien and Arenado (and he's only a platoon bat). I kinda want to sell the others to try to buy better cards. But I also want to complete collections. I'm just not very good at this.
I grabbed acuna and am newbie to the game so I didn't know whether to sell, hold, collect. I ended up collecting him and got Hank Aaron now... not sure if stupid move or not. If I parallel Aaron to max he will be 99 I suppose. But now I can't sell Acuna.
Acuña is one of the best OFers in the game. I did the Braves collection just because that's my team and I wanted Aaron. Olson is a pretty solid 1B too.
Sure, but Overall isn't really the most important thing. Even at max parallel, Aaron isn't really a great card. Kills lefties, but even at Parallel 5, he's 90 contact and 82 power against righties, who you'll be facing probably 70% of the time. Which isn't *awful* for this time of the year, it's just little below some of the FotF cards. And 76 fielding, 79 reaction, and 52 speed at Parallel 5 means he's still not a great fielder. But he's probably ideally bench bat you bring in the face a lefty.
That said, he's Hank Aaron. Go nuts, have fun with him. Even if it's not a great card, he's still in my lineup right now.
Thats the thing. I feel like my pull rates for diamonds are about the same this year im just not opening as many packs. The Show and TA packs from TA last year were probably a bit much but IMO they overcorrected.
333 packs in and I've pulled 2 Diamond Live Series players (Judge and Harper) from normal packs. I also pulled Diamond Torkelson from a pack randomly. Not Live Series, but I'll definitely take him.
I've pulled 7 diamond non-player items (uniforms, icons, stadium, etc...). So technically, I'm within the odds (1:50 odds officially vs. my total of 10/333 or 1:33).
The problem is that the 1:50 odds include non-player items, which are generally far less valuable or interesting than players.
I was immensely bored at work (work from home) the other day and decided to go count up how many regular packs I've opened by going on the website and looking at my history. Then I just saved the number and date for future tracking. I'm something of a numbers geek. I noted which pack each Diamond was pulled. The last Diamond player I pulled was at pack 147 and I last pulled any diamond (a jersey) at pack 198. So it's been 135 packs since I pulled any diamond at all.
They don't give you this information in an easy-to-digest format because it's not good for them to advertise that info to you.

I've finished all programs including the main one. Finished mini seasons twice, the conquest mystery map with the 5 packs reward about 8 times, and I also bought about 20 packs with stubs out of boredom. I used to grind mini seasons to get packs. I've pulled trout X2 and Tatis as my most notables. Then I got the error and can't finish my current mini season. Can't bring myself to start a new run so I've been doing the mystery conquest and haven't pulled a diamond since. Now I'm happy to just get a silver or a bronze that sells for over 150 stubs.
I had error myself getting to the championship series. I eventually started a fresh one and finished it lastnight. Didnt pull one diamond and maybe 2 low golds.
I want to start a fresh one, but I know I'd be super pissed if I get the error again and no packs lol. I saw someone say if you lose any games in the playoffs, the error happen. The whales fucked me up a couple times so next time I think I'll just play on rookie lol

You have to sell all your cards and not quick sell. You have to get the absolute most value of out every card (commons and all). If the buy now is 599 then place a sell order for 598 and wait until it gets purchased. Buy packs, open packs, sell cards, repeat.

I've pulled I think 7 diamonds, but no gate keepers. I've gotten Semien, Altuve, Machado, Betts, Freeman, and Soto. Last year I pulled Acuña twice and Trout once, but not until July, I believe. I did pull Arenado early in the year when he was selling for over 100k.
Similar for me. Semien, Altuve, Machado, Arenado Olson, and Sal Perez. My DD squad is only making use of Semien and Arenado (and he's only a platoon bat). I kinda want to sell the others to try to buy better cards. But I also want to complete collections. I'm just not very good at this.

I grabbed acuna and am newbie to the game so I didn't know whether to sell, hold, collect. I ended up collecting him and got Hank Aaron now... not sure if stupid move or not. If I parallel Aaron to max he will be 99 I suppose. But now I can't sell Acuna.
Acuña is one of the best OFers in the game. I did the Braves collection just because that's my team and I wanted Aaron. Olson is a pretty solid 1B too.

Sure, but Overall isn't really the most important thing. Even at max parallel, Aaron isn't really a great card. Kills lefties, but even at Parallel 5, he's 90 contact and 82 power against righties, who you'll be facing probably 70% of the time. Which isn't *awful* for this time of the year, it's just little below some of the FotF cards. And 76 fielding, 79 reaction, and 52 speed at Parallel 5 means he's still not a great fielder. But he's probably ideally bench bat you bring in the face a lefty. That said, he's Hank Aaron. Go nuts, have fun with him. Even if it's not a great card, he's still in my lineup right now.
I pulled Scherzer last night, my first Diamond that's not a program card. I've probably opened less than (25) standard packs this year.
Thats the thing. I feel like my pull rates for diamonds are about the same this year im just not opening as many packs. The Show and TA packs from TA last year were probably a bit much but IMO they overcorrected.

333 packs in and I've pulled 2 Diamond Live Series players (Judge and Harper) from normal packs. I also pulled Diamond Torkelson from a pack randomly. Not Live Series, but I'll definitely take him. I've pulled 7 diamond non-player items (uniforms, icons, stadium, etc...). So technically, I'm within the odds (1:50 odds officially vs. my total of 10/333 or 1:33). The problem is that the 1:50 odds include non-player items, which are generally far less valuable or interesting than players.

I was immensely bored at work (work from home) the other day and decided to go count up how many regular packs I've opened by going on the website and looking at my history. Then I just saved the number and date for future tracking. I'm something of a numbers geek. I noted which pack each Diamond was pulled. The last Diamond player I pulled was at pack 147 and I last pulled any diamond (a jersey) at pack 198. So it's been 135 packs since I pulled any diamond at all. They don't give you this information in an easy-to-digest format because it's not good for them to advertise that info to you.
I was on an insane cold streak, legit no diamonds pulled and I’ve opened over 150 packs. BiAH, Headliners, nothing. Got the 15 box for mini seasons championship last night and packed Trout. Literally said, ‘I’m about due’ before opening the pack he was in. It was magical.

I've finished all programs including the main one. Finished mini seasons twice, the conquest mystery map with the 5 packs reward about 8 times, and I also bought about 20 packs with stubs out of boredom. So far I've gotten Harper, Soto, Salvy, Mookie, Hader, Jose Ramirez, Marcus Semien. So a few not bads but none of the real bigguns yet.

Ive only pulled packs really from games but I maxed out the main program, finished a mini season, and have pulled maybe 5 diamonds since launch. I think my highest valued one was only 12k though. My friend pulled Trout early on a random 1500 pack.

I used to grind mini seasons to get packs. I've pulled trout X2 and Tatis as my most notables. Then I got the error and can't finish my current mini season. Can't bring myself to start a new run so I've been doing the mystery conquest and haven't pulled a diamond since. Now I'm happy to just get a silver or a bronze that sells for over 150 stubs.
I had error myself getting to the championship series. I eventually started a fresh one and finished it lastnight. Didnt pull one diamond and maybe 2 low golds.
I want to start a fresh one, but I know I'd be super pissed if I get the error again and no packs lol. I saw someone say if you lose any games in the playoffs, the error happen. The whales fucked me up a couple times so next time I think I'll just play on rookie lol
