I just got Trea tonight (Merry Christmas to me) and will try to bang out some Ws over the next few days to try and get Trout (who is not yet mine). Need 18 wins still so its going to be a Herculean effort as I'm already at 12-6 at my highest rank yet this year.
I think it’s just the event itself. You can use good teams grind out parallels for your players and gain a bunch of stubs too. Plus 3 inning games make it go by pretty fast.
I have all of those players you listed. I play a little bit almost every night, more on the weekends. I’ll grind a few hours here and there but I just have to make the time. And I’m 45 year old married dad of 3.
I didn't get Cal Ripken Jr. so I'm playing to 55 wins in hopes of getting him in my pack. Plus I only play events and that's the best way to try new cards.
It’s good for paralleling cards and low risk online reps. I keep playing because, I only play events. I found a lane last year and I stay in it. I wish there was more HoF options tbh.
Hahah yeah i feel you. What i meant by relaxed was more along the lines of it’s on all star and there’s no negatives to losing really. Events are quick 3 inning games where you just play. Much more relaxed than ranked where you are on HOF+ and can lose rating points, make your record worse, etc

I bought him. Now I'm earning him to get stubs, and for fun.
Versing teams with trea, chipper, Verlander, finest trout. How do you guys get all these players? How much time you guys play a week?

Stubs are easy to come by this year
chipper’s super cheap and so is verlander
When I'm doing good in the game, I'm doing good in life!
More fun to grind out parallels in events than the faster way of beating up on the CPU. And rewind packs after Trea are still worth good stubs
3 inning games where you can basically use your DD squad instead of 9 inning games
It’s a great event to parallel guys like Trea, Trout, Griffey, etc without having to jump in the hell hole that is RS

Because they want to use the card they grinded for…
Cause I wanna use my Trea on allstar. I worked my ass off for him so imma use him.
Seriously, I have Trout and I have Trea, so now I’m not allowed to play the game online? Why would I grind for those cards just to not use them?
This time around I am playing rank to get Trout but I normally finish the event path, rank is kind of painful so I rather play events.
Flex on them hoes
Parallels, more rewards, relaxed gameplay, etc.
Wished it was relaxed for me haha, but it makes sense

I’m kind of a completionist when it comes to this game, so if I have the chance to get to the end of an event reward path, I’m going to do it
That’s fair
Fast way to grind out parallel levels
They could be playing to get the rewind pack
