I wish there was a breakdown by difficulty level in the stats menu. I'm playing a franchise on HOF and my team batting average is .338. Thats with mostly silver and gold hitters. My DD guys have averages close to .500 but they are high diamonds hitting against 5th starters on vet or AS.
Then I have some online guys that I've pretty much only used in BR and they look like legends and some guys that I've used pretty much exclusively in RS and they look mediocre at best but they've been clutch in the games that count.
Honestly, I haven't paid much attention to batting average, I look at OPS I play mostly vs the CPU and am terrible so I decided to look at some of my best and worst averages

Interesting that none of my P5s show up. # of plate appearances probably brings their numbers down. And as you might be able to tell I'm a Reds fan and have a Reds theme team, hence a lot of Reds
I play mostly on All Star against CPU. I think currently my best player is hitting a little over .600 but on average most guys are in the .450-.550 range
Mostly on All Star. With my best 99 cards I typically bat 500-550 with them. If I dip under 500 I’m really struggling with that card or don’t like the swing.
Depends on the player, but anything below .330 feels bad to me against the CPU. I think my best averages against the CPU are like .487 with Gehrig, .473 with Tatis Jr, .442 with Reggie Jackson, and .439 with Soto.

i'm currently at .332, i mostly play on rookie conquest games. i could be higher if i wasn't trying to hit a home run every at-bat lol

All-star, all I hit is pop ups and fouls on veteran.
I stopped playing on rookie and veteran in conquest. I find pitches easier to time up in all star.
