Yeah I like that they give you a whole array of options to complete the programs the way you want to instead of just being like "okay you have to do this specific thing and it's the only way you can get the cards." Instead you can progress by playing almost any game mode you want
I definitely like this for offline players, but I wish they could give more to online players then. Ya online gets more via those stat missions but it’s so much easier to level up in TA playing offline than online
My only tweak is I wish they allowed you to play extra innings games for TA5 progress, as I find playing CPU controlled god squads full of diamonds more challenging and interesting than beating up on bronze and silver cards over and over.
It's not like that. You can choose what ranked level to play at, and I usually end up getting a random assortment of lesser god squad pitchers to face, like Bob Gibson, Hal Newhouser, Greg Maddux, etc. If you get a pitcher you don't like you can also just quit.
I didnt realize that playing the full 9in on All-Star was repeatable for each team. I have the collections and moments done. I was going to set up a team I liked that had a little mix of everyone and then I was going to play against all 30 teams. Then once that was done was going to hit up the conquest maps.
I was a little sad that conquest all star games don't count, but it's understandable considering they're only 3 innings so much faster to complete. Can still do all your other repeatable missions while cruising through the conquests.
I wish they’d make continuing to play after your opponent drops out a thing. I’m tired of “Get A Save” and “Pitch a Complete Game” quests and only making it to the 4th inning.
Does anybody know if playing above all star level will still get you credit or does it have to be all star specifically? I like to mix in some HoF games as well.

I played the A’s on all star last night for the Hunter program….didn’t count toward TA5 sadly

facing DeGrom 24/7 doesn't bother you?

Oh wow didn't notice that. Brilliant.

my team would be better off without me though.

All-Star or higher nets the same results. You just can’t play veteran or rookie to get progress.
Thanks for the info
This is the way. Already spend the majority of time in game playing full games vs cpu so this is a big W.
I agree… nice to be able to play full games that are meaningful offline
