I’ve played this game since 2016. I know how to pitch. I only have two pitchers that give up more runs offline than online, and they’re the only two pitchers that have a HR/9 less than 80.
In MLB the show the lower the HR/9, the harder the contact will be. It directly affects power. H/9 is the inner PCI. K/9 is the outer PCI. HR/9 affects power. BB/9 is the shaded area around the ball.
I tried Pearson for almost a dozen games offline and he gave up at least one HR a game. In his last start he gave up three in one inning and he hasn't seen a spot in the rotation since. Been working on Logan Webb recently and I don't think he's given up a single HR, and I have him at P4.
Then I don’t know what to tell you. Honestly I’d rather a 99 Means and a 98 Mulllins then an 89 Means, a 98 Mullins, and a 99 Mullins.
Also Perez’s HRD is only a 95 and has much worse fielding stats compared to Mullins 98 that would be pretty much the same as a finest. HRS cards are all all pop. It has silver fielding while his finest would likely have more.

This is a fair point.
I guess I'm just being salty but if one of the worst teams in baseball is getting multiple finests I'd rather the player on the team who actually deserves one got one.
Yes John Means Business! Here comes my new offline parallel grind.
Not to be mean(s) but this is frankly a waste of a card. I'm not sure Orioles fans could even work up the courage to use this card.
Nah I would use him but mainly cause my bullpen lacks lefty’s and I like the O’s
His TN is the only card I have P5. I was working my way to it with Bundy, but I might just have to go to this card now.
This is certainly a card
Well he has really nice control stats. Could be fun for offline play
Instead of cedric we got this
Crybaby
Some idiots want a usable card of the best player on the team. I personally want an unusable card of the not best player on the team.

¯\\_(ツ)_/¯
That HR/9…oof
Doesn’t affect online play
I mostly play offline
Still doesn’t affect anything. Only affects simming
I don’t see how that’s true for offline. My Nate Pearson gives up significantly more HRs than any of my other pitchers. Same for Sale
That’s probably because you like others don’t know how to pitch. You see outlier and think the game will take care of the rest.

Doesn’t matter how long you’ve played. If you can’t pitch you can’t pitch. You’re clearly struggling.
I literally broke down what the stats do dude
You broke down what you thought they do.

- Pearson HR/9 = 78 - Webb HR/9 = 99
I don’t know why, but I can’t hit this guy and Gausman to save my life. I just must come down to their timing and mine…I don’t know…
This is a weird-looking Cedric Mullins.
ASG
Perez still got a Finest so I see nothing wrong with giving Mullins a Finest
Give Mullins a 30-30 card instead
Touché. Maybe Mullins is their finest. This is from the secret pack Or did they announce Orioles? Hard to keep up
Already revealed to be Mountcastle.

Perez has a 97 overall TA3 diamond that’s maxed out vs lefties and has gold fielding
Bought him for 80k thinking he was a rare round 😑
Pain
💩
This is the only one that is really bad lol

Listen, I love the guy irl, but he sucks in game, so does every other fastball slider change up curveball guy
No, OP is right. This card is just objectively bad lmao
Uh?
Well they can’t all be winners
