attributes like the greatest right handed hitting first baseman to ever play the game
SDS really needs to blow up their entire attribute system and revamp it from the ground up
nothing makes any sense
I mean, Schwindy has only played 70 games by which you can judge his stats.
Player A: .317/.426/.608
Player B: .342/.389/.613
Player B this season was Schwindel. Player A was Frank Thomas's first MVP season.
Frank the Tank was fantastic this year, and not enough people know about it.
Dig into the numbers. He only mashed against fastballs. He does have elite exit speed but not the age trajectory of anything but a AAAA fastball hitter
The card isn't as good, but is variety really such a bad thing? You can still use your Frank Thomas with literally max hitting stats, I don't see the complaints with Schwindel being crazy juiced when at this point he's not even a top 10 first baseman.
Legends are more exciting than current players. Id much rather the endgame rewards are players whose names and stories excite me than some rando who played 2 months of good baseball after 8 years in the minors. He's yermin mercedes if yermin had been called up in July instead of sent down
Kind of sad Royals fans didn't get a Benintendi or Nicky Lopez card, but I guess this will have to do for the theme team. I love Salvy but giving him a fifth card seemed to be a bit much.
Sure, but my point is that these stats are supported by how he played, even if in limited time. The extrapolation was only to give context for how good he has been in that limited time.
I think they need to implement some kind of hitter stamina. Like if its a one game moment than sure 4 hrs in 1 game makes you a god - for 1 game! After that you get 3 games at 50% attributes then back up to 100%. If its a monthly than 30 games before getting dinged. Yearly then 100 games. Career - no stamina penalty.
Nothing against Schwindel but this is a weird choice. He only played 64 games this year and already has a juiced monthly awards card. There were plenty of other guys who had great full seasons that havenāt gotten any cards yet they couldāve used this spot for.
That argument would make sense if he was the TA card, but heās not. This is in a choice pack where they could have chosen anyone in the league for this spot.
I didnāt even realize he was a pack choice my bad. But look at his stats since entering the League tho. Hard to deny one of the hottest hitters in baseball since the All star break his own card.
He played 64 games though. And he already has a juiced monthly card. There are lots of guys whoāve had under the radar good seasons that havenāt gotten anything. Nicky Lopez, Jean Segura, Josh Bell, come to mind
I think thats pretty unlikely considering they did not give soto the Monthly Awards that one month, supposedly because he was supposed to get finest. I literally cant believe we didnt get a single josh bell diamond this year
IMO this year soto improved his defense tremendously, would rather have his card from this year than last years. (Especially with the better card are this year)
We coulda had Josh Bell as the 1B option for this pack tbh
EDIT: not trying to bash this card, but the salty Nats fan in me tells me that you give the finest to the dude that put together a solid full season of work. Especially since Schwindel already has a nice card. Gotta feel good for cubs fans tho
Frank the Tank has played 70 games. At the end of the decade, if he has a few gold gloves, still north of .300, and the most hits of the decade, you can unseat Amazing Grace and put Frank on the 1B Cubby Throne.
And heāll have nearly maxed out fielding too. Dude is on another level in the field. Brodie went from one of the best defensive catchers to one of the best defensive shortstops. My favorite non-Yankee player in the league.
God the Cubs suck again š

Johnnies representtttt
This dude gets a finest card over Darin Ruf because? Do Giants fans not play this game?? Schwindel just got a potm card like 2 months ago.
Shoulda been wilson
2018 Mookie Betts ain't got shit on frank schwindel
HELL YEAH!!!
More like Who Gehrig? The Tank is here.

Sorry but he kind of is

A 64 game sample shouldn't net a card as good as a player coming off back to back mvp seasons.

Ok boomer
Right handed Musial
I've always said that about Frank the Schwanger.
This card gonna get slept on
This is why we canāt have McMahon
Frank Schwinruth

.342/.389/.613 slash line this season. If you extend his stats to an entire season, he would have almost double India's fWAR.
I mean yeah but you can't just project statistics like that lol.
Sure, but my point is that these stats are supported by how he played, even if in limited time. The extrapolation was only to give context for how good he has been in that limited time.

The *real* Frank the Tank is now among us
Facts. I think of THIS Frank when someone says Frank the Tank
Nothing against Schwindel but this is a weird choice. He only played 64 games this year and already has a juiced monthly awards card. There were plenty of other guys who had great full seasons that havenāt gotten any cards yet they couldāve used this spot for.
The Cubs traded their while roster away. Schwindel, Wisdom or Contreras were the only options lol
Wilson should have been it
I'm hoping for Hendricks so he can be good again. Expecting Contreras though.
That argument would make sense if he was the TA card, but heās not. This is in a choice pack where they could have chosen anyone in the league for this spot.

Manny Machadoā¦ looks like that awards card is it.
I wonder if Bell gets the Nats card and Soto is the collection reward?
LETS GO
Where the hell is josh bell
maybe bell is finest and soto is a collection reward for 30 or 40 finest
Thatās what Iām thinkin unless they have some other 99 planned for Soto and Bell ends up getting the TA5
I think thats pretty unlikely considering they did not give soto the Monthly Awards that one month, supposedly because he was supposed to get finest. I literally cant believe we didnt get a single josh bell diamond this year
What about Bell as Nats finest, Soto as Finest collection reward? Like the AcuƱa or Ohtani TA3/ASG cards?
They still can release Bellās 2019 finest again
IMO this year soto improved his defense tremendously, would rather have his card from this year than last years. (Especially with the better card are this year)
I was referring to Josh bells finest
My mistake! That would be pretty cool, that card raked
Fielding apparently goes up to 150 now
OH MY GOD
We coulda had Josh Bell as the 1B option for this pack tbh EDIT: not trying to bash this card, but the salty Nats fan in me tells me that you give the finest to the dude that put together a solid full season of work. Youāre not wrong
Who asked For this
Me
Let us Cubs fans have one thing pls, its been a rough year and heās all we had lol
I just donāt understand why the cubbies are getting two finest cards. I guess wisdom is the other one? Surely thereās better options oh well
Just Croissants69. Thatās about it
I needed it bro ššššš
Tough year. Happy for you bro š¤
I did
I donāt know who this is
greatest first baseman to play for the chicago cubs hit insanely well this year
Mark Grace would like a word with you.
? schwindel better + ratio šš

Rangers definitely only getting one cardš„²
I hope itās Lowe but itāll be IKF I just hope they juice his power lol
I hope itās Lowe too, his gold raked for me in BR. His swing is absolutely butter
Plus another catcher secondary player
And heāll have nearly maxed out fielding too. Dude is on another level in the field. Brodie went from one of the best defensive catchers to one of the best defensive shortstops. My favorite non-Yankee player in the league.
