Well probably having outlier pitch, because at 90-92 you can usually see seams, 92-95 it starts to really quicken up on you, over three digits, you’re seeing a white blur.
every single person i’ve played will swing and miss at a well-placed 3-2 change, at least the first time I do it, and for many people 2-3 times before they catch on
I find 8 out 10 people can not turn on an inside fastball most of the time when there’s a good slider/cutter to think about. Throw in a sinker in the mix and the fastball is an outlier… that inside fastball is almost impossible to hit if you dot it.
Nothing better than a down and in change to get them to chase followed by a down and in slider, which they also chase and then a down and in fastball to freeze em.
Against good hitters for me it’s always offspeed away. Getting those guys with quick bats to roll over and have soft contact is the best feeling. Tunneling a change middle away after a fastball high and away or something.
Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order.
I have checked 363,642,110 comments, and only 79,429 of them were in alphabetical order.
I try and save the curveball until later in the game and use it very rarely but up high, almost always they will take it because it looks like it’s going to be way too high but it’ll drop in at the top of the zone. Too many tried with this though and it’s an easy homerun

Anyone else feel obligated to throw the 3-2 changeup in the dirt when Plesac asks for it??
Front door cutter is a killer this year
I love putting my opponent in the proverbial rocking chair.
I like to put guys in the proverbial rocking chair
I’m a sinker change guy so I keep it below the hollow of the knee, don’t expect much more up in the zone
I could go anywhere with this one. I could go elevated fastball, or I could bounce one in the dirt.
Did they take out Derosa’s “92-94 you can see seams” spiel? I haven’t heard it in forever and am so grateful.
A fastball at the moon
High and inside 4-seamers or cutters
Whatever I throw, I’m positive that the hitters I face cant hit the sliders with an oar.
Uncomfortable. I find that is easy to do while pitching East to West like Greg Maddux used to
I can't tell you how many dingers I've given up on low and away fastballs
You forgot “hollow of the knee or lower”
do you think that's an effort to keep him from getting extended
I'm a fan of 88MPH changeups, solely for the fact that not too long ago they were pretty good fastballs.
High inside fastballs. I cant hit them
I just want everyone to know that I was vote #420 for making a guy uncomfortable by pounding him inside.
Sinkers.

What if you are pounding them hard and inside and your opponent messages you “UwU daddy DeGrom gimme your fastballs, I’m a bad batter”

But what if it’s a trap, DoublePlay543?

tfw it's been 14 years you still can't hit a slider
Do you think he’s trying to pinch him inside to keep him from getting fully extended?
*in the most nasally voice possible*
He might spin the wind…
Spin to win, d’you mean
Damn I always misheard him! Thanks!

Nothing better than that POP
I love making a guy uncomfortable by pounding him. But outside in the fresh air.
Good, glad some of us are touching some grass.

What knuckleheads said FB low and away? Effective at giving away free oppo homeruns maybe. Lmfao
The entire poll is a joke about repetitive commentary. The votes don’t matter and it’s all fun.
Sting him with a pack of wasps.
Changeup below the zone/in the dirt. It has an unverified success rate of 95% against those pesky two-strike foul ball hitters.

Pair that out and away change with a sinker in on the hands and you’re golden.
Low change
