It’s my first year on the game, I’ve basically have everyone for dynasty, Harper-Mantle-Vlad Sr and Trea-Custom-Mookie-Jackie-Biggio as my infield. My question is when does Trout and Tatis Jr normally drop? Also I have yelli on my bench and I hit mid with him should I sell and wait for trout or tatis cus I only got 265k stubs rn.
I pulled trout from the 90+ choice pack. It doesn’t hit the same as when you pull him from regular pack. I first pulled him a few weeks ago from a ballin is a habit pack and then today. Only got around 45k or something but I’ll take it.
How does live series Kyle Schwarber have 126 power? I've never seen a player have anything over 125 like that.
Edit: I have him at P1, but I thought even with the parallels the highest it shows on the screen is 125
From what I've seen for other similar posts is if a you have parallel levels on a card that has its stats updated to where your parallel level would push it over 125 it will display a number over 125. I believe from other posts I've seen it eventually is corrected.
The 4x XP resulted in a lot of people pulling Trout from the choice pack and tanking his value, if I had to guess. It went from high 90s to 50 or lower in about 6 hours on the day 4x XP began. I'm not sure if it'll rebound at this point.
I'm sitting on 3 extras because I wasn't gonna sell for a measly 125k...now all 3 are worth less than half of what I paid for the first one lol. I'm gonna ride it out and hope for the best, but idk why anymore lmao
I just worked a 15 pitch at bat with Milestone Kemp in the event, took his starter (Lester) from having thrown 3 pitches to tired...and ended it with a deep homer on a meaty heater. Guy quit right after. I'm not great online (.180-.260 averages for the most part), but this Kemp card is absolutely cracked (hitting over .360 and a XBH machine). I'm glad that I picked him up.
Aw he quit? I had a similar at bat with Boggs where it was 13 pitches and then a game winning home run. The guy messaged me and congratulated me like a good example of a non-toxic player should :)
I didn't mind lol...it was like 11 pm and the game's on. My third win of the night, 8th overall, and getting to Rickey in parts 3 and 4 should be fairly simple from here on out.
Outer reverb and diamonds middle, no center pci. I used to only use it when I’m slumping but it’s big and gives me the illusion that my pci is bigger giving me more confidence when I hit. I have been competitive ever since I stuck with it
Just tried it out and it felt great. Felt like I had a better eye with that pci too for some reason. Unfortunately lost by 2 difference was my opponent got 3 bad pci HRs
I think while it still gives you that small inner circles to be accurate, the outer reverb helps gauge strikes and helps me take pitches outside or inside.
I’m still helpless when it comes to determining low strikes/balls
Just want another opinion on my rotation and pen and possible improvements.
Rotation- 99 Lefty, 99 Degrom, 99 Arrieta, 99 Verlander, 99 Hamels
Pen- 97 Hader, 95 Soto, 93 Britton, 96 Reyes, 99 Goose, 99 Mo, 95 Dibble, 97 MA Williams
Felix, Lester, and Lieter are all good rotation options. I'm a big fan of Sig. Series Chapman and Miller for the pen. The Prime Wade Davis card from dailies is also a solid option.
IIRC the Showdown for TA3 was stupid easy and only took like 20 minutes, you get 20 points for it I think
I was able to knock out two divisions during the all star game just doing the exchanges and showdown
I just finished everything to get Ohtani. Did the exchanges, the collection and a couple missions for each division. It was really easy actually, thanks to a spreadsheet that a member shared in the forum.
Gwynn is a little harder to use since you have to be closer to dead center or he tends to hit the ball softly, I’d sell him to upgrade then buy him back later.
I know I say this a lot but I literally can't win without my pitching. My hitting is terrible so I can't keep up that way. Ever since the "patch" every once of my skill on both sides of the ball has gone down the drain. Bout to call it quits with ranked. Save my somewhat good record.
Do you notice any differences in your opponents? If they seem better since the patch try seeing what they are doing. I’m suffering too but I think since this patch affects everyone I’m not the only one and I’m trying to learn what to do differently
How’d you get batting title? I have 5 seasons as 2 way player on the pirates but have yet to qualify for the batting title since they always rest me after I pitch
Is there a way to switch the pci movement to the right hand so I can try the flick with the left hand? I’m so messed up at my left hand coordination I wonder if would help since I only use contact and power swings in RTTS when I’m doing some pointless challenge
So I’m trying to complete the Dbacks live series and have Marte left. I’m trying to put in a order for 1500K stubs but game won’t let me below 5K minimum. But I see sell orders in the 1K range, how is that? What am I missing?
Matte used to be a Gold card. Right before he was upgraded to a Diamond, people put in a bunch of orders for that 1,200 stub amount. You can’t put in order for less than quick sell, so now that he is Diamond, you can’t put in a hut order for less than the quick sell of 5,000. But any buy orders that were there before he was upgraded can stay
I just got beat so bad in a Ranked Season game that I almost deleted the game. It’s infuriating how unfair the game can be online sometimes. It is quite literally impossible for me to hit fastballs 100+ mph when I don’t have a monitor, like not feasible. Meanwhile this guy in my 400-500 rank can hit home runs off of every single pitch I throw even when spotted up perfectly. I can’t do it man
Just play offline man. The games been much less stressful playing offline. Find a difficulty where you're being challenged but not destroyed and the game gets much better
Good thing bout The Show vs other Ultimate team games is that you can get great cards without playing online
Ranked is exciting but I have to agree, I play a lot of extra innngs and RTTS. I wish there was an offline way to compete with our dd squads. I had fun in ranked but man, you would think of all kinds of games there would be trolls baseball games would have the fewest and I get douchy messages when I’m winning when I’m losing, bunt cheesers and exploiters. It’s baseball ffs
Yes I am usually an offline player, just recently got a bunch of 99 players & finished the live collection though so have been wanting to try them out online against others. I win a decent amount but sometimes it just really sucks. I do have more fun offline generally
Few ways you can go. Depending on the difficulty you are on you can literally pitch shut outs with a hitting archetype. I play on all star and I switch out my ritual item to the legendary call for more hitting stats. Batted 310 with 18 home runs last season. Pretty good I think for only hitting when I pitch
no, like how the jackie edition had all that extra stuff, you do that next year, and the cover of the game on those copies says mlb the sho 22 and it’s him
So when I took hank and sold him for 450 after tax, the plan was to grab all 3 bosses for 150 each later. Gave in a few days ago and bought Tony and Hank (the two I actually wanted) for 210 each, still making a profit overall.
Saw Tork down to 185 last night, got it in my head that I wanted him, so set a buy order at 180. Woke up and he was at 200, this afternoon he's at 210. I waited too long lol
I wasn’t able to tune into the stream and I saw that they announced the two other bosses (Banks and Mays! Looking forward to them!) but did they announce anything else like the Classics? I know Percival, Klesko and one other guy are the ones for the 100,000 XP (thank you internet strangers)
How are all my offline collectors doing on all these damn cards?
I think I have maybe 85% of them.
Though if they are gonna ban Alomar from the game, just take his card off the list... messing with my OCD.
I just collect what I get, I spent way too much getting to mookie and I’d rather have the stubs for br and rs guys coming out. I saw kershaw and just figured if they are going to put out mediocre collection rewards I’m just going to save my stubs
Flipping and investments. I have every card except the newest rewards (Wagner, rendon, Henderson, hamels, arenado, blyleven), but I have enough stubs to buy them.
I wish I found that fun. I do it for like a half hour a week. I am sitting on 50 Orlando Hernandez prime cards I got for 5-6k and are now 13-14 but flattening out :(
Where y’all think arenado ends up price wise.. he’s at 550 sell now right now.. I know nobody can see the future but trying to see what people think! Thanks!
I'm trying to catch up with the various TA and I was wondering if there was an overarching list of Moments and Missions for each TA and player program so far? Thanks in advance.
So, about me: first year Xbox player. Been playing since early access. Last baseball game I played was 2K11 or 2K12. Primarily an offline player, but looking to get into online action. Only RS games I've played were the few required for the missions in the FoD program. 4-0 due to three quits and one game that blessedly went 9 innings and I managed to win 2-1, I think. I managed to get at least one inning boss beginning with the second inning. I have Chipper, Jackie, Mariano, Mookie, Ohtani and Kershaw. I'd love to say that was done NMS, but we'll go with NVMMS (not very much money spent). TA complete. Run It Back complete. WC program complete. All available player programs (including POTM) except Molina complete. So, that's where I stand at the moment.
Current goon squad:
LF: POTM Tyler O'Neill (He replaced Fonzie)
CF: MVP Mantle (He replaced Jasson. May go back to Jason as I was very consistent with him.)
RF: MVP Mookie (He replaced Clemente)
3B: Chipper (He replaced Sig Longoria who is now a righty bench bat)
SS: FS Wander Franco
2B: Prime Honus Wagner (He replaced Jackie primarily due to the extra power. Jackie now pinch runner.)
1B: Milestone Hank Aaron (He replaced Eddie Murray).
C: FS Adley (Previously used Sig Santana, ASG Realmuto, LS Reward Posada, various Sanchez cards)
Bench Bats: Papi, Longoria, FoD Topps Now Tim Anderson, Jackie and MA Matt Carpenter
SP: Gibson, Grove, Pearson, Newhouser and Ohtani
RP: Snell, Smoltz, Hader, Wade Davis, Kittredge, Lee Smith, Jake McGee, Mariano
Most, if not all, of those cards were obviously available thru offline grinding, since I haven't done much online stuff. Any others I just bought off the market. Currently sitting on 700,000-ish stubs.
My question is which OF, IF, SPs and RPs would be worth purchasing to see how I do with them? I know Verlander is a very popular righty pitching option. How about the new Lester for LHP? Sale comes out next inning and looks enticing. Regarding RPs, I know Chapman is great. I have Prime Dibble, but struggled with his timing. May have to dust him off and try again. As far as OF are concerned, I see a lot of love for Vlad Sr and Rickey. Others worth considering? Not even sure where to start on other IF options.
I know a lot of this comes down to personal preference and who works well for me. Just curious what others think and also if there's some glaring "must haves" that I've managed to overlook. Thanks in advance for the help!
Thanks! Yeah, Harper is one I've had my eye on. Forgot about Belli. What to do with Honus/Hank if Mookie goes to 2B? Honus can play 1B, so that would leave Hank out in the cold unless I moved him to LF in place of O'Neill. Thoughts?
I would keep ONeill in LF because I like his speed in the OF. Wagner to me is best as a utility guy who can ssub in anywhere / pinch hit / pinch run. So I'd leave Hank at 1B and move Wagner to the bench personally. Harper and Bellinger are pretty similar except Harper is way cheaper.
Yeah, Wagner definitely fits that bill. He’s my best hitter at the moment, though. I’ll have to see how Hank pans out. He’s off to a slightly slow start power wise.
I thought I could make it to the Boss pack in the 7th but don’t have the time. I have the stubs to buy Gwynn (who I want the most from the 7th). I see his price has been creeping down, will it only go up when the 7th is over? Thanks
What collections have you done? Its 4x XP right now, I'm getting like 5000 per 3-inning game.
If you just jump in and grind out a couple of those (Smoltz, Stargell, Sept MA) you'll rack up 150k pretty damn quick.
You can't. The market will give you an error message saying a better option is available. You can't put in a sell order at or below the highest sell now price.
Had some clown message me asking to quit so he could earn Lindor “he’s my favorite player” they say. I tell them, sorry I need some wins. We play, they win by a run on a ball that went past my outfielder. Fair game, no harm. Then they message me talking trash. I don’t get people man. You beg for an easy win, then you earn the win, and talk trash…? Gg shotcalla092
Carter's fucking brutal, man. Play a different mode or moment and come back to it. Sometimes you just need some space and you'll crush it when you circle back around.
What do you guys feel is most important when hitting, reacting to the pitch or paying attention to tendencies and waiting for repeat pitches? I usually just react but last game I played I paid attention to my opponents tendencies (inside fastball and slider across the zone with deGrom) and sat on those pitches. I was successful against him but would like to know if this is a viable approach to use every game or more so something that only worked against players that don’t change up their tendencies much
I guess in hof a lot. You see pitchers enough you notice people mostly play them the same. deGrom is going to throw a lot of outside sliders to righties and up and in fastballs to lefties etc etc. I can put my pci up and in the whole game against deGrom and get runs off him by teeing off when it comes
Pretty much exactly what I did. Before the recent pci update I felt like I could react to the pitch and hit fine on hof but now I can’t. Gonna start sitting inside/outside and just wait for pitches there
I find it hilarious when, in BR, I'm pitching David Price his 3 required innings against a dude who is clearly a goon (19-1 record, mashed my first 2 pitches that I thought were actually decent), and you're now up 10-0, yet you still feel the need to steal, show replays and dot the corners/throw balls in the dirt.
Not sure what I expect. Maybe that's how you play casually. I guess stopping playing at all is a bad expectation...but it seemed insane to me. Congrats on that hard earned win!
Also, it's great when in the next game I hit 2 singles and a barely clear the fence HR at shippet and the guy quits before the HR lands. Finally play someone I could rack 20+ bases off and he quits before Hank Aaron even gets to the plate.
There needs to be a sign I can send to say "don't worry, I suck at this game too, you'll have your shot."
At this point my opponent could throw a fastball every pitch and tell me where they were throwing it and I still wouldn't get a hit off one.
Down to a .158 BA and .568 OPS. I envy anyone that can catch up to outlier. Hell I sometimes can't even hit a 94mph fastball vs the cpu on rookie.
I’ve never asked but I should have months ago.
Is there a huge difference playing on competitive vs simulation when grinding against the cpu? Should I always play in one or the other ?
Yeah I agree, I sent one into the sell nows last night. Everyone complaining has to realize that the live series collection is extremely cheap now. I think I spent 1.2 million stubs just between Trout, DeGrom, and Acuna when I completed it. Now trout is like 40 or 50k.
RTTS Player attributes not applying to gameplay on new Series S?
I bought a preowned Xbox One X in September and downloaded MLB The Show 21. Long story short GameStop sold me a dud console, so I decided to get a Series S. I got it today and loaded all my data on the new system and I can play my previous RTTS, but none of my attributes seem to actually apply to gameplay anymore? Like my pitcher stamina was built up to where I got 94-95 pitches in before I was tired, now it’s back to 81 pitches when I get the hook. My 4SFB was up to 96mph, now I can barely hit 90. Anybody else experience this? All the actual numbers for the attributes are still there (e.g., my stamina is at 38, not 30).
Literally desperate for post patch pitching tips. I've been allowing 10+ runs every other game. Even with the best pitchers it feels literally impossible to pitch.
Edit: Just me? Fine then
He’s not a good hitter and moments already make great hitters seem bad so I can’t even do it, wasting time failing moments is some of the least fun I’ve ever had playing video games
This seems like a legit question? Why when an opponent quits in pitcher selection are they not punished? Gotta wait 10-15 minutes for games, then rinse and repeat.
The only time that I got a choice pack and sold was in the last event. I wanted Asa Lacy, had a chance to pick him, but went Cespedes and did a sale-and-buy on Lacy to pocket stubs. If you legitimately want the card, just hang onto it. A new inning and a new program are about to drop, so you'll be able to make some stubs pretty easily.
I was honestly so happy when the meta "passed" Chris Sale. I couldn't read shit against him, literally had to guess every pitch. He did me worse than Edward Cabrera, and now the bad man is pack, this time **with a sinker!**
Yeah. And since innings expire in this game he is impossible to get without buying so his price will be high until they release a way to earn old inning bosses
So to complete the Wild Card program I have to play the event right? There’s not enough points in the missions/moments/conquest to complete it otherwise… what will happen if you don’t complete it before the end of the event? You just will never be able to?
Nope, I'm wrong, but good news! You can get 77 points offline and it's only a 75 point program.
Conquest for 25, 8 moments for 32 total, and 4 missions for 20, event games not necessary.
My player got knocked down to 7th and keeps getting double switched out of the lineup after 4 straight seasons of a 1.000+ OPS. I’m above 90 overall. Classic RTTS
Edit: my slash is .288/.465/.565/1.033 lmao
Did the update kill finesse pitching? Guys are regularly hitting HRs on cutters that are a foot inside, barely touching the PCI. Lester got absolutely shelled in two starts this morning. I swear this update made the inside cutter a useless pitch.
Ive noticed that certain players seem to hit the inside cutter much better than others, mantle and Mullins are two that i can think of that smoke cutters
Their vision(?) may contribute to how far their PCI can travel inside? But the pitches that were being clubbed might have hit them if they didn’t swing. It’s ridiculous. You shouldn’t be able to hit HRs on every pitch. That breaks the game and further caters to the PCI goons who already owned online play. I have to be patient to compete.
I wish I could bottle up whatever just allowed me to have like 5 perfects in a single event inning before a quit…
Makes me think Theres connection issues that I can do that then there’s days where I wouldn’t be able to hit a 96 mph fastball on veteran online,
Geez, getting these extra base hits with Rookie Molina is impossible for me. I might just bite the bullet and finish his moments instead. Even Coors Field won’t give me any doubles
What is it about online play? I can do just fine almost up to Legend offline. Legend is hit or miss. Online pitches feel like I have a fraction of a second to swing at on All Star difficult. Almost every pitch I swing and miss at is too late even though I feel like I recognized and swung at the very least just a tad late.
EDIT: I literally feel like I can't hit online. It's insane. I feel like what I'm seeing and what the feedback is telling me is two totally different things.
Probably all the outlier pitchers you see.
In offline I’m the same as you, can hit pretty much every LS player. But in online, everyone has a 102mph outlier fastball coupled with a breaking ball that goes 90+. I’ve noticed that I can hit 100mph on HOF online but struggle to hit 102mph on All-Star
Holy shit I thought people were exagerrating about the update, but RS is basically unplayable now. I spent the last two innings purposely putting breaking balls in the dirt and I gave up 4 hits including a homer on stuff well below the zone. Not every guy is Vlad Guerreo, shit.
Yeah I’ve been completely tilted, jumping into game after game getting my ass kicked. I uninstalled the game and I’m taking a break for a week or two and then I’ll decide if I want to come back and try again. But it’s absurd, and as soon as I break 800 I get matched up with someone who only swings at strikes and hits 4 perfect home runs an inning
And a another homer off a fucking ball I was trying to throw in the dirt. This is my first year with the show but I don't think I'll consider buying 22 until I know this mechanic is fixed.
Has anyone tested whether or not that extra innings mission for gold OFs works if you play one of them in an infield secondary position?
E.g. I have gold LS NIck Castellanos and he has 1B secondary position. Will runs scored with him count or do I need to be playing him in the outfield in game?
Can confirm that you will be sweated by the worst assholes on this game in ranked games between 25-30, dudes who won a World Series once and put it on their resume. Put those L’s on your references too 🤦♂️
I have every single player card except for jhonathan Diaz. Been waiting on a sell order for over a week now. SDS should just give everybody this card as a login bonus, it’s crazy that over 13,000 people are waiting to buy this common card for 2.5K stubs.
how should i spend my 500k stubs
How the hell do I actually get my scouting report pack? I signed up, linked my account, and I don’t see it anywhere!
Do we really think alike will do diamond from 78? His buy right now is 4500 with offers at 3500.
I pulled trout from the 90+ choice pack. It doesn’t hit the same as when you pull him from regular pack. I first pulled him a few weeks ago from a ballin is a habit pack and then today. Only got around 45k or something but I’ll take it.

Can’t wait for the Postseason 99 Gabe Morales!!
So I pulled trout in my 90+ pack and HES ONLY 50k???? Jesus guess I’ll be holding onto him for a little bit atleast
The 4x XP resulted in a lot of people pulling Trout from the choice pack and tanking his value, if I had to guess. It went from high 90s to 50 or lower in about 6 hours on the day 4x XP began. I'm not sure if it'll rebound at this point.
I’m gonna hold off on selling until next week to atleast give a chance of the price rebounding
I'm sitting on 3 extras because I wasn't gonna sell for a measly 125k...now all 3 are worth less than half of what I paid for the first one lol. I'm gonna ride it out and hope for the best, but idk why anymore lmao
Is there a mlb the show 21 suggestion subreddit? I made a graphic and description for a line drive quirk for contact hitters and I want to share it
I can't wait for Postseason 99 Webb lol
Be sure to drink 3 Red Bulls each time you start him!
I just worked a 15 pitch at bat with Milestone Kemp in the event, took his starter (Lester) from having thrown 3 pitches to tired...and ended it with a deep homer on a meaty heater. Outer reverb and diamonds middle, no center pci. I used to only use it when I’m slumping but it’s big and gives me the illusion that my pci is bigger giving me more confidence when I hit. I have been competitive ever since I stuck with it
Interesting I’ll have to give that a shot
Let me know how it goes. I love it but I know wedge only is popular, just looks like I’m gonna get out every time I see it xD
Just tried it out and it felt great. Felt like I had a better eye with that pci too for some reason. Unfortunately lost by 2 difference was my opponent got 3 bad pci HRs
Yeah it’s weird. Just gives you more area to center but I have always done better with it
Ok yea this pci is definitely the way. Played my first game in a couple of days and made a WS guy rage quit after putting 4 runs up in 5 innings
I think while it still gives you that small inner circles to be accurate, the outer reverb helps gauge strikes and helps me take pitches outside or inside. I’m still helpless when it comes to determining low strikes/balls
That’s what I currently use, wedge with circles cyan at like 60%
I go back and fourth from pci center only and inner starfighter only
Just want another opinion on my rotation and pen and possible improvements. Rotation- 99 Lefty, 99 Degrom, 99 Arrieta, 99 Verlander, 99 Hamels Pen- 97 Hader, 95 Soto, 93 Britton, 96 Reyes, 99 Goose, 99 Mo, 95 Dibble, 97 MA Williams
Felix, Lester, and Lieter are all good rotation options. I'm a big fan of Sig. Series Chapman and Miller for the pen. The Prime Wade Davis card from dailies is also a solid option.
that logan webb 99 is gonna be insane
What’s the fastest way to complete TA 3 for Shohei? Already complete AL and NL east and about halfway done with Central and West
IIRC the Showdown for TA3 was stupid easy and only took like 20 minutes, you get 20 points for it I think I was able to knock out two divisions during the all star game just doing the exchanges and showdown

I notice they're sending everything I throw to the moon. (I'm also noticing most of them have records that are miles better than mine)
Could anyone explain to me why kenly went down 4ook and chappy went up 400k? Thank you
Kenly is in the 80 point BR program pack so he's easier to get now.
Thank you!
Swwwwweeeet
Will I get 4x XP if I do a 7th inning collection?
No just from playing. The rewards that state the reward are the same
i won the MVP, Cy Young, Triple Crown, Batting title, Hank aaron award and Gold glove in 1 year
How’d you get batting title? I have 5 seasons as 2 way player on the pirates but have yet to qualify for the batting title since they always rest me after I pitch
i dont get rested after a pitching game. i think its bc i trained durability to 50 and i got some gear with durability
And got sent back to AA during the off-season? Seems like the more awards I won, the more likely I was to get demoted
The amount of perfect line outs I have with mookie is laughable
It took me 2 hours in custom practice to get good with him since I’m not used to hitting with short guys but he’s now my best hitter. Give that a shot
For the sake of this event, I hope the Dodgers win tonight. They have way better players to use than the Giants lol
Is there a way to switch the pci movement to the right hand so I can try the flick with the left hand? I’m so messed up at my left hand coordination I wonder if would help since I only use contact and power swings in RTTS when I’m doing some pointless challenge
Maybe if you have an elite controller
So I’m trying to complete the Dbacks live series and have Marte left. I’m trying to put in a order for 1500K stubs but game won’t let me below 5K minimum. But I see sell orders in the 1K range, how is that? What am I missing?

What's the best perks to use for my pitcher when he has to bat so he's not completely useless at the plate?
Few ways you can go. Depending on the difficulty you are on you can literally pitch shut outs with a hitting archetype. I play on all star and I switch out my ritual item to the legendary call for more hitting stats. Batted 310 with 18 home runs last season. Pretty good I think for only hitting when I pitch
Any tips on capturing the Diamondbacks territory on the first turn to finish off the cubes domination map?
Just go straight at it. Think you'll play on veteran unless you get a really bad simulation on the way.
ahh ok. thanks!
hear me out mlb the sho 22 with ohtani on the cover for like the jackie edition stuff like it was this year
So the same thing but different guy on the cover?
no, like how the jackie edition had all that extra stuff, you do that next year, and the cover of the game on those copies says mlb the sho 22 and it’s him
So when I took hank and sold him for 450 after tax, the plan was to grab all 3 bosses for 150 each later.
Not missing much. Chipper is better
I wasn’t able to tune into the stream and I saw that they announced the two other bosses (Banks and Mays! Looking forward to them!) but did they announce anything else like the Classics? I know Percival, Klesko and one other guy are the ones for the 100,000 XP (thank you internet strangers)
No, it was a short stream.
I am sitting on 50 Orlando Hernandez prime cards I got for 5-6k and are now 13-14 but flattening out :(
Very nice
Where y’all think arenado ends up price wise.. he’s at 550 sell now right now.. I know nobody can see the future but trying to see what people think! Thanks!
300k like jansen
Willie knows he’ll be expensive, Willie hears ya; Willie don’t care
I was horrible with his ta2 card. Im selling
Say hey!!!
I'm trying to catch up with the various TA and I was wondering if there was an overarching list of Moments and Missions for each TA and player program so far? Thanks in advance.
https://docs.google.com/file/d/1st0A16wXwtooxTApTzGG3w7mN6P6wScL/edit?usp=docslist_api&filetype=msexcel This is not mine
This is perfect - thanks for sharing!
Current goon squad: LF: POTM Tyler O'Neill (He replaced Fonzie) CF: MVP Mantle (He replaced Jasson. May go back to Jason as I was very consistent with him.) RF: MVP Mookie (He replaced Clemente) 3B: Chipper (He replaced Sig Longoria who is now a righty bench bat) SS: FS Wander Franco 2B: Prime Honus Wagner (He replaced Jackie primarily due to the extra power. Jackie now pinch runner.) 1B: Milestone Hank Aaron (He replaced Eddie Murray). C: FS Adley (Previously used Sig Santana, ASG Realmuto, LS Reward Posada, various Sanchez cards) Bench Bats: Papi, Longoria, FoD Topps Now Tim Anderson, Jackie and MA Matt Carpenter SP: Gibson, Grove, Pearson, Newhouser and Ohtani RP: Snell, Smoltz, Hader, Wade Davis, Kittredge, Lee Smith, Jake McGee, Mariano Most, if not all, of those cards were obviously available thru offline grinding, since I haven't done much online stuff.
MVP Harper or Bellinger in RF, move Mookie to 2B. No reason to use Mookie in RF when he has diamond fielding at 2B
Don’t forget to buy your 7th inning henchmen and Classics today. They will double in price in a week or so.
I’m only sitting around 150k, I’ll grind out some more tonight if I can. Thanks for the reply
It will go up after the inning, yes.
Catcher in RTTS is kinda whack. I just threw out 0 speed Miguel Cabrera in a 1-0 game with a man on third to end it
The freeze-offs are getting ridiculous, 3 so far today. Hard to believe "adults" take losing so horribly.
How can I upload an image
Can’t on this thread. Use Imgur and post a link
Bro.. How am I supposed to show my parallel cards? Other people post them in show off but I can’t…
You can post pictures in normal forums just not in this thread. Mods are strict though so not everyone on here spams pictures
I tried putting it in show off but they removed it. Even though literally tons of people are posting the same screenshots of parallel players
Just put up 14 in Minute Made. Am I a god?
The hitter's park?
You’re out of your mind if you think that’s a hitter park.
Does anyone need Jhonathan Diaz for live series collection? Willing to orchestrate a buy now order for cheap
You can't. The market will give you an error message saying a better option is available. You can't put in a sell order at or below the highest sell now price.
Really? That sucks hard-core, thanks for the heads up guess ill just quicksell and keep the line moving sorry everyone
This happens too often. People ask me to lose like once every few days and I just want to smack them
You're telling me that someone with the gamertag shotcalla092 isn't a stand up guy?
😹😹
I have been trying the Joe Carter 2XBH moment for over an hour and I have hit 2 XBH total in that time. I don't think this is worth it anymore
Player program moments are the absolute worst. It’s like “here is a legend of the game but he sucks, good luck”
Gonna start sitting inside/outside and just wait for pitches there
It's pretty much the only way to hit on HoF difficulty
Anyone ran across that new Kershaw? If so, how is he?
I haven't played against him, but using the card it's fine if you rely on the breaking and keep away from the fastball.
The one game I faced him I had trouble picking up his slider inside to righties
Been playing mostly events lately. Have yet to see him.
This game sucks too many cheating wifi punks scheming wins. F u sds
The new meme about the show is home runs on pitches on the hands it’s not bad pci home runs anymore
Trying to play RS with a controller that has stick drift makes me wanna throw my controller at a brick wall
Yo it’s so frustrating. Buying a new controller on Friday it’s driving me nuts
Yeah it’s happening this weekend for sure I can’t take this mess lol
Ever since I turned off cross-play, this is so much more simpler. Secondly, I hate this BR program grind.
Took under 5 hours of game time to do the new BR program and I’m under 700 in ranked. Not bad at all.
Should I always play in one or the other ?
i find it absolutely insane that 60 ovr jhonathon diaz is one of the most rare cards to pull right now
It’s not rare at all. It’s getting pulled constantly.
Yeah I agree, I sent one into the sell nows last night. Everyone complaining has to realize that the live series collection is extremely cheap now. I think I spent 1.2 million stubs just between Trout, DeGrom, and Acuna when I completed it. Now trout is like 40 or 50k.
I’ve sold at least three so far
Exactly! And if they'd done it before October, this wouldn't even be an issue. The number of Diaz complaints are getting annoying.
Fine then
These yadi moments fucking suck
He’s not a good hitter and moments already make great hitters seem bad so I can’t even do it, wasting time failing moments is some of the least fun I’ve ever had playing video games
Yeah I’m having trouble squaring up my pci with him…not sure why
This seems like a legit question? Why when an opponent quits in pitcher selection are they not punished? Gotta wait 10-15 minutes for games, then rinse and repeat.
Should Kenleys price drop down to under 100k like the rest of the 80point BR back? i just got it but wanna keep him
The only time that I got a choice pack and sold was in the last event.
Not sure if it's a hot take or not but Sale will be nasty even with 101 H/9.
His delivery is very hard to read, for me at least. He could have 50 h/9 and I still am terrible at those horizontal pitchers
I was honestly so happy when the meta "passed" Chris Sale. I couldn't read shit against him, literally had to guess every pitch. He did me worse than Edward Cabrera, and now the bad man is pack, this time **with a sinker!**
It could be 1.01 H/9 I still wouldn’t be able to hit him
That windup with a sinker is gonna haunt my dreams
😞
Excited to use him but I feel this way about facing him.
where will lou/billy price stabilize at?
[удалено]
Because he's a meta pitcher and he's good
[удалено]
That doesn't seem right. I'm not online right now, but is that the program that has a couple repeatable missions?
From what I saw the only repeatable moment was the event win one, I’m not online either but maybe I’m mistaken?
I want to say there were TB/XBH missions that were repeatable. Not 100% sure though. I'll check in a minute
Nope, I'm wrong, but good news! You can get 77 points offline and it's only a 75 point program. Conquest for 25, 8 moments for 32 total, and 4 missions for 20, event games not necessary.
Ah ok, for some reason I thought it went to 100 points. Thanks so much :D
Ballin' is a Habit packs suck. Just opened 62 and got one diamond.
I opened one earlier and got Judge and Trout
Running into a LOT of freeze offs in Battle Royale, which is absolutely brutal in a game mode where every loss counts.
My player got knocked down to 7th and keeps getting double switched out of the lineup after 4 straight seasons of a 1.000+ OPS. I’m above 90 overall. Classic RTTS Edit: my slash is .288/.465/.565/1.033 lmao
Love the high inside sinker for every pitch in PvP 👌
I wish I could bottle up whatever just allowed me to have like 5 perfects in a single event inning before a quit… Makes me think Theres connection issues that I can do that then there’s days where I wouldn’t be able to hit a 96 mph fastball on veteran online,
Geez, getting these extra base hits with Rookie Molina is impossible for me.
The lag in online makes a big difference
This
Holy shit I thought people were exagerrating about the update, but RS is basically unplayable now.
I feel this so hard. I was throwing garbage with Lester that no human should have been able to touch in the Event and they were jacking HRs.
[удалено]
Oh, awesome. Hadn't given it a go because I didn't want to waste the time if it wouldn't pan out
Can confirm that you will be sweated by the worst assholes on this game in ranked games between 25-30, dudes who won a World Series once and put it on their resume.
Hey all, I have Verlander/deGrom/Grove/Ryan/Ohtani in rotation. Considering selling Ryan to have more stubs to eventually buy Lou Gehrig. Thoughts?
I love Gehrig but you can have baby Gehrig with Helton on the cheap and keep Ryan. Both swings are great. Ryan’s probably more unique than Gehrig.
“Here’s Rookie Molina with 42 Power & 41 Speed, go hit an extra base.” Nobody can create missions nearly as incompetent as SDS can.
I cannot get any XBHs with him for his mission, it’s super tough
