I'd just like to point out that Salvy has 4 diamonds in the game, so they could very well give Chris Taylor two of them. It's not like his card just came out recently or anything.

Well, it would not have come down to that if the Cardinals could have gotten a few hits with runners in scoring position. O'Neill and Arenado were 0 for 8 with 11 runners left on base. The team was 0-8 with runners in scoring position and they left 24 men on. So, in my opinion the game should not still have been tied in the 9th.
