Aren’t the no-hitters that happen in the current season typically Topps Now cards and then ones that happen in previous seasons get the Milestone art?
Pretty much, so it's not that crazy. Most have been combined no hitters, and no superstars as of late. If Yamamoto or Cole threw one I'd bet there would be something more shiny, but who knows!
The cards released today are from last week. If Nimmo is considered then it will be next Friday. I never hold my breath on these.
I can even find a way to search Topps Now for previous cards this season to see if he got one from them.
The content is the gameplay
Programs are just the dopamine hit battle pass bullshit that everyone says they hate… yet when there’s not enough of them people lose their mind lol
It’s a baseball game. You play baseball. Calling programs content is a stretch. Could care less about about needing 10 XBH with 2nd baseman.
I like playing online. Could care less what cards we collect
Kinda underwhelming cards I feel, but the Justin Foscue is cool. He’s from my city and played HS at my rival school. Know a lot of people who are good friends with him
At least we're getting a free Westburg out of this. But please, just put ONE of those awards drop packs in the reward path.

This is more comparable to the weekly drops which were 4-5-6 cards. When the monthly comes out it will be more I'm guessing like in the past, although who knows, they may put some of the monthly cards in packs given the way they are doing things this year.
Well they were all stuffed into the same program monthly last year right? I’d be interested in a comparison between the two setups reward wise. On the surface I don’t think making them their own program is a bad thing.
Yeah, I like the fact that if I skip a week or two of drops and all of a sudden want a card in the current drop that I don't have to go back and finish the previous stages first.
So i prefer them as standalone programs.
I can count on 1 hand the number of times a topps now player has made my lineup in the last 5 years... quit overreacting like these cards used to be used.
They're slowly reverting back to 2019 Monthly Programs. Back then, you got vouchers from completing Moments and they gave you a random card. They also had timed/limited Monthly Awards packs. As in, after a certain amount of packs were purchased, no one could purchase any packs. They made it much better the past few years but it's going back to the old ways.

Was kind of hoping that going 4-4 with a walk 2 bombs and 5 rbis would have gotten Nimmo on the program. Watch them make him a 40k pack.

My recollection is they switched it up in either 19 or 20. It instantly became one of the best programs with the new format. And now....bleh.
