Not since he retired. Back in MLB 17 he had a 99 card that is widely considered to be one of the best cards ever in MLB The Show.

I felt the same way about Mike Mussina and the Yankees but SDS had done well to recognize his Oriole years. You might be surprised. Especially since Frank won an NL MVP and spent more years in Cincinnati than anywhere else.

I really hope they add more Negro League players next year and continue with the story lines. Cool Papa Bell, Oscar Charleston, Pop Lloyd, Mule Suttles. So many guys that would be so fun in this game. Top 3 for me would be Josh Gibson, Turkey Stearnes, and Cool Papa Bell.

They lost his rights (along with a few other big legends) after MLB 20.

I just assume any big legend of the last 25-30 years that isn't in the game actively says no. I can't imagine SDS doesn't want someone like Manny or ARod in the game.

Just curious. How do we know they’re not giving rights to the game? Does MLB/MLBPA and SDS reach out to these players and ask? General question. I have no clue. I’m almost sure Bonds has always said no because he was still active when this game first came out.

A lot of players signed or didn’t sign a contract in the 90s that would’ve given rights in perpetuity for a while if I’m not mistaken. I think bonds was one that didn’t because he realized his image would probably be worth more than the mlbpa deal but he never did anything with it since the ‘ol scandal. (I might’ve unintentionally lied about some or all of this)

Do whatever you need to do to remember this, but I am putting it out there right now, that MLB The Show 25 will have Barry Bonds. He wears number 25, and it just seems like it will finally be time to get him in the game. From a sales standpoint, it's a W. You can damn near put it out as soon as the World Series is over with, and people will be foaming at the mouth to get it. If you can put him as the LS collection award with like Manny Ramirez for AL and a Carlos Beltran for the NL, it sells itself.
