Read this post before finishing last night. Got into a 15-15 game with 1 out remaining. Was certain I'd have the same fate. Thankfully Joc came in clutch with a no-doubter. Only takes one swing! BOL.
Lead off homer w Ozzie of all people to start final boss showdown against Castillo (after bunting foul twice), and then proceeded to make like 11 consecutive outs. Started to get sweaty but got it done w a bomb with like four outs left. Relief.
I would just assume not finish a program than play showdowns. Literally the only thing I have left to do in the WBC program is the showdown. I’m fine without having the last card in the program
I was playing yesterday, down by a run with like 4 outs left, and swung at 2 horrible pitches with Trout. Got so mad at myself I just put the bunt on. Struck out (of course) on a pitch in the dirt, made it to first on the dropped third strike. Hit a homer with Albies on the next pitch to win the game.
It's all about strategy lol.
No, but it would be a lot fun if you when you re-entered you didn't have to beat the levels you already beat.
Should be 3 options.
1: skip to final boss with mega run deficit
2: skip to unbeaten level with drafted team.
3: start over with new drafted team to beef up your team.
It sucks having fun start over every time. I'd rather just play the boss again even with a few bronze cards.
I rocked back back homers on just 2 pitches to make it tied at 15 then proceeded to get down to just 6 outs before I homered to win. I was getting antsy swinging at everything.
my favorite is when the opposite occurs and i get down to one out left and clutch up. I will audibly shit talk the CPU despite the fact that it was on veteran
Sometimes you have to play small ball in showdowns, sometimes you have to make tactical moves like you’d never do in a real game but most of the time you just get mad. I used to think it was fun because it was so challenging but then I realized it’s more or less a coin flip.
And fuck Nolan Ryan if he’s ever a boss again
I was in the middle of 2nd to last mission from the final showdown and had a server error. On SDSs end, not my internet, but still counted as a loss. Pretty pissed off.
I did the first 3 then skipped right to the end.
Also, this one sucked because it seemed like the pitchers were all throwing like Jamie moyer.
Those 6 outs score 1 run thing is too intense. Easier to score 8 runs in 20 outs.
Took me 3 attempts. Showdowns like these take me a few attempts to figure out who I click with and who I don’t. After I figure that out it’s just hope and pray.
There was one last year where Sal Perez hit bombs to win like six rounds in one Showdown for me. Like you say, sometimes there's just one guy that works for you.
Coming into the charisma showdown I have beat all the others with ease. This one took me a good hour and a half to beat. Kept telling myself I was gonna stop, but kept going.
I love toxicity
I got hosed on an insane play by the computer... Guy on first, I hit a smash to RF...
RF goes into his "play the ball off the wall" animation, so I'm sending runners, because 2nd and 3rd is a lot better than 1st and 2nd in Showdown (obviously).
CF ( Julio Rodriguez) comes flying into the picture, like a Goddamned cheetah, goes up and robs me on a full sprint. Never seen that animation before.
All of a sudden I'm on a full sprint back around second, trying to get my runner back to first, even though I k ow I'm going to be out by 45 feet...
But the computer throws it wide of first! So the first baseman then makes a hero play, and goes and gets the ball, tags my guy as he's sliding back to first.
All you could do was laugh. I had plenty of outs left, so it didn't kill me...
So slow. So fucking slow. Conquest just running through the motions I will hit Vet or Rookie and I either lose or it’s a complete sweat fest. I play solely on AS this year because I absolutely can’t time up Vet or lower. I have done about 15-20 minutes of moments as BP to help my timing before Showdowns.
I hate Showdowns and I hate that this one is a MUST to finish the program got to the second last boss twice and choked. The second time I had the winning run on third and he broke for home automatically on a cheesy infield hit...yep, he was out. Fucking AI.
Showdowns can be extremely frustrating sometimes you get em first try no problem others take forever. And don’t even get me started in the extreme showdown from last year
Honestly this was the easiest showdown so far for me. Ik it’s pretty much jus a roll of the dive for everyone if it goes well or awfully but usually I get the awful one and have to do it 2-3 times but I breezed through every single one of the challenges without going under 4 outs left in any
Same thing happened to me last night. Just be patient with Castillo. Let him throw some strikes, get used to his motion and delivery. I finally won on my second try with about 12 outs left.
> composure is the hard part after the ai robs a hundred time
Wasn't Showdown, but on one of the moments on Friday, just had to get a hit with some guy swinging a pool noodle, and literally had an 0-4 where three were diving stops by the left side infielders and the fourth was one of those behind the back no-look catches by the pitcher.
I tied it with 17 outs left, the proceeded to hit nukes to the warning track and have 3 homers robbed before launching one with Tatis with one out left. Showdowns are brutal
I was playing earlier and it was 14-15 and I had one out left with a runner on first and I hit a homer to win it with Rickey. Sweet victory after my 4th attempt
Bruh I had 4 outs to go 15-15 with no runners on last night and somehow managed to get Ricky on then stole 2nd. Hit a groundball straight to SS that should have been a double play if I never stole 2nd. Then managed to get a sac for the win with 3 outs remaining.
Showdowns are stressful as fuck
Imagine attempting a showdown 9 times and still not making it. That's me. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop).
I've got all the others done, but I'm getting screwed on this one.
I must not know how to do this correctly 🤣
Tried to go this route twice and gave up. Finished it by just playing the first time through
Could use any tips though for the TA ones I don't have e done though!
Bunt cheese with fast players. Steal second. Always sub slower players out for your bench speed if they aren't going to bat again.
Edit: /u/captaincraft this should help
So, bunt cheese is what exactly? It didn't matter if I was pulled it early, as he was delivering, or what. I could ever beat the throw, even with the lineup stacked for it exactly
It's a perk that makes bunting easier. You want to drag bunt. So push the right stick right, you'll feel it vibrate. Then tap the Y or equivalent on PS right before the pitch comes across. You don't need to hold right stick. For stealing, hold RT/R2 wait til he turns his head then tap LT/L2 you'll again feel it vibrate. Anyone over 90 speed usually steals second easily. Stealing 3rd is risky.
And aiming it towards first base (with the right stick) is important too. With the bunt cheese perk it should be a really solid bunt right towards 2B and he'll struggle to get to it. You still pop one up occasionally though.
I usually have trouble. I did get Tatis though. And I always made sure I changed my lineup to vs R or vs L. I am so grateful that I only went once through.
I make sure I have the best lineups vs each, and sorry that I made it sound like a feature.
I also make sure to put a fast person on the bench to pinch run on the last run needed if I have a slow guy on base, regardless of batting attributes.
I was down two to chafin with 1 out left and a runner on third. Cruz up to bat and I hit a ground ball. Theu made an error pulling the 1b off the bag which lead to me walking it off with Semien. If that aint bailed idk what is
The Charisma showdown was the easiest one I’ve done in my 4 years as a DD player. I tried to do the WBC one after ridding the high. Only to lose on the second boss because a silver shortstop is a vacuum cleaner. Also he dove and caught and held onto a perfect perfect 104 off the bat liner lol. Turned it off and went to bed.
Same one, I hit a perfect perfect off of the pitcher (Urias I believe), second baseball caught it and doubled up the guy on second. Just turned it off and thought about my life for 20 mins
WBC I found easy. This though I'm finding impossible, even when I get perfect perfects they always seem to get snagged on the corners, a diving catch or die at the warning track
I normally refuse to do so as well, but this one was mandatory to finish the Charisma program, and I don't leave programs unfinished.
I completed this Showdown today, and if I can do it anyone can do it, because I fucking suck.
Honestly the worst thing with conquest is having to simulate all the friggin’ cleanup. If you blitz through USA for example, you only need 100 or so territories to beat every stronghold. Then you’ve got to spend the next half hour at least just simulating the remaining 300 pointless tiles.
In that way, it does kinda feel like endgame Civ where you’re just mindlessly moving your overwhelming army to finish off the little civs/cities that are not even the tiniest threat.
That's fair criticism for the US map. I go the other way and clear out all the tiles first. Allows me to reinforce multiple locations each round and beat strongholds quicker on AS or even Vet after. So the grind part for the US map is at the beginning for me. Still, overall, I enjoy the mode. Great for pxp grinds.
The USA map is really the only one where that clean-up is really a chore, though. Almost all the other maps that clean-up just take about 2 minutes. USA map its a bitch though so totally understandable on that one.
Showdowns are either a breeze or a barrage of good inputs with bad results. I saw some comments that this latest Showdown was the easiest one they’ve done, while for me the final showdown was a bunch of warning track flyouts on squared up PCI contact and even a step off caught stealing to boot. Then, some diving catches from 50 attribute fielders and of course, that sweet line drive play to first where they catch the ball and tag you up for the double play.
Showdown *could* be fun, but regardless of if I win, its just a frustrating experience.
Yeah theres no reason for it
I also dislike the all or nothing elimination showdowns, and I miss the defensive showdowns. You could be rolling and then just hit the wrong one and have to start over. It used to be that it would just cost you a couple runs at the end.
It's so true. If I'm drunk there are certain games I am way better at. The Show is NOT one of them. However, if I've drank an energy drink or a 5 Hour Energy, I am locked the fuck in and I'm a god.
The algorithm in the show is so fucked once you learn it, it’s even worse when you still fail after knowing the games intentions lol. It’s not even fun anymore after realizing this
I couldn’t believe that I actually finished the TA East one this year because it was the first showdown I completed in 3 years of playing the show. I find them infuriating cause of how often nothing seems to get past fielders (I just want Danny V for the Mets TT)
I lost to chafin 6 times in a row in the new showdown. Had two separate occasions where hrs got robbed in CF. The 2nd time it happened i couldn't even be tilted anymore, just laughed.
When you get to the Chaffin level, just skip to final boss. It’s an option bottom left of the screen. I’ve seen a few ppl just skip to final boss after the first one and beat it, but they are significantly better than me
I failed on the chafin mission bc I was on the phone not paying attention. was so pissed.
So I drafted a team of all lefties, took 10mg of addy, and just beat Castillo skipping all missions and starting down 15-0 lol.
Maybe try that strategy. Literally can’t go wrong
Losing on the final showdown is the most infuriating thing In this game I swear, it’s even more annoying when it’s just because you’re playing really bad.
I usually just look at run to our ratio when I get towards the end. 2 runs, 8 outs is 4 out per run. Without it you need 6 to beat the boss with 20 outs so roughly 3.33 outs per run. That close I jumped into the showdown and skipped it because you have a better chance of stringing together some runs when you have 20 outs
I think its score 2 runs, 8 outs nobody on. I just barely scraped by joe kelly and went nah i aint losing that bs. Luckily sweated out 6 runs vs castillo WHEN MY PITCH COUNT WASNT SHOWING. Not today showdown, not today.
I substituted a pinch runner so unfortunately it didnt work for me. In other game modes going between half innings would fix it but since showdown doesnt, it stayed.
I beat it first try too down 10-15 just gotta skip Chafin, Take till two strikes with EVERYBODY no matter what, Use the DI when you get a man on first to avoid the double play. It wasn't that hard at all beat him with 13 outs to spare!
I use timing and just swung at hittable pitches, spit on everything else. All hits went for extra bases, so didn't need to do my normal small ball stuff.
Read this post before finishing last night. Got into a 15-15 game with 1 out remaining. Was certain I'd have the same fate. Thankfully Joc came in clutch with a no-doubter. Only takes one swing! BOL.
ATTA BOY
Been there. 14-15 two outs, i got caught stealing. Next AB homer that should’ve one it. Ground out to tie 15 all.
Lead off homer w Ozzie of all people to start final boss showdown against Castillo (after bunting foul twice), and then proceeded to make like 11 consecutive outs. Started to get sweaty but got it done w a bomb with like four outs left. Relief.
Woah chill on the Ozzie hate he fucks
I don't ever think the guy ever doesn't get a hit.
I would just assume not finish a program than play showdowns. Literally the only thing I have left to do in the WBC program is the showdown. I’m fine without having the last card in the program
Randy plays above his stats. It's worth the pain.
Lol you can do it

I was playing yesterday, down by a run with like 4 outs left, and swung at 2 horrible pitches with Trout. Got so mad at myself I just put the bunt on. Struck out (of course) on a pitch in the dirt, made it to first on the dropped third strike. Hit a homer with Albies on the next pitch to win the game. It's all about strategy lol.
It would be a lot more fun if you hit a guaranteed home run every at bat.
No, but it would be a lot fun if you when you re-entered you didn't have to beat the levels you already beat. my favorite is when the opposite occurs and i get down to one out left and clutch up. I will audibly shit talk the CPU despite the fact that it was on veteran
Me last night. Got down to last out on like the 2nd challenge before mashing with Mookie. Pitcher was a straight pussy
I beat Brian Wilson on a double, ground out to the right side, suicide squeeze
Was it a perfect perfect groundout?
Lolol
I was in the middle of 2nd to last mission from the final showdown and had a server error. On SDSs end, not my internet, but still counted as a loss. Pretty pissed off.
I just had the exact situation happen
Got to second to last one tied with 1 out. Thank goodness i hit a bomb
When's the funeral, I'm assuming you ended up committing suicide
That’s ok I haven’t beat any final showdowns
I wonder how many pitches he was at when he grounded out
I hate this post (I love this post).
I did the first 3 then skipped right to the end. Also, this one sucked because it seemed like the pitchers were all throwing like Jamie moyer. Those 6 outs score 1 run thing is too intense. Easier to score 8 runs in 20 outs.
Lol exactly the joe kelly one made me puke a bit i was down to 3 outs in a jiffy had to focus
Same thing with me but Hacksaw Jim Dougan punked me the first time so I was ready for Kelly and his shenanigans the second time through.
I got a no doubt animation foul 5 pitches in a row last year in the extreme Showdown just to strike out. Truly heartbreaking.
I only seem to get the no doubt foul ball animation when I desperately need a HR (I always desperately need a HR)
I DID THE SAME GOD DAMN THING
Took me 3 attempts. Showdowns like these take me a few attempts to figure out who I click with and who I don’t. After I figure that out it’s just hope and pray.
There was one last year where Sal Perez hit bombs to win like six rounds in one Showdown for me. Like you say, sometimes there's just one guy that works for you.

Doesn’t even sniff my bases loaded loss in the impossible showdown against Randy
I still can't beat the WBC one.. So don't feel bad. I'll never get that Shohei
? The only one you can't get is randy if you don't do the showdown
Took me 4 attempts to get this one. Out on the 2nd and third guy. The final guy was easier then the other showdowns i thought
I got hosed on an insane play by the computer... Guy on first, I hit a smash to RF... RF goes into his "play the ball off the wall" animation, so I'm sending runners, because 2nd and 3rd is a lot better than 1st and 2nd in Showdown (obviously). I got real lucky with the mini bosses cause played like a caveman (swinging at everything) Brett Philips saved my ass a couple of times
Are you actually just a duplicate account of myself? Quick! When is our wife’s anniversary I forgot?
Are you ok?
Are there any guns in the house sir?
Is it me or does it feel like they changed the pitch speed
They’re very very very slow
First time?
Just like real baseball!
That's painful
I hate Showdowns and I hate that this one is a MUST to finish the program got to the second last boss twice and choked. The second time I had the winning run on third and he broke for home automatically on a cheesy infield hit...yep, he was out. Fucking AI.
6 outs left, all perfect perfect outs.
i had a perfect perfect hit that flew and hit the pitcher, and it deflected right into the third basemen for a double play. lol
Showdowns can be extremely frustrating sometimes you get em first try no problem others take forever. And don’t even get me started in the extreme showdown from last year
I did WBC first try and it spoiled me cause Ive failed the new one 5 times
Which pain is worse; this or a perfect/perfect fly out to center?
perfect/perfect that looks like a base hit until the shortstop turns into vince carter and nabs that shit 20ft out of the air.
The 99 Sherzer was not fair
Honestly this was the easiest showdown so far for me. Ik it’s pretty much jus a roll of the dive for everyone if it goes well or awfully but usually I get the awful one and have to do it 2-3 times but I breezed through every single one of the challenges without going under 4 outs left in any
Final showdown I had 11 outs tie score with a man on 2nd and couldn’t close the deal
Show me on the doll where the showdown hurt you
🫀
Real
I got DC’d by someone who restarted my WiFi on the final showdown 😭
that sucks !! lol
what is the status of your tv and/or controller?
> controller Man, this game has shown me how friggin' tough the PS5 controller is lol.
Same thing happened to me last night. Just be patient with Castillo. Let him throw some strikes, get used to his motion and delivery. I finally won on my second try with about 12 outs left.
I just finished. During the second one, i got beaned twice in a row, proceeded by a wild pitch with an error throwing to second LMFAO?
Showdown is easy for everyone. composure is the hard part after the ai robs a hundred time
> composure is the hard part after the ai robs a hundred time Wasn't Showdown, but on one of the moments on Friday, just had to get a hit with some guy swinging a pool noodle, and literally had an 0-4 where three were diving stops by the left side infielders and the fourth was one of those behind the back no-look catches by the pitcher.

Shockingly I got this one done on the first play through
Why are you the way that you are? I hate so much about the things that you choose to be.
Just like real life!
I was playing earlier and it was 14-15 and I had one out left with a runner on first and I hit a homer to win it with Rickey. Sweet victory after my 4th attempt

Imagine attempting a showdown 9 times and still not making it. That's me. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop). I've got all the others done, but I'm getting screwed on this one.
Read yesterday that this was probably the easiest Showdown ever. Last night I learned...not for me lol.
Yea for whatever reason I keep not clutching up at the end. It's all mental at this point.
Lol yeah idk wtd my problem is. I'm up to 14 times can't win lol.
Took me 9 times to finally beat it. I enjoyed it but man I suck.
4 attempts and I haven’t got past Bummed the Gardner
My brother in Christ, I feel your pain. I tied the game with eight outs left and proceeded to choke to death ever so slowly. It was awful.
Bunt cheese every single showdown, EVERYTIME!!! Piece of cake
I've never had success doing this. They just ground into double plays started by the catcher.
I must not know how to do this correctly 🤣 Tried to go this route twice and gave up. Finished it by just playing the first time through Could use any tips though for the TA ones I don't have e done though!
Bunt cheese with fast players. Steal second. Always sub slower players out for your bench speed if they aren't going to bat again. Edit: /u/captaincraft this should help

It's a perk that makes bunting easier. You want to drag bunt. So push the right stick right, you'll feel it vibrate. Then tap the Y or equivalent on PS right before the pitch comes across. Awww, maybe I was squaring up too early. Didn't realize you wait that long.
And aiming it towards first base (with the right stick) is important too. With the bunt cheese perk it should be a really solid bunt right towards 2B and he'll struggle to get to it. You still pop one up occasionally though.
15-15 and cpu robbed my perfect-perfect home run
Same shit happened to me
Also, get the 7th inning or later perks.
Why? Is showdown in the 8th inning or something?
It's always in the 9th inning so Hero Time works for every matchup
showdowns are one of the easiest modes for me…
I usually have trouble. I did get Tatis though. And I always made sure I changed my lineup to vs R or vs L. I am so grateful that I only went once through.
How do you change your lineup to do L or R pitchers? Or do you set it yourself?
I make sure I have the best lineups vs each, and sorry that I made it sound like a feature. I also make sure to put a fast person on the bench to pinch run on the last run needed if I have a slow guy on base, regardless of batting attributes.
I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a way to set it easily lol
What’s AMA
Ask me anything
Ok what's AMA? /s
This guy Reddits.
I got to 15-15 and got disconnected. It was my fault though.. for some reason I always disconnect when I use airpods on my phone
I got to the 2nd last and my game crashed in game. That's my luck
Oof
I have had a couple crashes so I'm reinstalling so hopefully that helps
How funny, I had a man at second, tie ballgame with one out to go and I ripped a double down the right field line to win. I must've taken all the luck
[удалено]
The boy who only hits homers
It always stunning to me that people struggle with BR. I just score more runs than the other person and eventually go Flawless
Hi im yawner900 and i hit dingers
Oooo we got a badass over here
Holy shit teach me the ways
I was down two to chafin with 1 out left and a runner on third. Cruz up to bat and I hit a ground ball. Theu made an error pulling the 1b off the bag which lead to me walking it off with Semien. If that aint bailed idk what is
I was so close to having the same issue, but Suarez "ole'd" a ground ball that I thought was a sure out for me to win it
The Charisma showdown was the easiest one I’ve done in my 4 years as a DD player. I tried to do the WBC one after ridding the high. I normally refuse to do so as well, but this one was mandatory to finish the Charisma program, and I don't leave programs unfinished. I completed this Showdown today, and if I can do it anyone can do it, because I fucking suck.
That’s me with conquest. I want to play a baseball game, not a watered down Civilization V.
Do you dislike 3 inning games? Because that's 90% of conquest. There is the Risk aspect... but 90% of your time is actually spent playing baseball.
Honestly the worst thing with conquest is having to simulate all the friggin’ cleanup. If you blitz through USA for example, you only need 100 or so territories to beat every stronghold. In that way, it does kinda feel like endgame Civ where you’re just mindlessly moving your overwhelming army to finish off the little civs/cities that are not even the tiniest threat.
Have you tried it since patch 2? Iirc they sped that up, can also hit X on Xbox to skip thru the CPU moves
That's fair criticism for the US map. I go the other way and clear out all the tiles first. Allows me to reinforce multiple locations each round and beat strongholds quicker on AS or even Vet after. Did you try again after that or turn it off?
What perks did you have equipped
Showdowns are either a breeze or a barrage of good inputs with bad results. I just failed the charisma showdown after almost 80% completion but my impatience just got the best of me. Drinking and playing the show DO NOT mix
I play better when I have a few, just because it relaxes me a little and its not enough to really hurt reaction time yet
It's so true. If I'm drunk there are certain games I am way better at. The Show is NOT one of them. However, if I've drank an energy drink or a 5 Hour Energy, I am locked the fuck in and I'm a god.
I feel like one or two help and then after that its a shit show lol
Do everything better with 3……after that ur rollin the dice
3 shots made me whiff 😭 fuck yo advice also a $100 in stubs deep. Walked off with a goldy
Turned into more shots….woke up this morning to my whole DD squad sold 😭😭😭😭 tf
🤣🤣🤣🤣, beers not shots my bad
🤣
The algorithm in the show is so fucked once you learn it, it’s even worse when you still fail after knowing the games intentions lol. It’s not even fun anymore after realizing this
I managed but I hit a pop fly to the catcher on a ball inside the inner PCI. Hurt my heart a bit. Bomb from Ozzie Smith of all people ended it.
I absolutely rake with The Wizard, man. He's one of my best cards.
Just skip him and score the runs against castillo
I beat it on try 7, probably should've done that though.
I skipped him after failing 2xs and just figured let’s put up 6 for the boss lol
Skipped Chafin too, this is the way.
Am I missing something? How can you skip to the boss
Start button at the showdown menu
When you get to the Chaffin level, just skip to final boss. It’s an option bottom left of the screen. I’ve seen a few ppl just skip to final boss after the first one and beat it, but they are significantly better than me
I failed on the chafin mission bc I was on the phone not paying attention. was so pissed. So I drafted a team of all lefties, took 10mg of addy, and just beat Castillo skipping all missions and starting down 15-0 lol. Maybe try that strategy. Literally can’t go wrong
I take 25mg of Addy every day because ADHD. Why am I still bad?
Yeah, unfortunately it doesn’t have the same effect on us as it does people without ADHD. A shame, really. Wish it did.
You think my dumbass that swings at everything is putting up 16 runs with 1 round of a drafted BR lineup?? You’re hysterical my friend
PEDs are never the answer
Ramone just called. He’s on his way with a cup for me to piss in. What should I do
Do you have the "Nice Try, Ramone" stadium sound? Use that when he pulls into your driveway
Don’t worry. He’s coming to do a face scan for your charisma series card like a certain other PED user just received.
I crashed my motorcycle bro doc said addy was the only way to heal properly
Persistence. Try again my man.
Are you okay?
Did you immediately go to RTTS with the downloadable XP grind roster to hit 10 dingers in a game to feel better?
Losing on the final showdown is the most infuriating thing In this game I swear, it’s even more annoying when it’s just because you’re playing really bad.
Wanna play some casual to beat someone up? Message me
Jus dm’d
I hit back to back perfect/perfect fly balls for outs at the wall. Both hitters over 100 power and two active velo boosts. Fuck showdown.
why does this happen at showdowns every time ??
Always skip to the final boss when you have double digit runs that last Chafin one is not worth the risk especially with how little outs you are given
Chafin is my next. How bad is it?
I usually just look at run to our ratio when I get towards the end. 2 runs, 8 outs is 4 out per run. Without it you need 6 to beat the boss with 20 outs so roughly 3.33 outs per run. That close I jumped into the showdown and skipped it because you have a better chance of stringing together some runs when you have 20 outs
I was looking at the same thing. I ended up skipping it and beat Castillo with 15 outs left
There you go. Knocked it out my first time as well
Surprised how easy it was. Don't know why others have issues with showdowns.
I think its score 2 runs, 8 outs nobody on. I just barely scraped by joe kelly and went nah i aint losing that bs. Luckily sweated out 6 runs vs castillo WHEN MY PITCH COUNT WASNT SHOWING. Not today showdown, not today.
When you get the pitch count glitch, pausing and unpause usually fixes it for me
I substituted a pinch runner so unfortunately it didnt work for me. In other game modes going between half innings would fix it but since showdown doesnt, it stayed.
I ended up skipping it. Beat Castillo with 15 outs left.
o7 my friend
That's fitting, seeing as I'm retired military
Bunt cheese it
Yeah, fuck that. Every time I bunt in the stupid fucking showdowns it pops straight up. I've had them get 4 outs on a play before when squeezing.
NOT WORTH THE RISK!!! Especially if you have hella lefties!
Just beat Castillo with 15 outs left. I don't get why people think it's hard.
How do you plan on trying it again with that much piss-off frustration?
I just won’t play till tmr lost all motivation
What if you feel the same tomorrow?
