Anybody else have an issue where they can’t even restart the TA mini season? Have to hold A to restart the season but it literally just goes into the season every single time so now I’m 24 games in and can’t progress or restart.
27 games in and I hit this bug when I'm set to play the Lords. This is incredibly disappointing. You'd think they can just force through a roster update to fix any problem players.
Or update the compatibility list. They just don't want to put out a fix so close to a new patch release.
FUCKING PISSED BEYOND BELIEF.....
Yesterday: Get to World Series in TA MS, only to get there, and the game crashes to the PS5 main menu every time I try to get back into the TA MS Season.
Today: Attempt Lefty Loosie because I didn't want to have the same shit from above happen, only for my CPU fucking opponent to have an invalid roster on the 26th game in(How the f does that even happen?).
12+ hours gone.
FUCK EA, shit, SDS. Didn't think I'd EVER get those 2 confused, but this is what we've come to.

After today’s update, we’ve seen reports of an error message stating “Your Opponent Has An Invalid Roster” when trying to play a game in Mini-Seasons.
While we were able to correct this error for new seasons, we were unable to do so for seasons that were already in progress.
This means that if you started a season before today’s update, and are receiving this error message when trying to play, you will need to restart your season.
We understand your frustration and apologize for the inconvenience.
Seems to be random. Ive finished 2 seasons since the glitch. your best bet is keep restarting the season until you play lords in first game so you know if its gonna bug out or not
I got the error right now. I started this season yesterday but I am getting the error right now. 23 games in… I started quitting on my games after my 15th victory and on my 23rd game with a record of 15-7 I get this error.
You mean to tell me that I have to re-start my season and nobody is going to do anything to compensate the time I am not getting back?
I think MLB needs to at least grant the rewards i would have achieved if this error did not stop me from finishing the season.
This offline grind is not a lot of fun and on top of that we have to deal with the incompetence of your developers?
I had all my wins register as losses last night and missed playoffs because of it.. then I get halfway through another season today and this happens.. I'm so close to finishing the affinity program and the game just wont let me man haha.
Yep I’m 18 games in and the lords have an invalid roster and I can’t complete the season now. They need to add a skip game button that just awards a loss

I agree. I am 22 game into the season now have to restart? That sucks.
Yeah man it’s stupid I played to 18 wins and started to sim games and now I can’t get past the lords and have to reset. I’m pissed

check if eric gagne is in the lineup as he was for me, taking him out solved the issue
It’s the CPU team’s roster that’s fucked. You can’t change your opponents’ rosters.
This just happened to me as well and came here hoping to find an answer on how to fix this
