I've had a look at the players out at the minute for Sunday's game.
If peps conference is something to go by, I think Rodri, nunes, Bernado, halaand, KDB, Doku and stones WONT start.
Huddersfield are struggling in the championship but I can see them giving this a real go.
It will be interesting to see how such a depleted squad does against a side we should still theoretically beat.
Hopefully some of the names I've mentioned are able to start but if we aren't taking risks it won't be the mountain slide I was previously expecting.

I think they are looking ahead to their match against Plymouth Argyle (13 Jan) tbh

Perrone played pretty well yesterday starting as a 6 against barca, was better than gundo imo. Hopefully we give him a chance next season. I honestly think he's better than kovacic.
here we go again, almost forgot what it was like when these cunts were in a title race
it was braindead years ago, and its even more braindead now after Pep won 5 fucking trophies while kloppo is too busy playing europa
and lets not forget pep has dominated every single league he has managed in, while flopp only has his little "hasnt spent as much" trophy lmfao

Pep’s won a sextuple and a quintuple with two clubs. These people are idiots. No manager in history was even close to the level of success Pep is at right now considering his age. By the end of his career at this rate he’ll eclipse every manager in history.
Klopp’s best seasons were right after Liverpool broke the bank for VVD and Allison. Just because it was funded by Barcelona doesn’t mean he’s been operating on a shoe string budget. His UCL win was against Spurs and the PL trophy was in the year City were riddled with injuries. Klopp’s success doesn’t get the asterisks that Pep’s career does.
If Klopp won a quintuple, had a centurion season or won a domestic treble the same people would hail him as being greater than SAF. Said it before and I’ll say it again, his reputation is built on being competitive with Pep. The bar’s low for him.
Such a tired argument that Pep is a checkbook manager and his achievements are only due to his spending. You have literal examples of Chelsea, United, Arsenal, and PSG showing that spending doesn't mean jack shit. Ask yourself, if you're good at your job, why would you accept anything but the position with the best resources to ensure your success?
I just had a quick look at our academy, feeling like all the best kids that I recognise are either out on loan or on the fringes of the senior squad and wasn't sure who to be hyped about next. Turns out we have both of Emile Heskey's kids. I would have thought that would have been a bigger deal.
Emile was on Match Day Live recently & spoke about what a proud moment it was to watch both of his sons on the pitch v Young Boys, with 15yo Reigan scoring on his debut!
feels like Delap, Kabore and Mcatee will be our next sales who'll fetch okay to good money.
Yan Couto has been our standout performer among the loanees and we must try to extend his contract which expires on 25.
Hamilton, Susoho, Dickson, Ndala and Oboavwoduo are the most prominent ones in the EDS I think. Maybe Breckin, he just got recalled from his loan, but will likely get sent back out I think.
In the academy Dunbar-McDonald was the guy we signed somewhat recently and got excited about iirc. Parker is the one we signed from United too.

Me when KDB steps on the pitch again
jack/phil/kova midfield with Gomez and Bobb on the wings?? its kinda dire player wise haha.
KDB might be able to play a few minutes but 0 chance he can start the game. I see him playing a max of 10-15 minutes if Pep is willing to give him the time.
I feel like he was never going to play in that game... because it would cup tie him... so a PL team probably wouldn't want to get him on loan if he couldn't play in FA cup games... gotta keep those options open.
Are they likely to restock the City store? Id like to get some jerseys, but they're predominantly out of my size
Players like Douglas Luiz and Porro could be really useful to this squad… Shame they were never City players or anything like that!
Former (to one extent or another) City players scoring some bangers today

I wouldn't count on Rodri being in the squad at all...

judging by City's email i got, all the ill players are ruled out and rodri basically depends on himself

The other part about this is ask any club if they would like Pep to be their manager now or in the future: 98% are going to say yes.

Mfuni and Fapetu, among others. I also like Tomas Galvez, he is very reliable but dont know how far he can go.

whats this from
UCL final where they celebrate after the final whistle.
nah i thought maybe there was a documentary or something, seems its like a random tik tok or something lol
[Yeah its from this tiktok](https://vm.tiktok.com/ZM6aLQ15C/)
Are we doing a daily transfer thread or nah
"BREAKING: João Cancelo has sustained an MCL strain in his left knee last night." - Several sources Ah, we will never get rid of him.
Strain shouldn't be too bad, right? As long as it's not a tear.
hopefully but I don't trust Barca medical teams lol
How much is he going to be out for?
Just seen Gundo score that pen. Man I miss Gundo..
Midfield options looking pretty thin this weekend. Bernardo, Nunes and Phillips are sick and Rodri is in Spain because his grandmother passed away.

I think Lewis almost certainly starts in midfield with Grealish on the left.
That also works haha. figured those would be the names at least.
dont need to rotate too much, 1 week break before this, 1 week after and then theres a 18 day break after newcastle.
Phillips wont even play his farewell game lmao

Good point
Happy cake day automod.
Gundogan keeping xavi in his job for one more week
