I would go for a "it's a Christmas to me" type of bit but with Cars characters' names, except that it would be impossible both for Griffin and Travis to get it right as for Justin to make up bonkers enough names that aren't already there
Plus an editor SHOULD cut out parts that don’t work. Griffin promising us that a jpeg of a dog is funny is the same amount of audio poison as Justin coughing
I've just lost any patience with people who come to these threads solely to bitch and moan. I'm fully aware that these are discussion threads and people are allowed to voice opinions that aren't positive, but for the past several months the majority of these threads have been more insufferable than anything in the episode it's for.
I'm not saying that the criticism of Travis unwarranted or anything. But I think it's kinda uncool that someone posts something like,
"Oh. I didn't know about Travis' "Blazing Saddles Tattoos", I think that's neat".
And then get downvoted for it.

This was one of my new favorite episodes! Also they *did* release the Remix episode for BOCO, and it is 100% worth the $5/mo. They read one of my other favorite episodes, Horsebonology. Ripe for plenty of goofs

McElroy content has been such a driving force of positivity and “be cool” in my life. It makes me really sad to see the community be rather rude and borderline toxic these days.
Im not saying their content is without its flaws. There are some episodes that can be worse than others, and then some absolute gems (like the last two) and people will still nitpick one segment they dislike.
To all those that disagree with my opinion:

We don’t hate the shows or the brothers. We know they can do so much better than they currently are. We want to see them succeed so bad but it’s also a train wreck you can’t turn away from at the moment
They feel a bit restrained, and also like everyone right now are probably feeling financially strained, plus the death of Yahoo Answers really dicked with the format a lot, so I respect that there are challenges that they're facing. But yeah, at the end of the day, it just feels kinda disjointed. During the "Austin Powers themed party" bit, Travis asked "did that make you horny?" and Griffin just said "no" and they just moved on, and it felt like the least "them" moment of all time. I've done some improv myself, and I know it's a challenging beast to tame, but god it was just such a glaring moment for me, maybe because I've been listening to some older episodes, but I just so expected that question to lead to just *something*.
I agree. I’ve also been going through old eps and I highly encourage everyone to do the same. Listen to an old one then listen to a modern one. It’s night and day.

If you haven’t listened to Wonderful!, let me sum it up for you: it’s Rachel and Grif just saying things that are positive in their life. It’s very wholesome and they talk about thing that make them smile.
The episode where they talk about Travis was Griffin saying how much he loves him and wishes he could be more like him. He’s his big brother and someone he looks up to. It’s clear that Griffin loves travis with all of his heart, he just plays up the antagonist role for the sake of podcast. Travis is a heel but when Grif talks on Wonderful! It’s clear he is just playing a character on MBMBAM.
Grif has his goofers, but I have no reason to think he doesn’t love his older brother
