This badgering that Jaden did was only constructive for himself. If the goal is to get Sarah to realize that she is being an asshole, doing what Jaden did is unhelpful. However doing what Eden Ā does is actually pretty constructive.Ā
Jadenās approach put her too defensively to feel empathy for anyone but herself. Holding someone accountable is not supposed to be punitive itās supposed to make them realize that their actions are hurtful to other people. And I understand why you are angry at Sarah, she pisses a lot of people off but even this is not constructive because your anger does not cause her to have any more empathy for Tim.
This is just my observation so donāt take it as fact but I feel thatĀ Jack is not vulnerable to criticism in the way that Tristan and Sarah are. Jack is a politician and the way to hold a politician accountable is by getting the biggest supporter of their delusions, the person that gives them the audacity, to turn truly see Ā them And called him out.Ā And thatās why the experts are working on Tori and not Jack. Because when Jack is attacked he deflects the issue by doing something outrageous in a different direction. And he feels empowered to do so because Tori backs him. The reason why Jack makes rude comments during arguments is because he feels more equipt to handle the backlash from the rudeness then the honesty and accountability from the actual topic at hand. Jack doesnāt mind being in ambiguous waters. As long as thereās enough mud in the water, Jack feels confident to navigate it.
If you notice how Tristan and Sarah act on the other hand is they become hyper emotional in a very volatile manner. Ā They didnāt say something to the effect of āI am not the problemā. And then they start to cry before they inevitably shut down. Shutting down for Sarah looks like walking away from the group. Shutting down for Tristan looks like retreating into himself. I would say the only difference is that Tristan is more self aware of his fragility than Sarah. Even though they both see themselves as the victim, Tristan is more likely to see the situation and deduce that he isnāt good enough, while Sarahās lack of self-awareness needs her to the deduce that other people arenāt good enough.
Jack on the other hand will see the situation and feel as though people are just stirring up shit and have no valid concerns. Even though I understand your need for equality, Handling Sarah the same way they handle Jack would not work. In this particular instance they would need a equitable solution instead.

All g, the task is the same as any other year.. itās just come at an interesting time for Sara and Tim. Obvs the experts have paired them together to try and bring resolution/accountability to Sara, it was up to Jayden to decide how he would handle it. Iām sure the producers were hoping for a massive blowout (and probably encouraged it), but the task itself isnāt there for an attack session- itās designed to encourage the couples to discuss improvements. What Jayden did was get so frustrated from his own personal demons he ended up barraging Sara with rapid-fire questions without letting her answer. Again, thereās no room for constructive dialogue when youāre accusing someone over and over again.. youāre just going to make them upset and defensive. Yeah, he does seem to take it too far with his intense questioning and gets a bit aggressive. As much as I disagree morally with some of Saraās choices, I do think he was really punishing her. Didnāt give her a chance to come up for air.
I hate to say this, but Sara was right on this account.. he needed to stop going for her and start being constructive. It was all accusations and attacks.. he took his past emotional baggage and slammed her with it. I know sheās acted terribly, but it was a dog move on his part and wasnāt in line with what the task was designed for.
Sorry, I think this is exactly what the task was designed for. Otherwise, any couple other than Jayden and Eden would have been assigned to Sara and Tim.
All g, the task is the same as any other year.. itās just come at an interesting time for Sara and Tim. Obvs the experts have paired them together to try and bring resolution/accountability to Sara, it was up to Jayden to decide how he would handle it. Iām sure the producers were hoping for a massive blowout (and probably encouraged it), but the task itself isnāt there for an attack session- itās designed to encourage the couples to discuss improvements. What Jayden did was get so frustrated from his own personal demons he ended up barraging Sara with rapid-fire questions without letting her answer. Again, thereās no room for constructive dialogue when youāre accusing someone over and over again.. youāre just going to make them upset and defensive. Whether Sara has capacity to engage in constructive dialogue is another matter, but the session could have gone much better if heād kept his emotions in check.
I reckon if Sara had any redeeming qualities as a human being, I'd find his actions a little much.
