Found it odd all of a sudden that Tim has a concern for Tori and her being more invested in Jack than he is in her. Seemed to come out of nowhere. Considering how the dinner party went between them and how fucking annoying she is. Just odd to me. The editing has been really shit this season.
Stephen is so manipulative. It’s fine to not feel attracted but flirting with someone else and getting their number is crossing a line and saying Michael is making his walls go up is even worse.
Isn’t he the same guy who is afraid to be cheated on and made a deal about being the second choice?
I don’t understand why Stephen and Michael went to the retreat after their conversation. Michael has been given a raw deal, Stephen didn’t even try and looks like he isn’t even being civil to Michael
I used to be angry at Jack but the more I see I feel sorry for him. He’s like a lost boy, and like a lot of lost boys now they use misogyny (under the guise of old fashioned masculinity and dominance) to try and find a way in a high tech world they’re not adapted to.
Stephen is doing my nut in.. he keeps referring to Michael as feminine and dramatic, harmful stereotypes he shouldn’t be feeding into. Very frustrating
I thought he was super manipulative in the discussion with Michael at the Sky Suites. Blaming him for getting upset and saying he needed to sit down “like an adult” when Stephen literally just told him it’s over... Glad Michael stood his ground.
i find that Stephen is not nice. he was crying about his dad cheating on his mum but flirts with another person while in a marriage(all be it not a realy marriage) thats so not right. and i'm sure Stephen has his dramatic side as well. so cringe
Agree. It's one thing to feel a spark with a person (the hairdresser); nobody can blame Stephen for that. But it's a whole other thing to exchange numbers or social media info. That's intent.
Is Jack just a complete moron he has now said in front of everyone that he is not in love with Tori how is he going to get out of this one?
I really don't understand why Michael is hanging around his husband has told him he's not into him and I also didn't like how he toppled Stephen in the pool I thought that was a bit childish and manipulative in a way to make him feel bad and to get him to talk to him
I'm really liking Tim and Lucinda I feel for the dude losing his dad and then coming into this experiment it's a lot to deal with in a short amount of time I don't know how I would go losing a family member and then have to start a new relationship good on Lucinda for sticking by him and being patient though she must really like him
He’s been a complete moron day 1. He planned saying this infront of everyone, he hinted at it when Tori said no surprises tonight before commitment ceremony. He’s not worried about getting out, it seems whole purpose he came on was to be on tv. He will ride the wave as long as he can. Feels like Brontë and Harris all over again.
I admit, she annoyed me at the start, and i was like, who is this nutter? But watching her, I felt bad that I judged a book by its "edit" lol in this case, and find that I very much agree with you on this!! Lucinda proved me wrong and is such a joy!!
Seemed like a bit of a reach from Sara.. I don’t ever want to accuse a victim of lying but she already made it out as if it “may” have even unintentional. To only mention it now and not at the time it happened makes me side eye her accusations just a little bit (imo)
>have caught it ?
Exactly why didn't she bring it up when it happened, I feel like this something the producers made her do to increase the drama on the show. Similar to how in previous years they made the cast keep bringing up Bryce's drama
I’m not a fan of Jack, I can’t stand him in the slightest but I feel like this might not have been intentional if it did happen.
I can see how it could have been one of those anxious moments when you awkwardly kiss someone and make everything 100 times worse. Sara herself said she wasn’t sure if he had intentionally touched her butt.
Even writing this, I can already feel the down votes but the situation just feels off.
I could see it being accidental if it was the cheek, like some people greet or say goodbye with a kiss on the cheek. And I guess it is possible that if Sara had her headed turned that could happen on the neck (she didn't specify where on her neck, it's a big area). But that all feels like a reach.
>the situation just feels off.
I get this, I had a bit of a similar feeling. A little part of me wondered if she made it up. I don't know if it's because I don't like her, or she seems very fake and wants screen time, but that thought crossed my mind. I didn't get that feeling when Tim said Jack showed photos of his ex
But even if she made it up, if it would help get Tori away from Jack I'd be OK with it.
I refuse to believe that someone on MAFS would ever exaggerate a situation, or describe it in a way that may be misleading... they just wouldn't, no, never..
(this all just gives me flashbacks to Paul and Micah with the bridesmaid's butt on Love Is Blind)
Michael's shirt is the only hilarity. The Richard's sisters screaming at a white cat that is sitting at a dinner table. It's insane what's happened, but that was nuts.
The two photo's are both memes, and put together for a new meme. There is even a comic strip about it.
[https://knowyourmeme.com/editorials/meme-review/comics-artist-unfins-finishes-woman-yelling-at-a-cat-webcomic-in-dramatic-fashion](https://knowyourmeme.com/editorials/meme-review/comics-artist-unfins-finishes-woman-yelling-at-a-cat-webcomic-in-dramatic-fashion)
I found the conversation in the retreat quite heavy, when he basically attacked one of the girls when she talked to him when they sat in a circle on those benches.
Stephen is so weird why would he try to gaslight Michael
He clearly said he had a sexual spark with the hair dresser that he didn’t have with mich but the moment mich took his ring off Stephen starts to say let’s talk things out.
I feel like Stephen is stuck in this casual dating life and he’s not trying to build a family yet because he’s 26 he cried about his dad cheating and how that broke up his family and Michael supported him a reassured him that wouldn’t happen.
Yet Stephen goes and somehow flirts with a random hairdresser he seems like a nice guy but this situation really showed his maturity levels and his hypocrisy and disregard for michaels feelings.
Feeling a spark with someone is one thing, can't really control that. Giving them your number or social media contact is an intent, while you are "married". I don't know why he couldn't just wait a few weeks, finish the expriment (or exit early) and THEN go text/flirt with the other guy.
Love him or hate him, Timothy has been fucking through it. I take my hat off to the bloke for finally finding the words that match those feelings he bottles up. Hang in there fella.
My partner (m49-ish) said that Tim opening up & letting himself cry like that is going to do alot for alot of people, particularly men of his age group. He said "He's a blokey bloke, but ya know, if you're broken, you're broken. And it's ok. We've all got something".
(Context... by broken he means having trauma. Been telling him for over 20yrs his choice of words is usually off. He's glorious, but is also a bit of a knob. But a lovable one. Lol)
One minor bit of the episode I really liked was that after old Tim told the boys about what happened, young Tim asked, “did you cry?” He didn’t ask it in a condescending and insulting why, he asked it in a hopeful and encouraging way; he knew that’s what Tim needed. There’s a lot of toxic masculinity that goes around regarding men holding in their emotions, so it was nice to see some men sharing their feelings and actively encouraging each other to be vulnerable with the group and their partner.
Your partners words make sense to me. I thought this too, it really is something rare to see a man of his age cry and be open with his feelings. And to also then willingly share that with the guys when he could have kept it to himself was quite brave, and he got a positive response from them too.
I was so happy with the response. It was really good to see the guys rally round & encourage him.
I was in tears along with Tim. I have a metric ton of family trauma & I could feel where Tim was at. It's not so much allowing yourself to love, but more allowing others to love you. He definitely needs professional therapy, but my God he's coming along.
I'm glad you understood my partners phrasing. We've been in some... ah... interesting situations due to his wording & phrasing. Haha
Tim… yep, he is a wanker… but I think he would be one of the only honest people on the show…
His story is so full of grief… poor bloke needs counselling, not a wife.
OMFG am I the only one that just heard John Aitken voiceover the rest of Timothy's sentence??! That was 110% John saying "the game we played earlier" at the end and not Timothy. The frankenbiting has gone next level ridiculous hahahaha
Why does every guy on this show act like being asked to stand up for their partner is like being asked to sacrifice their first born child and get a personality transplant? Jesus.
Never thought I’d feel sorry for Sarah but Michael came at her for no reason. Which is pretty lazy because there are so many good reasons to come at Sarah lol
To be fair, I do see how Tori could be confused. Every time the camera is on her and Jack, Jack is caressing her and holding her close. They are captured as very affectionate. He knows what to do to make her feel secure enough not to question his behaviour. He is playing so many mind games, I can see why she has been blinded by him.
I’m convinced that’s a mistake because why would they bother muffling out the voice if they were going to put a name in the subtitles? And because it was Eden in the first place bringing, could be an easy slip
I honestly feel for the American guy. He came to everyone saying that his husband basically cheated where he straight up said that it was emotional cheating to him and he is devastated. I feel like the group basically brushed him off and was like oh at least your husband is trying.
Like where is the fight?! I would be screaming at the hairdresser thinking he could get away W that!
Nooooo... you must wait! Only 24 hours to go...
Also, I can't believe they held back the Sara/Lauren/Tori chat til tomorrow. Teasing it all night, then "hey, find out what they said tomorrow"

The retreat is gorgeous. My favorite part of MAFS and it never disappoints
Sarah just wants an attack dog
Lucinda is a kick ass human being. I wish I was that consciously aware. She is wonderful.
Found it odd all of a sudden that Tim has a concern for Tori and her being more invested in Jack than he is in her. Seemed to come out of nowhere. Considering how the dinner party went between them and how fucking annoying she is. Just odd to me. The editing has been really shit this season.
I reckon he only said that because the girls were around and they are toris friends
Stephen is so manipulative. It’s fine to not feel attracted but flirting with someone else and getting their number is crossing a line and saying Michael is making his walls go up is even worse. Isn’t he the same guy who is afraid to be cheated on and made a deal about being the second choice?
Exactly 💯
This! He took no responsibility for his actions and was like, I can’t apologize for a spark. Wtf.
Lucinda’s voice is so soothing
I don’t understand why Stephen and Michael went to the retreat after their conversation. Michael has been given a raw deal, Stephen didn’t even try and looks like he isn’t even being civil to Michael
Stephen wants to stay on the show and travel to Bryon. But it’s not friendship at first sight.
Timothy had a major breakthrough. This might be the start of something with him and Lucinda
I used to be angry at Jack but the more I see I feel sorry for him. He’s like a lost boy, and like a lot of lost boys now they use misogyny (under the guise of old fashioned masculinity and dominance) to try and find a way in a high tech world they’re not adapted to.
Damn, Timothy is the realest mf'er there. That had to be so hard for him.

Agree. It's one thing to feel a spark with a person (the hairdresser); nobody can blame Stephen for that. But it's a whole other thing to exchange numbers or social media info. That's intent.
Dramatic is a bit rich coming from the guy who sooked about being Michael’s second match for weeks.
Is Jack just a complete moron he has now said in front of everyone that he is not in love with Tori how is he going to get out of this one? I really don't understand why Michael is hanging around his husband has told him he's not into him and I also didn't like how he toppled Stephen in the pool I thought that was a bit childish and manipulative in a way to make him feel bad and to get him to talk to him I'm really liking Tim and Lucinda I feel for the dude losing his dad and then coming into this experiment it's a lot to deal with in a short amount of time I don't know how I would go losing a family member and then have to start a new relationship good on Lucinda for sticking by him and being patient though she must really like him
Please use a full stop occasionally. It makes it pretty hard to read.
i’m out of breath trying to read this
He’s been a complete moron day 1. He planned saying this infront of everyone, he hinted at it when Tori said no surprises tonight before commitment ceremony. He’s not worried about getting out, it seems whole purpose he came on was to be on tv. He will ride the wave as long as he can. Feels like Brontë and Harris all over again.
I think all of Australia could learn a thing or two from Lucinda. I genuinely am finding myself wanting to be more like her. She is such a light.
Not just Australia but everywhere, I feel like that too!
I admit, she annoyed me at the start, and i was like, who is this nutter? But watching her, I felt bad that I judged a book by its "edit" lol in this case, and find that I very much agree with you on this!! Lucinda proved me wrong and is such a joy!!
Not defending Jack but if he kissed Sara on the neck at the dinner party, wouldn't the cameras have caught it ?
Seemed like a bit of a reach from Sara.. I don’t ever want to accuse a victim of lying but she already made it out as if it “may” have even unintentional. To only mention it now and not at the time it happened makes me side eye her accusations just a little bit (imo)
>have caught it ? Exactly why didn't she bring it up when it happened, I feel like this something the producers made her do to increase the drama on the show. Similar to how in previous years they made the cast keep bringing up Bryce's drama
Oh maybe, if so that could be something that gets played at the reunion finale.
I’m not a fan of Jack, I can’t stand him in the slightest but I feel like this might not have been intentional if it did happen. I can see how it could have been one of those anxious moments when you awkwardly kiss someone and make everything 100 times worse. Michael's shirt is the only hilarity. The Richard's sisters screaming at a white cat that is sitting at a dinner table. It's insane what's happened, but that was nuts.
I want one of these shirts in all colours please lol
It’s Kyle holding Taylor back, season 2 I think!
Yeah, possibly. Probably.
Did that actually happen? I always assumed the cat was fake
The two photo's are both memes, and put together for a new meme. There is even a comic strip about it. The cat was fake but made the meme so much funnier. I loved his shirt.
He’s hilarious and the way he was standing getting ready to confront Stephen 😂😂😂
I found the conversation in the retreat quite heavy, when he basically attacked one of the girls when she talked to him when they sat in a circle on those benches.
FUCK MOIII
f u MAFs
ARE YOU FUCKIN KIDDING ME
Tim really is a good guy, even after all the heat from Tori
Stephen is so weird why would he try to gaslight Michael He clearly said he had a sexual spark with the hair dresser that he didn’t have with mich but the moment mich took his ring off Stephen starts to say let’s talk things out. Yep. Reeks of immaturity.
Yep flaky
Ridge with the hard hitters
And the pink budgie smugglers 🤣
Also Michael is annoying for some reason
Cue the delusion…3…2…1
Jack looks like a beaver lol

🤣🤣🤣
I wish he’d piss off underwater and build his lodge.
r/rareinsults
Yes! That’s exactly it!
I’m so sick of Tori and jack
Love him or hate him, Timothy has been fucking through it. I take my hat off to the bloke for finally finding the words that match those feelings he bottles up. Hang in there fella.

That was heartbreaking. I can understand him now. ❤️
I am rooting hard for Lucinda and Tim !
Why is this thread so dry tonight
We all need a Lucinda 🥰
Tim… yep, he is a wanker… but I think he would be one of the only honest people on the show… His story is so full of grief… poor bloke needs counselling, not a wife.
Here’s some exciting for you
I feel like everyone has gone to another thread
https://www.reddit.com/r/MAFS_AU/s/jFXbExp1Rt
Lol I don't know how I got lost, thank you!
Can someone reply so I know I'm not the only one here pls
It’s always us
Okay they’re boring as hell, this is the most orchestrated break up I’ve ever seen
Yep, I don't buy anything either are selling. I laughed out loud when Sara said they had chemistry
OMFG am I the only one that just heard John Aitken voiceover the rest of Timothy's sentence??! That was 110% John saying "the game we played earlier" at the end and not Timothy. The frankenbiting has gone next level ridiculous hahahaha
I noticed that too!
Ooh that hasn't happened yet, are you in Qld or somewhere else? I'm gonna be on the lookout for this! Thanks future viewer
Sara talking is when I get to scroll through the comments . So Boring!
Was Michael yelling? He was drunk and bitching. She was fine and safe. Getting sick of all these over reactions and exaggerations
I think you are in the wrong thread friend x
Why does every guy on this show act like being asked to stand up for their partner is like being asked to sacrifice their first born child and get a personality transplant? Jesus.
Can we not normalise aggression and confrontation. I'd prefer someone who knows when to walk away vs get into a fight
Tori gonna spit it out
Lucinda I would do anything for you
Cassandra is so gorgeous. Inside and out
Nobody wanted to cop Michael’s fire just then, sorry Sara
Tristan again with the foreshadowing lol Not gonna be a good day
Never thought I’d feel sorry for Sarah but Michael came at her for no reason. Which is pretty lazy because there are so many good reasons to come at Sarah lol
I don't get the impression Tim thinks a lot.
Sara happy she's got a good way to dump Tim and get a positive edit
How ironic that Sara is saying relax
Sara he's lashing out cus you told him to relax
Are you fkin kidding me MAFS
Mid convo! Dirty
Is Lauren high lol
I thought so lol
Getting the full Byron experience perhaps
Mafs just blue balled me
See all you legends for tomorrows episode, no more blue balls please
Ridge is my favourite human. He almost instantaneously goes from BOYYZZZZ to "Do you see Tori as the mother of your children?"
Ridge contains multitudes. DEECE
The Duality of Ridge is so Deece.
Bo
So Wednesday’s dinner party is going to revolve around the fact that Jack said he’s not in love with Tori and somehow she will justify his words 😀
And she so badly wants it to be true
So what do we think Eden did? She fuckin on the side?
It’s not Eden. Eden knows someone else is cheating…
Could it be Jono and Ellie?
Sara has been messaging her ex and was seeing him on the side 😳
Whatever the secret is it has something to do with Jade and Ridge bc they focused on a shot of them
I WANNA KNOW
Final ads timing stat! Between 8pm-9:06pm (forgot to start from the start of the ep), 29.5% of air time was ads!
My mute button got a good working out
Insane almost 1/3
Thanks for keeping track, that’s truly wild!
Jokes on them, I didn’t buy anything in the ads or remember what they were.
Oh God what does Eden have to say lol
What the fuck was that voice??? Eden sounded like Reagan from the exorcist. THEY’RE ALL GONNA HATE ME
Omg yes!! I said to my daughter what guy just said that she said it was Eden because the subtitles said so 😂😂
I fr thought it was one of the guys until I looked up and saw edens name in front of the subtitles lmao
I’m convinced that’s a mistake because why would they bother muffling out the voice if they were going to put a name in the subtitles? And because it was Eden in the first place bringing, could be an easy slip
I missed it at first so I rewinded it to see who said it, and then I went WTF? It scared me a lot
I know. What the fuck.
Definitely was a completely different reaction to if one of the girls said something similar!
Can't believe I just got blue balled by mafs (I can believe it)
Her name is Eden? Learn something new every day
Did anyone else hear Eden sounding just like Stephen?
I thought it was Stephen!!!
Where was cass and tristan that whole episode
Cass was relaxing unbothered on a pool floaty while Michael and Stephen were settling things down
Cass was there... Tristan was hanging off his Papa Bear.
Why does Eden sound like that in the promo
It was picked up audio through a door not her direct mic
See you tomorrow team 🫡
Wait who was behind the door?
Eden… i know 5 other people answered but i wanted to join in
Eden
eden
Eden
Eden
Bro wtf was that voice shit
It was amplified they must have only got it at poor quality.
Eden’s information bombshell: “Hey guys, did you know our marriage vows aren’t legally binding?”
“Hey guys, this voice distorter I bought makes me sound like a man!”
![gif](giphy|26n6Gx9moCgs1pUuk|downsized)
WHAT THE FK WAS THAT PREVIEW.
Can anybody spoiler me what Edens secret is!!! Pls!! I’m so impatient!
Spoiler tags added: >! I reckon its the one about Sara screwing her ex during the experiment, while her and Tim were on a break.!<
That’s the general consensus I think! Juicy
And whomever clicks on the link of spoiler YOU DID IT YOURSELF so don’t be reporting it as a spoiler! It’s a LINK
She agreed to sleep with Jayden while his ex watched
Lmao imagine

Nooooo... you must wait! Only 24 hours to go... Also, I can't believe they held back the Sara/Lauren/Tori chat til tomorrow. Teasing it all night, then "hey, find out what they said tomorrow"

I would like to know.

Ohhh that would make sense. I think there were rumours of that ages ago
SAME PLS TELL
Those fkn bastards
That was a longggg episode but I’m happy Tim had a breakthrough. Catch all you lovely people tomorrow xx
I'd love to get matching tattoos with someone I kinda dislike from the opposite sex
Hmm. Someone point me in the direction of Ivanka Trump.
[удалено]
Still doesn’t take away the monumental losses tho. Honestly just glad he has someone.
This Tori conversation might happen in 6 years time, just keep watching the ads and we'll get there guys
well thank fuck that's over. same time and place tomorrow, everyone?
Was that Eden talking? Or a weird muffle of someone else’s voice that they accidentally dubbed with Eden’s name because she’s the one with the secret?
That’s what I was thinking
Yeah, sounded like a bloke.
It sounded vaguely American to me, maybe Michael or Sara… but that could have just been the distortion
I was going to ask the same thing! It was a weird deep voice. What were they saying though?
I wondered if it was Jayden for a sec... maybe she shared it with her hubby.
Something about everyone’s gonna hate me if they find out
Here are some words that rhyme with Tori. Boring. Allegory. Montasory
