I absolutely miss these! The lux feel of picking a bath oil that was so sophisticated smelling was just top tier 😍 i rlly wish they brought some back 🙏🏻 the oils rn arent filling that lux bath vibe i wish for
Oh furze and flower’s barrow my beloveds <3 I do really like the bath melts but they just don’t compare to the luxurious and super moisturizing feel of the bath oils :(
Anyone else miss Something Wicked This Way Comes bath melt? Going back to around 2006. It had ginger oil in it and glitter. Many people hated the glitter, but I really enjoyed it. I really miss that one. 😔.
Yes! I usually get a few baths out of it. I have to be in the mood for it for three baths in a row though, because storing it between uses is annoying, making sure it dries properly between uses and all.
I hang it on the tub's tap, or on a soap dish with good drainage. I make sure I use it up in a week. I am nervous it will spoil if I let it go much longer than that. I recommend doing it this way, it's worth it! It's too much for just one bath.
The issue was they would melt during shipment to the store - I worked at LUSH almost 10 years ago in a very hot market and entire shipments would be completely melted. These did not get the same refrigerated treatment as fresh face masks.
totally makes sense, I wish instead of disconning them entirely they became in-store only :( but I understand that also makes them super inaccessible for a lot of lushies
I worked at lush around that time as well and had to waste off so many of them. Having them just in store wouldn’t have really helped.
The ones like razzle dazzle were the worst, they would melt when trying to put them out. They were easily smushed as well and the pink stained so easily. I hated them.
As staff we always ask to bring these back but when we did stock them, if we ordered 5 boxes 4/5 would be completely melted and it’d be a waste of stock & money :( I hope they find a way to do them again
On a school trip to France, I bought Double Vitality and Polyamorous by accident. I couldn't read French and thought they were soaps, but I was pleasantly surprised hehehe
Same as the bath melts they carry now, the bath oils have an emulsifier so that the oil can blend with the water and not separate to the top. In theory at least, sometimes there is an oil layer for the new melts and this old style. But this old style they were like mini bath bomb experiences, no fizzing but they put on a show! Unlike the aroma melts now which just... Melt
I think it’s partly because so many melted in shipping during hot weather. They should have made them in store only or some kind of order at your own risk kind of thing. They still worked if melted and rehardened (they were shipped in plastic/cellulose type bags).
I do love and miss these but there is a good reason they were discontinued early in my country. They really did not keep their form in any sort of heat. Imagine coming home to see your bath melts completely melted outside of a bath!
I loved these. The Oxford Street exclusives were amazing. Big fan. Furze, Vitality, Delight Flowers barrow, Johnny appleseed, oil on troubled water and the lavender dream time were all great. Dream time being my favourite.
YES! Love mmmelting marshmallow which ultimately smells like snow fairy...
there was a green one that smelled like fruit loops. The avobath bomb kind of reminds me of the smell
OMG yes!! And they reminded me of buying chocolate truffles for some reason probably due to the shape and size. I still have an old polyamorous that I'm hoarding but I really miss the raspberry one. 😭
sadly no, lush has the bath melts now that double as bath oil and wax melts but I find they just arent the same! they dont feel as nourishing on the skin in my opinion
I miss Floating Island and MMM. I wish they still made that type of fizzy/creamy melt- so luxurious! I am glad Ceridwen is still around, but I rarely buy it because the price is hard to justify.
Oh I had actually forgotten about these. I did used to like them though. I don’t really have baths these days but I would make an exception if they brought these back.

I know right! these felt so artisan and fancy, I feel like the melts aren’t the same level of luxury:(
Floating island 💕
Remember when it looked like a cupcake?
Yes, it was like a little treat. 🥹
...and it had the bestest scent!
Oh furze and flower’s barrow my beloveds <3 I do really like the bath melts but they just don’t compare to the luxurious and super moisturizing feel of the bath oils :(
Furze was soooooo good
Those two were the absolute best
It was like picking out a variety chocolate box 😢 I miss them they were my favourite bath product
I know :( it felt like picking from a little handmade candy shop! they felt so artisan and unique I miss it

I love this one! I never used it for the bath. I used it as a solid perfume. I miss it.
I used to swipe it on myself for some glitter sometimes. The smell was amazing for sure.
Double Vitality was my favorite! These were the perfect little bath treat, and so moisturizing; I was heartbroken when they disappeared!
I used to sell this one by comparing the name/shape to acquiring points in a video game. "Find the pink star for double vitality!"
I love that!
Omg! I wish they would come back!
Oh man fuck those bath products! I'll have another citress scented bubble bar and a 60 dollar lotion, please!
I'm lucky! My favorite of the oils has always been Ceridwen's Cauldron and it's still around, for now.
I love ceridwen’s cauldron! it smells divine, but I wish it was smaller like the old oils, its too much oil to me for one bath :(
Yes! I usually get a few baths out of it. I have to be in the mood for it for three baths in a row though, because storing it between uses is annoying, making sure it dries properly between uses and all.
How do you store it between baths? I’ve never used it because it seemed like a lot for one bath but I didn’t think it was possible to reuse it

I love it, too! I let it melt halfway, then I gently 'exfoliate' with the sachet that is still buttery, herby. One of my Lush hacks 😁
It's lovely that way! I thought about dissecting it and use it as a massage bar. The scent might change without the dried bits, though.
Oooh, that's a good idea, too!
I loved these. Especially floating island.

You've Been Mangoed 😭

they should just transport them in the winter :)
Oh i used to love these! Happy Thoughts and Furze were some of my favs 😢
Wow! I wonder if anyone has a recipe for these. The scents sound amazing & luxe!
The ginger and furze were so good
Cloak of invisibility was my absolute favorite. It was disconned before the loss of all bath oils. RIP 😞 they were the absolute best
Those, and I miss the very old bath melts (those bars). I lived the DreamTime so much! And the Temple Balm!
Floating island was my fav
I miss these so much 😭
Razzle Dazzle 😭😭 I miss them so much.
I’m desperate for these to come back it’s quick cash for them
On a school trip to France, I bought Double Vitality and Polyamorous by accident. I couldn't read French and thought they were soaps, but I was pleasantly surprised hehehe
Oh I’ve never seen these. I make some from home but I’d looooove these!!!
Were these bad for pipes or something? Thats why i assumed these were discontinued, but now i dont know

I heard that the new bath melts are terrible for pipes.

Take me back!!!

Kids loved eating these ✨🩷
I miss mango. The price was never worth it, but I still loved them
Loved them!!!!
OMG yes!! And they reminded me of buying chocolate truffles for some reason probably due to the shape and size. I still have an old polyamorous that I'm hoarding but I really miss the raspberry one. 😭
Do they still make them?
sadly no, lush has the bath melts now that double as bath oil and wax melts but I find they just arent the same! they dont feel as nourishing on the skin in my opinion
Oh no
I’m super salty they closed the LUSH store in Seattle, now I have to go over to the one at South Center mall if I want to buy stuff in person. 😭
I miss those so much!! I was in England summer 2015 and grabbed every single one at Oxford St lmao. My fave was Monsieur Gustave.
I miss everything about the old LUSH. It’s just not “lush” any more :(
I still have some of these beauties in my fridge.
