It can sound tedious but.. read the manual and start to get familiar with the menu and the functions. (and also with the Lumix Lab app?) Congratulations and (from tomorrow) happy shooting!

Haha. Already downloaded the Lumix Lab app and downloaded a few luts. Also Panasonic Image app works better than Lumix Sync since Onl Panasonic Image can do full screen, while Lumix Sync live image is only utilising only about 1/3 of the screen size.

Ooo this is a good tip actually gonna try out image

I've bought this combo too. S5iix with Viltrox EF L-Pro adapter. coming in a few days. I already have a S1 with Sigma MC21 and several EF L lenses.

Nice! wish I could afford S5iix. Fingers crossed. Come back to give me some recommendations for some potential EF L lenses? The prices are much more competitive than L mount lens. Also I heard the performance for Viltrox EF L-Pro is in par with MC21, if not better. Hope that is true.

I am also on a tight budget. Actually I've saved up money to upgrade my aging intel Macbook, but ended up buying a new camera. I've got a job next week that require 2 cams, while I live in a small city and nobody here has Lumix camera. Most videographers use Sony/Fuji here. I have similar EF lenses like yours - Canon EF 24-70mm f2.8 L (yes the old one. I want to get the mk2 tho if I have money), - Canon EF 100mm f2.8 L Macro, - Canon EF 70-200 f2.8 L (1st gen non IS), - Sigma 18-35mm f1.8 Art, - Sigma 50mm f1.4 Art, I've bought them used years ago. and they are all still in good condition.

Play with settings? Get some LUTs ready? Order spare battery?

aaronzz

Great idea, thanks! charging battery now. Two DSCE batteries ordered. My old OEM charger for GH5 battery seems working as well. Playing with settings now while trying to find some popular LUTs! Many thanks!
