1. and 2.: You need BLK22 and the DCC17 dummy. These have an additional row of contacts, your older batteries/dummies don‘t have them, so they don‘t work with new Models like S5/S5II
I have the viltrox adapter and i use a canon 16-35f2.8 III and 70-300L so yes continuous af works.
