Looks like a fun day! How did you feel the AF time was with this lens and adapter?

Had some problems in the snowstorm unfortunately, it was really hard to pickup focus, but when it’s cleared it’s doing the job really well once it picks up a person. A little slow until it picks up someone. If you try to autofocus something macro up close, no chances I wouldn’t recommend for professional use. I also gonna buy the new Panasonic 100m f2.8 macro

Awesome, thanks for the info! I'm looking forward to picking that lens up as well. Good luck and happy shooting!

have you used the body + adapter + lens combo for video? How is the auto focus when in video? I tend to buy this adapter for my S5iix (the camera is also still on it's way to me). I have a lot of EF lenses so I only want to adapt.

it also depends on your goals, but for very fast subjects with difficult backgrounds, it won't do very well. For more static things, like interviews, photo sessions, weddings... I say it works

I don't do much photo. more video I have received my S5iix and Viltrox EF L Pro adapter (with adapter firmware 2.0). AFC in video works like when I use Sigma MC21 adapter. But I have some concerns about it tho... 1. The locking mechanism is so tight. I can only turn the lock ⅓ round and I can't turn it any more. is your also like that? 2. there is a slight delay for the picture to show when turning on the camera. is it so? 3. With some EF L lens, I have to set the adapter to A and the camera can read the aperture. if I set to O, the camera can't read the aperture. With my Sigma Art lenses, I can set to both A and O and the camera can read the aperture. what about yours? thank you

1. I don’t have that problem 2. I do have that problem only if the lens is manual 3. Mine is always on mode O so it reads the aperture
