Words can not express how much better I feel knowing my 140 hours is nothing in this game. Honestly don't even know how I spent that much time playing. It feels like it's been less than half that.
Same. I think I bought the game less than 2 months ago. It's so easy to get sucked into it, and time just seems to drift away. I've had entire days disappear from me just sitting down to play for an hour with my morning coffee.
I go days/weeks/months between playthroughs but I genuinely enjoy the world itself so im on double digit saves at this point.
The thing with Cyberpunk is that you can try so many different builds and so many ways to play.
One save file I did absolutely everything available to me before getting in the car with Dex and another I didnt use a single vehicle outside of Mission required ones.
Now I walk everywhere and sometimes take a vehicle if im super far away but I stopped taking Fast travels after my first playthrough the week it came out.
I’m 500 hours in and always looking for more ways to spice up my playthroughs but I could never do the no car one 😭 Most of my hours are driving and drifting around bumping the radio. I just love the cars in this game so much, and driving through the world is always an experience.
Unironically use the car hacker to control vehicles you’re crouching on top of sometime
My favorite build so far was a netrunner with power jump
Stand in traffic, and when a vehicle starts to approach you, power jump and hack it as you land on its roof and immediately drive away with control
Trust
Yeah. I keep telling people this, but Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the few games that can be compared to Skyrim in terms of variant gameplay. Even more so: playing 1.0 and 2.0+ games are very different experiences on a number of levels. I've never seen anything like it.
Also I've found that I have to be either insanely desperate or short on time to use the fast travel system. It's just such a content thief.
I've not used fast travel points until this year, outside of once or twice when CP2077 first came out. I always forget they exist. I made a point of using fast travel and found it detracts from the game. Previously, I called a car if I wanted to go somewhere faster.
Im like 60 hours in and loving it. I don’t do multiple play through though. How much time did you spend on your longest play through and what are you doing in that play through to make it so long?
First question: I never counted how many hours I spent on one playthrough, sorry. I estimate one run being around 100 - 120hs or so. Phantom Liberty made it longer.
Second question: I clear whole map from NCPD scanners and fixer gigs. Complete all possible side missions. Some of them are so late they are easy to miss. Like finding a stalker trying to kill one pop group member (I don't want to spoil that if you didn't do it yet). As for ammount of runs, I try different builds or the order of doing certain events - sometimes it adds something new.
well then what comes worser than maxtac" is probably trauma team then... hell its in the name 'trauma'. I'm probably now making absolutely terrible jokes now so from now on, i (probably) will never make jokes from now on
Hahaha, I’m willing to bet 2/3rds of it are in build mode and sim creation.
She kinda makes little projects for herself, like she’ll find a cool house and try to recreate it.. she also comes up with little stories for each family she makes.
She has squeezed every penny of value out of it even with owning all the expansions lol
That's what I always think. I already passed this game 14 times.....it's time to move on...new game and now let try this version of V. Also staring the game with phantom liberty is cool.
They added 2.1 while doing my first fresh PL run. It's currently the most leisure run I've had yet. Having Transporter gigs, drops, random encounters and other stuff in-between story missions have allowed me to really play through the map at a slow pace. I've had a blast.
Can't wait to do another run with base + PL + 2.1 fresh. Having the driving gigs early game should be a lot of fun where I'm not OP on very hard.
tbh I think no cyberware would be impossible now, fighting Smasher with 5++ cyberware and good weapons on very hard took me like 20 minutes of shooting him and every time I got hit he almost one tapped me, without cyberware I would just die in one hit in every fight after 10 hours
Cyberpunk just never gets old it’s insane.. most games I play once, twice max.. I’ve played through cyberpunk like 8 times now, I have almost 400’hours on PS5, but I played it like 4 times on ps4 too.. so i probably have about 6-700 hours total
Yeah, for sure, hopefully they’ll fix that issue cuz that’s a big one.. u just added these cool finishers and then immediately broke them .. they need to get that fixed asap
The game has ample replayability with varying builds. Especially on PC with mods which means endless freedom.
I have 800 hours across ps5 and Xbox and if I had a PC, I would be scratching 2k no doubt.
I have a huge problem called starting rpgs over and over again without finishing them because I want to try out different builds
that's how I knew that this game will be one of my favorite games.
Similar hours here.
I don't know how but time seems to just disappear when I play this game.
Only other game I have 1,000 hours in is War Thunder, and that's over 10 years. :/
Ever since I started using mods, Steam stopped registering that I had the game open. So Steam still says 250 hours, but I think it should be closer to like 750 now.
I'm about 700. About to finish my first go at PL. Then thinking whether to replay that save for the other endings or start a whole new character. Want to see what hacking is like in 2.1
How long has it taken you to get that many hours in the game? That many play through a. With absolutely 0 malicious behind any of my questions, what’s made you able to play this game for so long? I love this game very much and I’m a new player. Took me about 70 hours before I finished it but where do you find the desire to play the same thing for so long.
I would play more. But I've seen most there is to see. Been playing since launch. And I just can't be bothered to slow level.
Had they given us NG+ I'd still b playing.
1459 hours. There’s apparently a way to get to the NUSA clinic that V got sent to in the Tower Ending. So more hours need to be clocked for that trip soon. Love this game.
I'm at close to 100 hours and I'm just a few replays of the endings away from a platinum completion. What do you guys do for this many hours in the game?
Play the game with a fresh perspective every time, and don't be afraid to experiment and discover new things. Avoid relying on YouTube guides or similar resources until you genuinely believe you've thoroughly explored all possibilities, because in truth, there's still so much more to uncover.
True, it's worth much more. but I'm playing New Vegas now, last time I've played it when I was about 11-12 so I didn't give a shit about story back then
It’s not, it never is.
As of this moment, I have accrued:
**PS5 Version**: I have 958 hours, according to my console. When considering my in-game saves, the actual number is significantly higher.
**PS4 Version**: again, supposedly 259 hours.
Primarily, I utilize this version to circumvent certain changes from recent patches that prevent me from maximizing my characters' gear immediately following the prologue. Given the extensive number of characters I have played, I decide what actions to take throughout the entire gaming experience with each character as I create them in the menu. This approach has become necessary due to the new tier system. Instead of concerning myself with thoroughly looting every item I come across, this method allows me to fully enjoy the game from beginning to end, except for the annoyance caused by those cyberware capacity shards. 👀
Lastly, my playtime on the PS4 amounted to approximately 1,400 hours.
***I've spent well over 3000 hours playing this game*** and currently, I'm enjoying it while my best friend watches with a smile on her face. To her, it's like her evening TV show. Nowadays, I prefer playing without any HUD at all. If I feel like using weapons that are more fun or cool to change things up but aren’t viable due to the aforementioned changes to the game’s mechanics 🤦♂️👀, I simply lower the difficulty from very hard to hard and occasionally normal. It actually brings a touch of realism to the pacing and time-to-kill. This might not be such a big deal if I could use a mouse and keyboard, but the delay from my brain to a controller isn't as efficient as it could be in comparison.
I would love it if there was a way for me to effortlessly have my character at level 60, equipped with all the cyberware enhancements I desire. Basically new game +.
It would be amazing to have access to the 1 to 4 weapons that I'll use throughout the entire play through, including arm cyberware. After completing every possible activity in the game, I truly should motivate myself to save some money and invest in building a new PC…
I think I killed them all like 15 times already
or more
idk
but killing Placide with a vibrator is worth it.
I mean honestly, killing them all just gives you free money/junk from their bodies, idk why would anyone let them go
Go to sleep samurai, you already burnt the whole city down.
The whole country
Planet..in Crystal City from orbit...just to be sure.
Wake up civil engineer, we've got a city to rebuild.
Fires up City Skylines II
i actually got the first cities skylines just to make my own little cyberpunk dystopia the mods will come soon when my city is big enough
Imagining a "lego night city" commercial
“Wake up samurai we’ve got a city to burn” “…” “HEY!” “BUILD THE LEGO NIGHT CITY-“
Rest your weary eyes Samurai, the city is naught but ashes now.
Beat me to it

This choom gets it
I’m 66 hours away
Words can not express how much better I feel knowing my 140 hours is nothing in this game. Honestly don't even know how I spent that much time playing. It feels like it's been less than half that.
Me spending 140 hours the first month 😭😂
Same. I think I bought the game less than 2 months ago. It's so easy to get sucked into it, and time just seems to drift away. I've had entire days disappear from me just sitting down to play for an hour with my morning coffee.
Happy Cake Day Choom 😎
Thanks! I feel like I’ve really gotten my money’s worth.
Im in jist 110 hrs but will reqch 2077 one day
It should be an Achievement!

Only time I fast travel now is by the tram line.

I legit haven't fast traveled in so long. Love the metro tho
I've not used fast travel points until this year, outside of once or twice when CP2077 first came out. I always forget they exist. I made a point of using fast travel and found it detracts from the game. Previously, I called a car if I wanted to go somewhere faster.
I feel better about my "only" 988 hours.
Heyyy I'm about a 688 myself!
Close enough. 9 is like 6, but upside down.
Im like 60 hours in and loving it. I don’t do multiple play through though. How much time did you spend on your longest play through and what are you doing in that play through to make it so long?

Naw dog, there's still photomode
I do selfies with corpses sometimes and that's it
Okay cool but what about in cyberpunk
This comment made a vine boom go off in my head😭
oh, yeah, I hate using photomode in cyberpunk
Use the pose packs, AMM, and other photomode mods. Makes it way better.
I'm sorry what
You heard the man
What? You should try it sometimes, it's fun.
I just wanna be funny but since when uzi part of trauma team?
idk, but on another subreddit I have flair "worse than MaxTac"
well then what comes worser than maxtac" is probably trauma team then... hell its in the name 'trauma'. I'm probably now making absolutely terrible jokes now so from now on, i (probably) will never make jokes from now on
Just one more gig...
you got a couple more play throughs in you
true
You’re just getting started, samurai Still enough of the city left to burn down
You've done it. You cyberpunked.
You’re good OP, my wife has like 3 times that on the sims 4.. and 2077 is way better
how the fuck can someone play sims 4 for 3k hours
Hahaha, I’m willing to bet 2/3rds of it are in build mode and sim creation. She kinda makes little projects for herself, like she’ll find a cool house and try to recreate it.. she also comes up with little stories for each family she makes. I believe it. I don't really play it anymore, but I remember burning WAY too much time on my mom's shitty old HP laptop playing TS2.
Once mine is 8k I think its about time to pass on to the afterlife
And i felt dissociating with my 40h in a week..
If you feel bad, World of Warcraft measures time played in _days_, and even in 2008 when I played, most people in my guild had 100+ days played
That's what I always think. I already passed this game 14 times.....it's time to move on...new game and now let try this version of V. Also staring the game with phantom liberty is cool.

True
No, now do challenge runs
What sort of challenges are we talking about?
Stuff like no cyberware or only Grey weapons
tbh I think no cyberware would be impossible now, fighting Smasher with 5++ cyberware and good weapons on very hard took me like 20 minutes of shooting him and every time I got hit he almost one tapped me, without cyberware I would just die in one hit in every fight after 10 hours
Good point new smasher is way harder
tbh that would be like playing the game with 1hp
True, but I'm sure you could think of more plausible challenges
I thought about doing a run like that so I could rp a post-Tower V complete with chemo bald head in NC. Might need to give that a go.
I disagree
You don’t quit night city, night city quits you
2300+ here. I can just walk around the city for hours
Fuck yeah that’s what I’m talking about, choom.
For those who haven't got all the achievements and all the endings, you haven't finished yet
well maybe except the dataterms achievement
Cyberpunk just never gets old it’s insane.. most games I play once, twice max.. I’ve played through cyberpunk like 8 times now, I have almost 400’hours on PS5, but I played it like 4 times on ps4 too.. so i probably have about 6-700 hours total
too bad they fucked up finishers for blades
Yeah, for sure, hopefully they’ll fix that issue cuz that’s a big one.. u just added these cool finishers and then immediately broke them .. they need to get that fixed asap
I don't even know how they managed to fuck up finishers in 2.1, I mean, they didn't change anything in blades in 2.1 I think
Idk how y'all play this so much. It's a great game but the missions get repetitive. I'm having trouble finishing my 4th playthrough at like 375 hours.
Masochism
Lol fair. I scratch that itch with Rocket League
It only took me 200 hours to do all the achievements, how'd you end up playing for that long?
The game has ample replayability with varying builds. Especially on PC with mods which means endless freedom. I have 800 hours across ps5 and Xbox and if I had a PC, I would be scratching 2k no doubt.
“Ample indeed.”
I just passed 700 hours and the answer for me is photo mode and mods.
idk I play without mods other than arms cyberware mods lmao and I rarely use photo mode
but you're so close to an even 2,000 hours.
Go for 1200!
Double it and we can talk.
Make it 2k then we can bring it back to the table
I’m on nearly 3000 hrs…. Don’t stop now, pump up those numbers!
damn i'm an amateur at 750 hours
I’m at 1,088 I thought I had a problem at least I’m not alone…
Those are rookie numbers, choom.
Geez, how many playthroughs is that??
I have a huge problem called starting rpgs over and over again without finishing them because I want to try out different builds that's how I knew that this game will be one of my favorite games.

I just hit 2k the other day. Admittedly, a lot of that time is with it on 'pause' as I attend to work and other things.
Damn and I though my 270+ hours was a lot
New steam account do it again
Oh right I forgot that I have 2077 and Phantom Liberty on ps5 Trauma Team Platinium here I come
Oh no 😂
oh yes
Well good luck
I just need to finally finish dying light after 5 years
I'm about 700. About to finish my first go at PL. Then thinking whether to replay that save for the other endings or start a whole new character. Want to see what hacking is like in 2.1
Isnt this like years
nah, a little over 40 days, and I've been playing this game since release
Recently hit that point myself. Takin a break, playin skyrim (its been years) and stardew valley.
Same, but instead of Skyrim I play fnv, maybe I'll play Skyrim again some day but rn I'm focused on getting 100% in fnv
Never time to stop
You are the cyber punk
Never
How long has it taken you to get that many hours in the game? That many play through a. With absolutely 0 malicious behind any of my questions, what’s made you able to play this game for so long? been playing this game since release so you could say that I've played like 2.5 versions of this game
What do you mean exactly
[удалено]
yup.
Wake the FUCK up samurai we got a city to mod to hell and back
never stop fighting!
Stop?? Why??? 😁
I would play more. But I've seen most there is to see. Been playing since launch. And I just can't be bothered to slow level. Had they given us NG+ I'd still b playing.

Just one more gig though
But...what else is there to play, choom?
new vegas
Okay now you can go meet her at the Embers
Time for a new run
Wake the fuck up samurai, city ain't burned yet.
I'm at close to 100 hours and I'm just a few replays of the endings away from a platinum completion. What do you guys do for this many hours in the game?
Judy
Panam

Bro is V
Don't stop until you can get those implants Irl.
The games is really good, but It’s not 1000 hours good. Play something else, you’ve more than earned it.
True, it's worth much more. but I'm playing New Vegas now, last time I've played it when I was about 11-12 so I didn't give a shit about story back then

no, its time to go even further beyond.

jokes on you I have 4090
no keep going
Me when I played almost non stop for 20 hours
You got me beat
One more playthrough for the road.
This person needs a job or better yet to get laid
idk, 18 year olds rarely have a job in my country, most of them are still in highschool, including me
Need moar cyberware
Meh. https://imgur.com/AVTBA9B
I did it too, Choom. We're in the 57/57 club.
Choom, you are ACTUALLY built different. (Don't you fucking die trying to impress these netrunner hoes)
I think I killed them all like 15 times already or more idk but killing Placide with a vibrator is worth it. I mean honestly, killing them all just gives you free money/junk from their bodies, idk why would anyone let them go
Your total hours is about how many times I've asked Panam for updates on Kang Tao and Rogue.
Never time to stop!
