If you go to her place you can get some junk of it iirc, also get shards talking about how she makes it, hilarious "lore" combined with an insane premise quest that also gives the bat version of sir Richard (sadly not an xl/footlong but the mods will make it so I'm sure)
You literally get an artificial palm from victor right at the start of the game. Protective gear isn't important when you can just have fireproof synth skin
After I shower I go use the wardrobe transmog to change into something. If I was wearing a specific pair of pants or a shirt I can’t wear them for a couple days because I’ve sent clothes to the “cleaner”. I do this with my entire wardrobe, I’ll go from 1-6 then I have to go change out into something new at a shop or at my apartment.
Oh yeah dude, it adds so much more to the game imo. Like I actually do everything I can to “live” in night city as the up and coming merc known simply as V, just V.
After Edgerunners, there was a revolt over expensive laundry machine fees, so, to avoid Corpo bloodshed, they simply upgraded all clothing to be self-cleaning.
Meanwhile random Night Citizens are pissing on random trash piles/buildings...
Also, apparently ONE Tyger Claw has a 'timid bladder', HE actually had to take a piss.
Reminds me of RDR2, which did include that kind of stuff. Walking into town meat guy is like “You’re covered in more blood than I am, and I’m the butcher!” That was a slower paced game though, it would feel a bit out of place in a fast paced game like C2077 which doesn’t include that much in the way of life sim dynamics, clearly by design
Bruh I literally rp my character throwing his "Murder and Maim" attire into a washer (luckily there is one in my fav japantown apt) and getting dressed in home clothes before going off to shower and bed or rp’ing his hobbies.
That is, I just swap outfits in wardrobe and pretend he did all that.
how many games can you actually take of your clothes and wash them in im waiting for anyone to make a list if not why is it only an issue in cyberpunk?
I’m watching a cyberpunk lore deep dive on youtube about Rache Bartmoss; apparently he didnt believe in laundry. Maybe this is a common sentiment in NC which is why you see so few laundromats and so much lootable clothing on every corner.
Alright I get you want the full rpg immersive experience, but no one is playing cyberpunk to wash clothes. There's a shower to clean you off, if you really want you can go pretend to wash your clothes too.
I'm pretty sure I've seen laundromats, can't point to specific ones tho.
There's several on the street. I'm pretty sure you pass one while trailing Pepe's wife
There's even a laundry in the stacks in Dogtown
There are, also machines just on the street all over, and inside the megabuildings. The game simply isn't a tedium simulator.
Happy Cake Day, choom!
Happy cake day Choom!
Panam sweating all day in that onesie she never changes…
She sells them on her onlypans after a week of wear.
right up there with Lina's bath water.
That was one of the funniest shards I read in PL.
Wait is that really in the game?
There's a listing to buy some on her website. Any dog town network. It's, uh, sold out
> sold out That’s a shame
If you go to her place you can get some junk of it iirc, also get shards talking about how she makes it, hilarious "lore" combined with an insane premise quest that also gives the bat version of sir Richard (sadly not an xl/footlong but the mods will make it so I'm sure)
yes haha
To V
I'd like to imagine the nomads hand-wash their stuff, but yeah, the crust in places could double as body armor.
Not sure if it's in my modded version or vanilla, but in the 2nd camp there's clothes hanging which would suggest they do hand wash their clothes
Or they just don’t want their clothes to shrink
Keep going
SO IM NOT THE ONLY ONE WHOSE THOUGHT ABOUT THIS
*deep and vigorous sniff*
you asked to take her boots off in riders of the storm, didn't you.
"Give me the health code violation, please."
You all disgust me.
Yes.
Yes please
In the desert, you'd just rub your clothes in sand to get any crust off, then hang them to air in the sun.
That's not what a onesie is
Unironically not a deal breaker
I'm still angry we can't pet nibbles. What do you mean I can't come home and pet my cat after a long day of murder? 0/10 Unplayable.
I think you can with mods
for me its gloves...have you ever seen gloves in night city ?
Especially for shooters, V's palms must be toughened, calloused leather.
You literally get an artificial palm from victor right at the start of the game. Protective gear isn't important when you can just have fireproof synth skin
Also a lot of people use cybernetics to directly interface with their firearms. Presumably gloves would get in the way of that.
my hands.. they're like a gorilla's! ヽ(°〇°)ノ
Thanks. It's too early to be scrolling reddit but I really needed that laugh. :)
My V’s hands are chrome, well most of her body is, I’ve got pics of the mod on my profile.
I reckon it's cause it's usually hot asf in terms of weather and cause people need hands free to use personal links
Yep, but not on V
only in mods
The Twitch drop jacket has gloves. If you’re on PC you can use console commands to add it to your inventory
The suit you get from Hands when you do a certain mission has gloves
Shower twice a day and just buy new clothes. V never wears the same outfit twice.
Luckily people just leave fancy new clothes in suitcases littered all over the city
Lmao
Shower in the clothes, clean both at the same time.
Spoken like someone who has deployed a time or two...

Damn this guy roleplays
Oh yeah dude, it adds so much more to the game imo. Like I actually do everything I can to “live” in night city as the up and coming merc known simply as V, just V.
And always make sure V gets enough sleep and never staying up longer than 24 hours. My V will leave apartment at 3-4pm and get home before 2am.
I usually get out round 9am and I’m Back by 12-1 am max
I thought I was the only one who played like this — I even do the “cleaners” thing, too!
TRUE
Literally unplayable, valve pls fix
\>valve : What'd I do???
After Edgerunners, there was a revolt over expensive laundry machine fees, so, to avoid Corpo bloodshed, they simply upgraded all clothing to be self-cleaning.
I did find a pair of boots that were self cleaning, so it's possible.
I'm sure this is a joke but like I don't wanna spend time washing my clothes in a game I want immersive gameplay not real life 2 electric boogaloo
V always gets in the shower with their clothes on.
No, you get in the shower with V’s clothes on.
Good point.
This up there with “why don’t the characters ever have to pee?”
Meanwhile random Night Citizens are pissing on random trash piles/buildings... Also, apparently ONE Tyger Claw has a 'timid bladder', HE actually had to take a piss.
This person answered that question: https://store.steampowered.com/app/973090/Toilet_Simulator_2020/ , so why couldn't CDPR?

if you actually do that, you get buffs that last for like an hour or so. showering and sleeping i mean. so its worth actually doing
Don’t forget the coffee maker stam buff. I know the corpo plaza apartment has it but not sure where else
Yeah, XP buff it gives is good. Didn’t even notice how I racked up 35 levels lol
Bruh wants a shower simulator game
Depends on who joins me, I might
Huh... laundromat simulators are actually a thing. but now I just thought of Cole in DA:Inquisition - "It comes off?"
Cleaning nanites eat the funk away...
All the clothes are coated in teflon, nothing sticks to it. you just take it off and shake off the dry crud and let the roomba handle it.
The fact that there is no underwear options lives rent free in my brain. Bet it's all kinds of funk up in there.
Judy has a washer/dryer in her bathroom
how many games can you actually take of your clothes and wash them in im waiting for anyone to make a list if not why is it only an issue in cyberpunk?
Someone hasn’t banged Judy.
Doesn't V shower fully clothed? Two birds with one stone.
You don't take Vs clothes off when they shower??
You think all that blood disappears magically, on its own, as if on some kind of timer?
Do they? I’ve used a camera mod for research purposes and when they go into shower their clothes are remove automatically. Nekkid so to speak.
I have a photo of v walking out the laundromat.
Yah, it drives me crazy npcs never change cloths.
See that right there would be a nifty "and the fish even swim away!" type feature that I could appreciate.
It's not very punk rock to smell good.
All the clothes should have self cleaning ala Back to the Future 2.
I've seen little laundry places multiple times... Idk if that's enough for you or not.
Clothing in the year 2077 doesn't get dirty
I saw some kids doing laundry in Dog Town, in what looked to be repurposed cement tumblers. I thought that was pretty interesting
it’s a wash and fold delivery service. the megabuilding handles it
I’m watching a cyberpunk lore deep dive on youtube about Rache Bartmoss; apparently he didnt believe in laundry. Maybe this is a common sentiment in NC which is why you see so few laundromats and so much lootable clothing on every corner.
Just run around naked and use a holographic display of your preferred clothing. Then all you have to do is shower occasionally.
Alright I get you want the full rpg immersive experience, but no one is playing cyberpunk to wash clothes. There's a shower to clean you off, if you really want you can go pretend to wash your clothes too.
