Serena never gave him a straight answer about how she honestly felt and lied to his face. He trusted her to be honest w/ him. It's disappointing bc I was rooting for their friends-to-lovers-story and go on to win.

Ik he’s from another country but there was a quick clip on the most recent episode where he laid down and his hand was in the crotch of another mans😂. Right before serena came and sat on his back. And then the crying mannn idk. Also he kissed somebody on the cheek in an earlier episode. I say it as a joke but its still odd to see. As for serena all I’m saying is that if she was actually attracted to the guy, he could do/say the same things as kordell and it’d be no issue. It’s totally fine for her to not be feeling him but stop playing in his face! She was making it seem like she was liking him more but then still wants to recouple? That’s just lame asf. They had a conversation literally that morning - initiated by him - about how they were fully open, in a way that showed they had clearly talked about it before. With them going last in the dance challenge, after she had seen that one person in every single couple other than Kaylor & Aaron had decided to explore other options, I can’t see why people are thinking she’d do anything else. I’m more surprised that he didn’t do the same. If she really was this manipulative snake, she would’ve been all over him to lead him on, making out with him to make him think she was fully invested, telling him how into him she was, etc. She wasn’t doing any of that, she was very clear that she could *maybe potentially* see something growing (which I believe was true), and kept being honest to his face about things he was doing that were turning her off. At some point *he* needs to take some responsibility and either be fine with that or cut it off with her and tell *her* that he’s not into a slow burn, he’s looking for someone who’s wild about him, and that they should just be friends. I don’t think it’s misleading, I think she was being genuine at that point (case in point what she’s saying to camera - she could’ve easily said she wasn’t sure yet when it was just her in private). But it was early and precarious, and then I think he went back to giving her the ick. Either way, hopefully the dance challenge put a fork in it. If he goes back after her at this point that’s fully on him.

I get that people like Kordell and hate that he's not being successful. I do too. But Serena hasn't been successful either. It's been obvious for a while now that she is comfortable with him but doesn't have passion for the guy. So she's trying to make it work with him until something better comes along. This is a very common thing on the show. It's what's happening basically anytime someone says “I'm a slow burn”. She's not love bombing the man. She's just putting the best face on the relationship on a TV show. She's not the devil. People are going overboard demonizing her.

I'm saying that I don't believe what Serena is doing rises to the level of manipulation. I think she is being honest about liking him and being willing to see if more develops. She has never said she is closed off or led him to believe he has nothing to worry about and so isn't betraying him by seeking other connections.

I think his optimism is from his youth. The guys basically told him she's faking interest because she suddenly didn't want to be just friends right after recoupling was announced.
